Marty Golden does his half geek show, half minstral act at the Fox HQ opening --- all that was missing was blackface, banjos and tambourines

Doesn't Marty Golden know that preventive detention is unconstitutional everywhere in the United States  [except at the detention camp in the military base in Guantanomo Bay, which U.S. treaty territory in Cuba] ?????

Arrest is not a dispositive act under the law.....  Marty Golden seems to think that what the cops did in arresting somebody has some value in proving guilt  ---   it absolutely does not, unless the arrest occurs during the actual commission of the crime itself witnessed by one or more of the cops

Funny thing, Golden started his talk at the Brian Fox headquarters' opening by talking about the NY State Legislature and next year's election for NYS Senator  ---  all before he mentioned Brian Fox and this year's City Council race

Golden looked and sounded as dotty and addlepated as President Joseph Biden when he goes off-prompter

A Fox for City Council Headquarters  ---  and Marty Golden talking about the next elction for the state senate  ---  is this "Nostalgia Weekend"  or what ?????

  1. This speaks volumes. Liam McCabe spoke more than Brian Fox did; and many more times than anybody else, including: Fox, Golden, Malliotakis, Pepitone and Kassar.

  2. Today was an embarrassment. Brian Fox can barely string two words together to form a sentence. John Quaglione is still talking about how he lost the primary and how he "coulda been a contenda". The only silver lining is Liam McCabe. It doesn't matter who has their name atop the letterhead or the website, Liam McCabe is the chair of the local Republicans and Conservative Parties. Today solidified that.

  5. 638, you are a stupid poopy head. Why would John Quaglione complain about losing a primary when he's the one who won the only primary that matterd in recent memory, beating the guy that you're now trying to pump up, Liam McCabe?

Come November 2021, two political careers will be over before they ever really got started, Brian Fox's and Liam McCabe's.

  7. Anybody seen at this event should just deny been there. Some guy on Facebook said how they were grabbing at the food and by the looks of it most of the people there looked like they was afraid someone was gonna take the food away from them. As usual more people from Manhattan than Brooklyn, maybe they got confused and thought it was the soup kitchen Fox and the girlfriend screaming about.

  8. UPDATE& BACKFILL: THE "RECORD OF THIS EVENT IN BRIAN FOX'S OWN PHOTO ARRAY" EDITION

FIFTEEN (15) PICTURES ON THE BRIAN FOX FOR CITY COUNCIL FACEBOOK PAGE --- GUESS WHAT ??? >>> STILL NO CROWD SHOTS <<<

That's because this guy just can't draw a crowd of Republicans, Conservatives, or anybody else.

Let's see if that streak remains unbroken after the Monday night fund raiser event at the Fishmans' stone house.

  9. John Q is embarrassing. Four years later and he is still crying about his primary. Me I was hoping he would address the issue of spending $300,000 to beat Bob Cassandra

  10. The first african american to run for office in bay ridge and the racist comments about a fundraiser looking like a soup kitchen reflects what message this blog is putting out.

  12. Brian Fox, when asked if he is black, answered that he is Greek and Italian.

  14. Marty is right. If a cop says they did it than they did it.

  15. COMMENTARY: THE "GOOD OLD DAYS WHEN THE RIGHT THINGS WERE TAUGHT TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE" EDITION

SOMETHING HAS GONE VERY WRONG IN OUR CONTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC SINCE WE WERE YOUNG --- EVERYBODY THINKS THAT THE STANDARDS OF R.I.C.O. AND/OR "THE PATRIOT ACT" SHOULD APPLY TO "COMMON CRIMINALS," WHO BEFORE THEY ARE CONVICTED ARE "COMMON CITIZENS" OR ENJOY THE RIGHTS OF "COMMON CITIZENS" --- THAT MEANS FULL DUE PROCESS AND CONTITUTIONAL PROTECTION

Back-in-the-day, in law school they used to teach everbody a few very important things in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure classes: !) never argue with a cop, it's a waste of time; 2) cops don't know the law or really care anything about it; 3) cops will lie to solidify an arrest or to help prove a case against an accused, but prosecutors lie because it's in their nature to lie, whether necessary or not; and 4) an arrest, and even an indictment, doesn't prove anything even the exsistance of a prima facie case, because a Grand Jury couldn't find their seats if the prosecutor didn't tell the Grand Jurors where to put their asses down.

  16. Donald Craighead would be proud of 2:02

  17. Right! This story stinks to high heaven.

Craighead was arrested for possession of illegal weapons. He had travelled from the West Coast to the East Coast with no license plates, but with an American flag on his bumper in place of plates, and there was a bayonet and a machete in the cab of his truck when he finally was arrested while being parked "near" the DNC in Washington, D.C.

Was his vehicle made to look innocuous? Of course not. Supposedly, his pickup truck was painted with a swastika and white supremacist symbols; and when questioned in Washington D.C. by police, he allegedly spoke about white supremacist ideology.

State troopers across the length of the lower 48 must really be embarrassed for letting this obvious white supremacist threat to the nation get 99% of the way to his target with out spotting him; or did they, and just let him pass through, state to state to state, etc., etc., etc.

Like I said, this story stinks to high heaven.
