In the time since the kid, Karim Elsammak, called very late two nights ago, and among lots of other things --- talked about his "vetting" by and support among the Brooklyn GOP leaders --- we made some calls of our own
Here's what one member of the NYS Republican Committee from Brooklyn said about "The Kid" >>> "AH-HA-HA-HA-HA-HAH !!! WE HEARD ABOUT HIM FOR SOMETHING ELSE, AND WE PUT OUR FOOT DOWN..... BUT WITH NOBODY ON OUR SIDE GOING TO WIN THAT STATE SENATE SEAT, LET HIM DO WHAT HE WANTS...."
The local GOP leader said that the strongest candidate in Brooklyn on the GOP ticket is Alec Brook-Krasny --- who is running for the NYS Assembly as the Brooklyn GOP and Conservative Party candidate in the 46th AD
Nobody on the GOP ticket is more important than Brook-Krasny, and in the 46th AD nothing will be more important than electing him in 2022.....
Candidate Brook-Krasny will probably campaign with everybody on the Brooklyn GOP and Conservative Party tickets.
However, Andrew Gounardes is well known in much of the 46th AD; and the Gounardes & Brook-Krasny voters are seen as a key block of voters in the 46th AD. >>> As a result, any Karim Elsammak candidacy and/or campaign in the 22nd SD won't be allowed to jeopardize that vote inside the 46th AD in any way --- and lots of Republicans agree, both inside and outside the 46th AD.
Perhaps indicative of that is the following event announced by Brian Fox and his Verrazzano Republican Club for April 25th at 3:00 PM, at 86th Street & 4th Avenue, as follows:
"Brian Fox for City Council... [April 23, 2022 at 12:54 PM]... Join members of the Verrazzano Republicans Club, myself , Congresswoman Malliotakis, Curtis Sliwa and State Assembly candidates Alec Brook-Krasny . Republican for State Assembly and Dmitriy Kugel as we discuss the horrific crime surge. Let your voice be heard as we call on our elected officials to take action.... Press conference will take place on April 25, 2022 at 3pm and will be located at 86th and 4th Ave (train station)...."
I'm with Brook the crook.
ReplyDeleteFor the GOP & Con to rally around Krassny was plane stupid
ReplyDeletea rally on a plain?
ReplyDeleteBob was hoping he would get backing over Krasny. Everyone had a good laugh after we concluded that Frontus had a better chance.
ReplyDeleteUPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "BROOKLYN GOP GOES FULL-OUT GEORGE ORWELL" EDITION
ReplyDeleteSUDDENLY THE NEW AND RE-IMAGINED BROOKLYN GOP IS RE-WRITING HISTORY --- AND IN TRUE "1984" STYLE IS THROWING ALL OF THE HISTORY OF THE RECENT HORRORS OF TED GHORRA'S REIGN AS COUNTY LEADER INTO A "MEMORY HOLE"
A NEW MESSAGE HAS JUST BEEN PAINTED ON THE WALL OF THE "ANIMAL FARM" BARN >>> THINGS HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS GOOD IN THE BROOKLYN GOP --- THE BROOKLYN GOP IS RUNNING COMPETIVE CANDIDATES ALL OVER BROOKLYN --- AND (GHORRA MUST THINK THAT THIS IS THE BEST PART) MOST OF THEM HAVE CONSERVATIVE PARTY SUPPORT
The Brooklyn GOP just posted this on Twitter:
"Brooklyn Republicans@KingsCountyGOP... [12:04 PM . Apr 24, 2022].. Our great chairman Ted Ghorra is working overtime, securing a 2022 #REDTSUNAMI... [picture of Ted Ghorra's ugly mug]... [link to brooklyneagle.com]... Brooklyn party chair brings Republicans into overdrive to field candidates
It wasn’t so long ago when Brooklyn had only one or two Republican elected officials, and the local Republican Party didn’t run candidates in every district. Now the GOP has U.S. Rep. Nicole Mallio..."
This is what the new leadership team of the latest-chartered version of the BKYRs and their wards in the Brooklyn GOP Organization want everybody to repeat and believe:
"THE OLD GOP COUNTY LEADER, TED GHORRA, WAS TERRIBLE AND WAS DESTROYING THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IN BROOKLYN --- BUT THE NEW GOP COUNTY LEADER, TED GHORRA, IS WONDERFUL AND HAS COMPLETELY REBUILT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IN BROOKLYN"
Let's see if somebody can get that "plain" to take off and take us all to "Fantasy Island" --- where little Herve "Tattoo" Villechaize can shout "The 'plain,' the 'plain' !!!" upon our arrival --- and with Mr. Roarke, now being played by Ted Ghorra, standing happily at his side (we know that bit ain't George Orwell, but go wth the flow).
Gale the correct spelling is plane.
ReplyDeleteRESPONSE: THE "WE ONCE THOUGHT THAT TOO..." EDITION
ReplyDeleteTO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 1:25 PM"
THERE HAS BEEN A TREND OF THE INCREASING USE OF NON-STANDARD SPELLINGS AMONG CANDIDATES AND JUST "PLANE" SUPPORTERS AND FOLLOWERS OF THE BROOKLYN GOP --- WE EXPECT A LOT MORE OF IT, SINCE THE GEN X-ERS HAVE BEEN GIVEN A PLACE AT THE TABLE AS THE "NEW LEADERSHIP" --- WHICH KARIM ELSAMMAK HAS PROCLAIMED FOR ALL OF US
After all --- these new young leaders, like Karim Elsammak, are "prodessionals that have been given control of the lives of hundreds of people and millions of dollars of equipment...." But, then again, the same can be said about the MTA bus drivers and subway motormen in Brooklyn, but nobody has put them on as part of the Brooklyn GOP leadership team (who knows, some of them might even know the difference betweem "plane" and "plain").
Why is it that Benine Hamdan can tell us where she went to college, but not that kid, Karim?
ReplyDeleteWhy is everyone blaming Bob for Guilianis bad signatures?
ReplyDeleteDidn't you ever hear of writer's cramp? It can happen to anybody.
ReplyDeleteThe QOTClick person is off the rails again.
ReplyDeleteHer/his site is bitching about Bobby Carroll ... with a pic of the deceased Kevin Peter Carroll.
No credibility.
Boss Brannan is busy negotiating a $100 billion with a B new city budget while Brian Fox plays games with Curtis Sliwa. What a laughingstock
ReplyDelete3:46, Karim didn't go to college.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if this has anything to do with the Karim Elsammak campaign or the candidate himsef, but an airline's lost & found department was looking with great interest for whomever had lost 'a case of beer, an automatic back-scratcher, three burlesque-type G-strings, and a strait jacket.'
ReplyDeleteRESPONSE: THE "NOT VERY LIKELY THAT IT'S KARIM" EDITION
ReplyDeleteTO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 4:16 AM"
WE HERE AT THIS INDEPENDENT GOP BLOG FOR BROOKLYN AND SI TOLD YOU ABOUT THAT ITEM --- WHICH WAS THE RESULT OF THE RESEARCH BY OUR BOFFINS DOWN IN THE BASEMENT.....
To date, we haven't been able to connect that information directly to Karim Elsammak.
We won't bother to ask the kid directly, because he refuses to answer questions that he thinks are personal. And we did ask him a bunch of those when he called us a few nights ago --- and he repeately refused to answer them --- for some reason he brought up STDs, but we never asked him anything about that.....
As a result, until we can verify that it IS "Captain" Karim, we are saying that it is unlikely that Karim Elsammak is the person who left 'a case of beer, an automatic back-scratcher, three burlesque-type G-strings, and a strait jacket...' on a plane or a plain.
Fires burned through the night in the middle of 77th street and 5th avenue. Bay Ridge resembles Beirut and Justin is clueless. Or maybe he moved out of Brooklyn like others on this blog.
ReplyDeleteQueen of the click gets more traffic in one hour than this blog does in a year.
ReplyDeleteWOW! 'Queen if the Click' is now reporting on garbage fires in Bay Ridge. Here's her big scoop:
ReplyDeleteLast night, there was a trash fire on Fifth Avenue resulting from a fire in a commercial carter's truck, who dumped his load, which then set a parked car on fire too. The FDNY came and put out all the fires. It all took about fifteen minutes, start to finish.
Crime is so bad on 5th ave the Royal just closed for good.
ReplyDelete1:41 is Justin
ReplyDeleteBrooklyn Eagle has an outstanding article about the turn around chairperson ghorra has done with our party. Dmitri Kugel upset over Bill Colton will be the crowning achievement.
ReplyDeleteRESPONSE: THE "WE REPORTED ON THAT YESTERDAY" EDITION
ReplyDeleteTO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 2:11 PM"
YOU ARE A DAY LATE AND A POUND SHORT --- ALL THAT GAS FROM GHORRA & CO WAS MENTIONED IN OUR COMMENT "BROOKLYN GOP GOES FULL-OUT GEORGE ORWELL"
If you check, you'll see it's all there at "Galewyn Massey said... April 24, 2022 at 1:11 PM"; it's more complete and a full day ahead of your comment.
Since we didn't cover the Eagle article per se, let's briefly state that it was "ABJ" --- "ANYTHING BUT JOURNALISM" --- because it was 100% a puff piece with nothing of substance in it.
I dont recall a puff piece about craig the useless.
ReplyDeleteFLASH UPDATE: THE "KID IS A PARTY-CRASHER TOO" EDITION
ReplyDeleteKARIM ELSAMMAK IS LIKE A BAD PENNY --- TURNING UP FACEDOWN EVEN WHERE HE ISN'T WANTED.....
THERE HE WAS ELBOWING-IN ON BRIAN FOX'S PARADE AT 86TH STREET & 4TH AVENUE --- WITHOUT A FORMAL INVITE.....
--- POSSIBLY KARIM JUST GOT BACK FROM A SECRET AIR-RESCUE MISSION TO AFPGHANISTAN THAT EVEN HIS BOSS KNEW NOTHING ABOUT --- OR MAYBE, HE WAS BACK FROM BEING PART OF A DEPT. OF HOMELAND SECURITY POSSE AS AN UNDERCOVER AGENT, OR WHATEVER ELSE HE MIGHT CLAIM TO BE FOR THEM.....
That's why Brian had to let Karim speak --- because in addition to being a crackeriack airlines pilot and multiple business entrepreneur, Karim Elsammak is also a junior G-man, which makes him a "professional expert" on crime and law enforcement.
More on Karim's problems with Brian at another time.....
VERY IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL UPDATE: THE "BROOK-KRASNY'S BRUSH-OFF OF UNINVITED GUEST ELSAMMAK" EDITION
ReplyDeleteASSEMBLY CANDIDATE ALEC BROOK-KRASNY MADE A SPECIAL EFFORT NOT TO MENTION KARIM ELSAMMAK WHEN THE 46TH AD CANDIDATE SPOKE AT BRIAN FOX'S 86TH STREET & 4TH AVENUE EVENT
Brook-Krasny thanked everybody that spoke, except for Karim Elsammak. That wasn't an oversight, nor was it an accident --- It was a very clear signal.....
11:46, Click's traffic is either accidental or of the "point and laugh but don't engage" variety.
ReplyDeleteBrian Fox is pushing 450 pounds at this point
ReplyDeleteI watched the big press event today while I was waiting for my gyro at Plaka and here is my review: Karim Elsammak is a very well spoken for a teenager. Is he really a pilot?
ReplyDeleteBrian Fox looks like a coked up, overweight maître d' at a kosher steakhouse.
Elsammak's entire skill-set = "I went to a plane-flying high school and to a plane-flying school and I fly planes."
ReplyDelete1146 -- Queen must read this site because she edited her weird Bobby Carroll post to explain why Kevin Peter was in it.
ReplyDeleteScore one for Gale.
The Brooklyn Eagle article fails to mention that what the Great Ghorra became Chair, he had three elected officials but then lost the Senate Seat (Golden) and Congressional Seat (Donovan) and was left with only Assemb Malliotakis, so he is a net loser.
ReplyDeleteLets see what happens in November when all these GOP Candidates Lose and maybe the Brooklyn Eagle will have to write a retraction.
No the eagle had it right. Ted elevated the Brooklyn GOP at a very difficult time.
ReplyDeleteElevated to what? Losing?
ReplyDeleteFLASH UPDATE AND BACKFILL: THE "YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS UP" EDITION
ReplyDeleteBRIAN FOX DISSES KARIM ELSAMMAK WITH HIS SOCIAL MEDIA POST ABOUT TODAY'S EVENT AT 86TH STREET & 4TH AVENUE
THEN LIKE AN OVERLY GRATEFUL STEP-CHILD--- KARIM ELSAMMAK RE-POSTS THE PUT-DOWN ON HIS OWN CAMPAIGN META-FB PAGE >>> SINCE IT SORT OF MENTIONS HIM >>> BUT THE AGAIN, WHAT WAS POSTED BY BRIAN FOX WAS EVEN BARELY "SORT OF" MENTIONING KARIM.....
Here's the Brian Fox posting on his campaign Meta-FB page:
"Brian Fox for City Council is at 86th Street (BMT Fourth Avenue Line)... [Monday, April 25, 2022 at 4:52 PM] New York... Had a great pleasure to stand with members of the Verrazzano Republicans, Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis, Curtis Sliwa, Dmitriy Kugel, Alec Brook-Krasny . Republican for State Assembly, Karim4NY, Chairman Ted Ghorra, our great men and women of the NYPD 68th Precinct and many members of our great community to combat this pandemic of crime. It’s important in this moment in time to call out our local elected officials, we can’t have them fail us no more.... #timeforchange... #Togetheritcanbedone [with array of photos of the event]"
WOW !!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT: "Republican for State Assembly" --- "Karim4NY"
This kid has been demoted so often, he either doesn't notice, or it doesn't seem to bother him anymore --- he even re-posted it exactly the way Brian Fox wrote it.....
Did Brian's tie come with a free pocket square?
ReplyDelete"Had a great pleasure"?
ReplyDelete"we can’t have them fail us no more"?
The pro-Ghorra commenter(s) above obviously doesn't (don't) know that back around 2010, the Kings County GOP Chairman Craig Eaton had five (5) office holders at the same time: two in the U.S. Congress; two in the NYS Senate; and one in the NYS Assembly.
ReplyDeleteBrian Fox needs a new tailor
ReplyDelete"Karim4Whatever"
ReplyDeleteThat is exactly what Fox is worried about,
