Last year, a fracas arose between members of rival upstate biker gangs that triggered a brazen shootout at an underground private lounge in Albany that left a 29-year-old military veteran dead and six others wounded
Albany Times-Union (ATU) coverage of various other biker crimes in the Albany area provide many leads as to the ongoing criminal activites of Joseph Brady --- and the multiple active investigations of those activities by law enforcement authorities --- all while Joseph Brady remained a top staff member for Assemblyman Peter Abbate
According to one of the Albany Times-Union's accounts of that event, a ".... shooting incident that rocked a neighborhood... two blocks north of Central Avenue on the edge of West Hill [in Albany] underscored what some law enforcement officials fear could be increasing tensions between a proliferation of biker gangs that have recently formed in the region, and others that have made a resurgence.... There has been a surge in shootings and homicides in Albany over the past two years, but Saturday's melee has cast a spotlight on the intensifying relations in the region's biker underworld.... " (See "Biker gangs focus of fatal shooting at 'illegal' Albany club" by Brendan Lyons, 10/13/2021, Albany Times-Union/ State [https://www.timesunion.com/state/article/Biker-gangs-focus-of-fatal-shooting-at-illegal-16529730.php]).
The article went on to connect two cases involving Joseph Brady to the string of more recent ongoing mayhem among the areas bikers.
Here are the details of what the ATU article related to Joseph Brady:
".... A year ago, the Times Union profiled Joseph Brady, a former longtime legislative director for state Assemblyman Peter J. Abbate Jr., who was the co-founder of a chapter of the biker gang East Coast Syndicate. The Capital Region motorcycle club formed about seven years ago and has drawn the attention of law enforcement for its members' alleged drug use and violence. The group also was the focus of a homicide investigation in Saratoga County, although no one in the club was arrested in connection with that case.... Saratoga County sheriff's investigators acknowledged last year that biker club members [including Joseph Brady] were a focus of an investigation into the disappearance of a Saratoga County biker, Michael P. Ahern [ ] who was last seen on Jan. 6, 2019, nine days before he was reported missing.... In January, Jack L. Jeffers [ ] pleaded guilty to manslaughter in connection with the disappearance of Ahern. But police and prosecutors never recovered Ahern's remains and, in an extraordinary move, allowed Jeffers to plead guilty without providing any details as to what happened or why he was responsible for the homicide...."
Gale how long do you think before we see Kassar, Golden, Abbate and Boss Brannan in handcuffs? They are all connected to this !
ReplyDeleteHMMMMM!
ReplyDeleteWho has Kassar, Golden, Abbate and Brannan all on his bad list?
Marty Golden was Bloomberg's #1 guy in Albany. All city legislation passed through Marty's office in the Senate and Abbate's office in Albany. This continued on for DiBlasio. One of the first meetings DiBlasio took after being elected was at the Bridgecrest Diner with Marty to map out his Albany agenda. Brady was at the center of all of this along with Boss Brannan and Kassar. Only a matter of time before indictments are being handed out like candy on Colonial Road. As they used to say "tick... tick... tick...."
ReplyDeleteRESPONSE & BACKFILL: THE "PROOF OF MARTY GOLDEN'S CLOSENESS TO JOSEPH BRADY WAS IN THE NY POST AS FAR BACK AS 2011" EDITION
ReplyDeleteTO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 4:34 PM"
YOU FOLLOWED THE FOOTPRINTS IN THE RELATIVELY FRESHLY FALLEN SNOW --- THERE IS PROOF THAT GOES BACK AT LEAST A FEW YEARS BEFORE THAT --- JOE BRADY'S NAME ISN'T MENTIONED, BUT FOLKS LIKE KASSAR KNOW THAT THE POST ARTICLE CITED BELOW IS A SMOKING GUN THAT MARTY GOLDEN HANDLED FOR JOSEPH BRADY, WHO WORKED FOR BLOOMBERG BEFORE HE WORKED FOR ABBATE
It's all there in one small article in the NY Post on one day in May during the fight to legalize professional MMA in 2011 --- ".... Time for rage in a cage!... The state Senate yesterday overwhelmingly passed a measure to legalize mixed-martial-arts fights — the first step toward bringing the bouts to Madison Square Garden.... The bill now goes to the Assembly, which in the past has put the sport in a political chokehold.... Forty-five states have legalized MMA fights, noted Sen. Marty Golden (R-Brooklyn), a bill co-sponsor.... 'The fighters are skilled, and the sport is strictly regulated in other states,' Golden said. 'It will be an economic boon to business. It will create jobs.'... Fighters exchange kicks, punches, slams, chokeholds, and elbow and knee strikes.... 'We’re so close to the time I’ll be able to fight in my home state of New York,' said current UFC light-heavyweight champ Jon 'Bones' Jones, who grew up in Rochester.... Critics say the bouts are too brutal...." (See "Pols in mixed-martial-arts rumble" by Carl Campanile, 5/24/2011, NY Post/ Metro [https://nypost.com/2011/05/24/pols-in-mixed-martial-arts-rumble/]).
