Now, Mr. Fox !!! About that shooting in Bay Ridge --- WHERE WERE YOU WHEN IT ALL WENT DOWN ?????

As we all know, things have not been going so great for the Brian Fox campaign.....

So, Brian and Liam put their heads together  ---  What to do ?!    What to do ???!!!    What to do ?????!!!!!

Let's get into Councilman Brannan's grill about a real crime in Bay Ridge.....    [How original !!!]

And so this little saga began:
First, there was an incident involving gunplay and shots fired around a barber shop on Fifth Avenue near 86th Street in Bay Ridge.

Then the incumbent Democrat City Councilman Justin Brannan came out with a rather routine statement about the incident, indicating that the local police precinct was on top of the situation,  that there were suspects, and an arrest was expected in due course.....

Here's where it really gets juicy;  the Brian Fox for City Council Facebook site erupted with this act of incendiary incontinence:
"Brian Fox for City Council is [imogi] feeling furious...   [9/14/2021]...  Unbelievable that Councilman Justin Brannan downplays #ShotsFired in #BayRidge. He tells us that it was an 'existing beef' and no one was hit as if that makes it ok.... Don't #stray from the facts Justin.... ***STRAY BULLETS KILL*** ... Most #children in NYC shot and #killed by stray bullets were from shots that missed the target of an 'existing beef'... This is outrageous and unacceptable!..."

However, this is some of what Councilman Brannan said: ".... PLEASE BE AWARE: Incident about an hour ago at the barber shop on 87th & 5th Avenue. Two men walked into the barber shop looking for the intended victim. One of the men pulls a gun outside and fires. Thank God no one was hurt. I'm told this was not random, and police believe everyone involved knew each other. Incident likely related to some existing beef between those involved. Intended victim is with police. We expect arrests imminent. More information as I get it...." That certainly didn't seem like it rated the pissy-pants potshots from the Fox campaign.....

Brian Fox and Liam McCabe seem to know exactly what Brannan had said, because they posted it verbatum on the Brian Fox for City Council Facebook site.... WELL, NOT QUITE VERBATUM !!! Here's something that they left out of the Councilman's well-crafted and responsible report of the incident: ".... ** This is an active investigation and until I have more confirmed information, I am limited to the details I can share so as to not jeopardize the police investigation...."

Since then, things really got crazy.....

So far the latest is one of those pop-up photo-opp demonstrations that Liam loves so much --- this time with about half a dozen participants --- and the now expected at Liam's stuff for Brian Fox, NO CROWD AT ALL..... There was lots of talk about outrage, and mistatements about how "defunding the police" led to this shooting --- but there was no real OUTRAGE, and even fewer facts about this incident or anything else (exccept for pointing out a few marks that were called "bullet holes".....

BUT THIS IS THE BIG SCOOP FOR NOW --- If you were to believe everything that Brian Fox said at this photo-opp, presser --- he must have been very close by 87th Street and Fifth Avenue at the time of the shooting, because he said he was lucky that he wasn't hit by one of the stray bulltets. Fox didn't indicate wheteher he has been questioned by police in connection with the incident. After all, since he is such a high profile character, with a very questionable past, perhaps he was the target.

  1. Fox is so fat that anytime someone fires a gun anywhere on the east coast he is technically in danger of getting shot

  2. The pic of him pointing to some police tape on a tree really sold me - in November, I’m voting for Fox. I’ve never seen anyone point like that!

  3. Justin voted to defund the police so he downplays all the shootings. And this is news?

  4. Ghorra should put on his big boy pants, take off his wig and find a candidate that has at least some credibility or some minimum contact with the district (I.e church board, coached kids in the neighborhood comm board, 68 th Pct council, bay ridge comm council-ANYTHING-maybe even something as simple as “I attended a meeting somewhere at some time in bay ridge) and take Fox out abs send him to- wherever the fuck he came from. He will get beat so bad Ghorra will have to hide his face.

  5. RESPONSE: THE "YOU MUST BE BRIAN FOX OR LIAM MC CABE" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 5:31 PM"

OBVIOUSLY, YOU CAN'T READ A LICK..... COUNCILMAN BRANNAN'S STATEMENT WAS A CLEAR AND CONCISE DESCRIPTION OF WHAT HAPPENED, AND IT WAS RELEASED SOON AFTER THE GUN-FIRE INCIDENT AT 5TH AVENUE AND 87TH STREET, BASED ON A QUICK BRIEFING FROM LOCAL POLICE AUTHORITIES --- NOTHING WAS DOWNPLAYED IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM

ON THE OTHER HAND, BRIAN FOX RUNS AROUND LIKE HE'S CHICKEN LITTLE, PARROTING ALL "THE SKY IS FALLING, THE SKY IS FALLING !!!" NONSENSE THAT THE REAL FOXY-LOXY OF THE FOX CAMPAIGN, LIAM MC CABE CAN MAKE UP

THAT ALSO GOES FOR ALL OF THE "DEFUND THE POLICE" LIES THAT THE FOX CAMPAIGN HAS TRIED TO PEDDLE ABOUT COUNCILMAN BRANNAN

One thing is clear, Brian Fox has no real grasp on reality or any of the details that make up that reality. He knows nothing about the job of City Councilman; and he repeatedly lies about what he might do if elected to the NYC Council. As a member of a very small minority caucus in the NYC Council, almost none of what a Councilman Fox might propose about the NYPD, Sanitation, NYC Schools or anything else would ever see the light of day, much less ever secure passage.

The long and the short of it is that Brian Fox is nothing but an inflated gas bag with a goatee not matter what Liam McCabe has him talking about.

  6. Wait, a minute. Is Brian Fox suddenly taking a strong position against guns and gun violence. This won't really play well to some of his base, who are the ones that think they have a citizen's constitutionally protected right to keep and bear arms.

Brian might especially upset Jessie Harrison by connecting the shooting at 5th and 87th with this latest headfake in favor of gun control.

  7. The 20% cut in police funding justin sponsored may be the reason for the uptick in crime since he took office.

  11. RESPONSE: THE "MYSTERIOUS AT&T TEXT MESSAGE MIGHT REALLY BE FROM FOX AND NOT BRANNAN" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 11:04 PM" & "... AT 11:18 AM"

THE SOURCE FOR ALL OF THIS MORE RECENT >>> DEFUNDING NEWS <<< SEEMS TO BE [AND YOU PROBABLY KNEW IT ALL ALONG] THE BRIAN FOX FOR CITY COUNCIL CAMPAIGN.....

Back in late August 2021, one of Fox's consultants, a guy named Bill O'Reilly, a media- / PR-type of person, apparently "leaked" an undated AT&T 5G text message purportedly sent by City Councilman Justin Brannan to a large list of left wing followers --- O'Reilly appeared to have "leaked" it to a news site called "Agility PR News," which is in fact >>> a paid newswire service <<< That means the so-called "news item" really isn't "news" or a "leak" from the Brannan side, but instead it is a "release" by the Fox campaign..... That being the case, it is the Fox team's burden to prove the validity of the item and to establish the provenance of the purported AT&T text [IN ADDITION, IT REMAINS TO BE SEEN HOW MUCH OF THIS BEHIND THE SCENES PR DETAIL IS PROPERLY DISCLOSED ON THE BRIAN FOX FOR CITY COUNCIL FINANCIAL DICLOSURES]

In any case, even after almost a month, the existance of any such AT&T text message by Councilman Brannan has yet to be independently confirmed by anybody; and Councilman Brannan has not been asked about it by any in the media, or by any other independent fact-checkers.

The very problematic nature of the AT&T text report by the Fox campaign is driven home by the fact that it was leaked through a cut-out operation and not directly on any of Fox's social media.

  12. Fox just made a post wishing people a Happy Yom Kippur.

There are so many things wrong with that I don't know where to start.

  13. RESPONSE: THE "THIS IS THE PROOF OF THE YOM KIPPUR PUDDING" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 2:24 PM"

IF THE "YOM KIPPUR POSTING" ON THE BRIAN FOX FOR CITY COUNCIL FACEBOOK PAGE ISN'T A COMMITTEE JOB >>> THEN IT'S AUTHOR HAS A DISSAOCIATIVE IDENTITY DISSORDER --- THIS IS ONE BRIAN FOX POSTING THAT IS GOOD, BAD AND INDIFFERENT >>> AT ONE AND THE SAME TIME, AND IN ONE AND THE SAME PLACE <<< IN OTHER WORDS, IT DEFIES LOGIC, WHICH HAS BEEN CALLED THE SYNTAX OF SYNTAX

Here's what Brilliant Brian Fox, and Foxy Loxy McCabe and Buffalo Gal Bill O'Reilly came-up-with to pander to all the practicing and/or self-identifying Jewishers out there in the 43rd Council District: "... Happy Yom Kippur!... Wishing all my Jewish friends a happy and easy fast!..."; and then this in a display box with the Fox campaign logo: "... WISHING YOU A MEANINGFUL FAST"

The only thing thing that might have made this posting completely and perfectly ridiculous would have been a typo of the word "fast" making it into the word "feast".....

  14. The latest video posted on the Brian Fox for City Council Facebook Page is a CLASSIC. His full fleece vest, sports shorts, and baseball cap look is perfectly coordinated with his "Dumb, dee, dumb, dee, dumb..." physical presence and posture during first couple of minutes of the video, while the woman who was hosting the slot filled the "airtime" with random verbiage, better if she would have had Brian Fox "vamp to a tune".....

Brian showed how much he really doesn't belong in any race for any public office was when one of his opening remarks was this: ".... My platform is built around sensibility..."

Brian really needs to learn the meaning of the words that he uses. He should be going to school not running for office.

  16. Naturally the racism dripping is not even subtle anymore. A shooting happens and this blog wants to know where the black man was. The crime running rampart is Brannens fault.

  17. RESPONSE: THE "RACISM IS AS RACISM DOES....." EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 5:58 PM"

WE'VE HEARD THAT BRIAN FOX IS EVERY RACIAL AND ETHNIC VARIATION POSSIBLE --- SOME MIXED, AND SOME MATCHED --- WHAT WE HAVEN'T HEARD IS WHO HE REALLY IS, WHERE HE REALLY COMES FROM, AND HOW LONG HE'S BEEN ONE OF OUR "NEIGHBORS" HERE IN BAY RIDGE

WE'VE HEARD HIM AND THOSE AROUND HIM OVER AND OVER REPEAT THE DIVISIVE TROPE --- "WE HAVE TO TAKE BACK OUR NEIGHBORHOODS !!!" --- MOST RECENTLY IN THE VIDEO INTERVIEW THAT HE DID EARLIER TODAY

As for asking about where he was and what he knows about the shooting incident at 87th Street and 5th Avenue in Bay Ridge >>> that's because it was his very own remarks that suggested he must have been in the vicinity at the time the shots were fired.
