What is going on with the Fox Campaign ?
Why are they are suddenly announcing "STEALTH" fund raisers with very problematic guest speakers ???
The Fox campaign's current fund raiser is called "Stand Up For Brooklyn"; and it is scheduled for "Monday, Sept. 13th @ 6:00 PM"
--- BUT ---"... LOCATION WILL BE SENT [ONLY] AFTER EVENT REGISTRATION... Brooklyn, NY 11209..."
This isn't just some bad wording in the display ad portion of the fund raising notice.....
The Brian Fox for City Council Facebook version of the fund raising notice is quite specific about the >>> SECRECY <<< And, in addition, here's what the >>> Facebook text accompanying the ad portion <<< says:
"... Join fellow Brooklynites and local neighbors in support of Brian Fox for City Council and his agenda to bring common sense back to City Hall and make NYC safe again. Enjoy delicious appetizers, fresh grilled favorites, beer, wine, soda and dessert on a beautiful picturesque estate in historic Bay Ridge by Shore Road. Exact Address given upon RSVP. Please donate with this link to RSVP and address will be emailed to you...."
[BTW, OUR SOURCES TELL US THAT IT MOST LIKELY WILL BE AT CRAIG EATON'S PLACE ON HARBOR VIEW TERRACE]
Whatever the posh surroundings of the actual "Stand Up For Brooklyn" event might be, it seems fair to say that somebody who wants to talk about bullying at Bay Ridge's Holy Angels Academy (now associated with St Anselms Academy as Bay Ridge Catholic Academy) will be there, and that there has been some mention of opening "soup kitchens" in the heart of Bay Ridge as part of the commentary about the "Stand Up for Brooklyn" event.
We must say, that is a very interesting way to "Stand Up for Brooklyn" --- very interesting indeed.....
Its at The Ginger Bread House by personal invitation only.
ReplyDeleteFirst Eatom with Vito Bruno and now Fox..the question begs is Eaton banned ?
ReplyDeleteGale is such a Karen.
ReplyDeleteKarens dont ban 6:49.
ReplyDeleteKarens get banned.
MODERATING NOTE: THE "BAY RIDGE CATHOLIC ACADEMY NEWS" EDITION
ReplyDeleteIT SEEMS ODD THAT A MERE MENTION OF THE NEW BAY RIDGE CATHOLIC ACADEMY WOULD PROPMT A VERY NEWSY BUT PROVOCATIVE COMMENT ABOUT JOHN QUAGLIONE AND TED GHORRA'S WIFE [NO, NOTHING LIKE THAT --- KEEP YOUR MIND ABOVE YOUR BELT] AND THE FILLING OF A POSSIBLE OPENING AT THE NEW SCHOOL
We are holding back the newsy but provocative item pending verification of the underlying facts.
RESPONSE & CORRECTION: THE "SOMETIMES WE GET IT WRONG AND THE COMMENTERS GET IT RIGHT" EDITION
ReplyDeleteTO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 11:48 AM"
IT LOOKS LIKE THIS COMMENTER BEAT US TO THE RIGHT PLACE FOR THE FOX FUND RAISER ON SEPTEMBER 13TH.....
The event will be at Jerry Fishman's "Gingerbread House" --- Why ??? I don't know !!!!!
Better luck next time for Craig Eaton.
And, BTW, Mike Long is still not amused about the Fox-Mahoney arrangement.
I send my kid to Bay Ridge Catholic. Today is the first day of school and the principal just resigned. Something is rotten in Denmark. Isn't John Q the chairm of the Board ?
ReplyDeleteFox has the guts to speak up and what happens? He gets bullied.
ReplyDeleteDear Justin Jimmy McC and the Justin staffers running this page, I see youre not even trying to keep up pretsenses. This is no GOP blog its the hsyteria driven rapid response page for Justin's reelection. No Republicans talk to McCall no more. It is really weak when you get it so wrong about where the fundraiser is and why its there. Craig would not go near the Fox campaign least of all open up his house for a fundraiser
