Trump Names New Lawyers to Lead His Impeachment Defense Team >>> David Schoen and Bruce L. Castor, Jr.
As reported by Newsmax and Fox News, Former President Donald Trump on Sunday named new lawyers for his impeachment defense team. It was a move that came one day after five other attorneys left the team due to internal friction over the former president’s desire to focus on his election fraud claims rather than a strategy that centered on the unconstitutionality of attempting to convict a president beyond the time of his legitimate term.
It's now obvious that former President Donald J. Trump wants his impeachment team attorneys to argue there was mass election fraud in 2020 and it resulted in the election having been stolen from him after Election Night, rather than focus on the procedural and substantive arguments about the constitutionality of the largely Democrat Impeachment Charges brought against him by all the House Democrats joined by a few Republicans.
Lawyers David Schoen and Bruce L. Castor, Jr., will now apparently take the lead on the team of defense managers representing Citizen Trump in his Senate Trial on a single article of impeachment.
To bad Luthmanns not out.
ReplyDeleteHe was onto something with that "trial by combat" thing. Even Rudy Giuliani has bought into it.
ReplyDeleteUPDATE ON A RELATED FRONT: THE "'NICOLE IS COMPLICIT' NATIONAL FUNDRAISER IS REPORTED NATIONALLY" EDITION
ReplyDeleteTHE HEADLINE ON THE ARTICLE BY KADIA GOBA THAT HAS APPEARED ON "AXIOS" AND "YAHOO SPORTS" READS LIKE THIS >>> "BIPARTISAN GROUP TARGETS PRO-TRUMP REPUBLICAN FROM NEW YORK CITY OVER CAPITOL SIEGE" <<<
According to the Axios/Yahoo Sports report: "Several political action committees focused on Republicans who voted against certifying Joe Biden's win have emerged since the assault on the Capitol.... A separate group of Democratic strategists and organizers also has formed JOSHPAC, or Just Oust Seditious Hacks PAC. It's targeting Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) for joining House Republicans in objecting to the Electoral College vote.... At least 13 top U.S. companies have said they won't donate to Republicans who voted against the certification, according to a CBS report...."
And this specifically about Nicole: "Malliotakis unseated Democrat Max Rose in a rare swing district in New York City that encompasses parts of southern Brooklyn and Staten Island.... Some of her constituents are now going up with a $50,000 digital ad buy. They say they plan to raise hundreds of thousands more for their effort.... The Nicole Is Complicit PAC, or NICPAC, created a video that starts with a snapshot of the rioting and ends with a CNN interview between Malliotakis and Erin Burnett. During that conversation, the news anchor pressed the freshman about her vote objecting to certifying Biden’s win...."
And Kadia Goba also added this interesting note: "Republicans also are using messaging campaigns to distance themselves from members in their own party.... Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), one of 10 Republicans to vote in favor of Trump’s second impeachment, also introduced a PAC targeting 'poisonous extremism.'... 'This is not the Republican road and now we know exactly where this new and dangerous road leads," Kinzinger said in a six-minute video announcing his PAC. "It leads to insurrection and an armed attack on Congress.... Separately, Trump ally Corey Lewandowski is using PAC money to target Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) for her own vote to impeach Trump last month.'..."
Here's what Nicole said in response to all of it: "This is the beauty of democracy...."

ReplyDeleteSINCE NICOLE SEEMS TO BE OK WITH ALL OF THIS --- HERE'S A LINK FOR THOSE OF YOU OUT THERE WHO MIGHT WANT TO CONTRIBUTE TO NICOLE'S UNDOING.....

There is just so much of politics that I'm not understanding lately. When all is said and done, will this "Nicole is Complicit" stuff hurt her or help her ???
Does this pitch look like anything real to you: ".... The events of January 6th 2021 are still shocking the nation. Nicole chose to stand with insurrectionists who wanted to overthrow the will of the American people, just to curry political favor. Nicole’s first acts as a Congresswoman were not to speed up the delivery of vaccines, get much needed money to our small businesses, reopen schools, or even to Back the Blue, but rather put the false conspiracy theories hatched in Pennsylvania before the needs of the residents of Southern Brooklyn and Staten Island.... We will hold Nicole accountable for her actions. And we will remind the voters every day until November 2022.... JOIN US TODAY...."
I heard anti-Nicole PAC raised $300K in 12 hours
ReplyDeleteAND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT: THE "PAUL MENDEZ" EDITION
ReplyDeleteWHO IS "PAUL MENDEZ" ? WHY IS HIS NAME BEING MENTIONED HERE ????? HOW IS HE DIFFERENT FROM BOO-HOO BEER CAN BOB CAPANO ?????
Well, I'll tell you, Alice..... Paul Mendez is a declared candidate for City Council for the 43rd Council District. He has filed and will be trying to qualify for matching funds. BBBCBC is none of that.
Bob is still talking about what being a toady for John Catsimatidis and/or Curtis Sliwa is going to get for Bob, while somebody else is actually doing something about running for City Council against Justin Brannan.
