No Republican-Conservative Candidate running only in Brooklyn has won anything yet --- BUT --- things are looking good for them

Nicole Malliotakis running for the U.S. Congress in Staten Island & Brooklyn has the best chance.....  [Earlier today, NRCC Chairman, Rep. Tom Emmer from Minnesota,  didn't count Nicole's race as a win;  but he did say that he hoped and expected that she would prevail in another takeaway from a Democrat incumbent, which he also noted was in New York City]

The same can probably be said about Michael Tannousis,  who is running to hold the Staten Island-Brooklyn Assembly seat formerly held by Nicole Malliotakis

The Democrat Leaders in Brooklyn have said that they believed that Democrat incumbents Andrew Gounardes and Mathylde Frontus are both likely to be winners in their races after all of the votes are counted

Nonetheless, late on Sunday, November 8, 2020,  Vito Bruno is still listed as having more than a 6,100 vote lead.....   And at the same time,  Mathylde Frontus us still trailing Mark Szuszkiewicz by about 2800 votes.....

  1. The Kings County Republican Party can only win races in districts connected with Staten Island. Otherwise, they are burned toast.

    ELECTION UPDATE: THE "ARIZONA COUNT DOWN" EDITION

    AS THE BALLOTS DWINDLE DOWN TO A PRECIOUS FEW

    ARIZONA: TRUMP -- 1,626,679 & BIDEN -- 1,643,664 // Difference -- 16,985 [currently favors Biden w/ @98% counted]

    Trump is closing in, but the remaining ballots a getting sparse.....

  4. When the paper ballots are counted this week everyone will "officially" see that Martys Blue Lives Matter rally was the most effective political move that will keep the GOP in power from Bay Ridge, staten island to coney island.

  5. Liam scored big with Szucizkszi.

  6. All our end of brooklyn needs is a GOP City Councilman and it's the GOP beach-head of NYC.

  7. When the paper ballots are counted this week everyone will "officially" see that Marty's "Blue Lives Matter" riot brought out the highest Democratic turnout for Bay Ridge in history. Proving yet again that Ted Ghorra's Wig Party can only win races for seats connected with Staten Island. Otherwise they are irrelevant in Brooklyn.

  8. If I were Liam I would keep my cozy friendship with Mark Szuszkiewicz very quiet

  11. RESPONSE: THE "TRANSPARENTLY FAKE NEWS BY SOME OF THE MORE HATEFUL BROOKLYN GOP TYPES THAT HATE FIRST, COMMENT SECOND AND NEVER GET AROUND TO GETTING ANYTHING RIGHT" EDITION

    TO: ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 7:42 AM"; "... AT 10:07 AM" & "... AT 10:29 AM"

    HOW CAN "368 PAPER BALLOTS" BE COUNTED AND RESULT IN A TOTAL OF VOTES THAT IS >>>377<<< ???

    ALSO, WHY WOULD >>>53<<< OF THOSE SO-CALLED "368" VOTERS VOTE FOR "VITO" AND NOT "NICOLE"; AND WHY WOULD >>>98<<< OF THOSE SO-CALLED "368" VOTERS VOTE FOR "MAX" AND NOT "ANDY" ?????

    THAT WOULD BE ONE VERY ANOMALOUS TRANCHE OF BALLOTS, INDEED --- IF ONLY IT WERE TRUE --- WHICH OBVIOUSLY IT IS NOT.....

    Pro-Ghorra, pro-Vito, anti-Nicole, anti-Liam McCabe --- hmmmm !!! --- Who could it be ? Who could it be ??? Who could it be ?????

    Possibly it's more than a single commenter..... Sometimes wonders never cease.....

  12. 10:07 must be the same guy who keeps posting the same fake news AND must be new to the party.

    I will re-post what I did on another article on this Blog.

    Lets see if I know my history - and please correct me if I am wrong:

    Eaton, during his almost 10 year tenure won:

    -Golden races every cycle-and that was a lot of races because Golden was a great elected official-one of the best I have ever worked with;
    -Congress races every cycle - Fossella, Grimm, Donovan;
    -elected Nicole to Assembly initially and then every cycle;
    -won a special with Cong Grimm;
    -won a special with Cong Turner; and
    -won a special with Sen Storobin - all great Republicans until the Dems stole away the last two seats in redistricting.

    Them are the facts and I think winning all those races would trump a few victories, two of which replaced the two he lost 2 years ago.

    Facts speak volumes ladies and gentlemen.

    Please let me know if these facts are wrong.

  14. Can anyone point out one Republican that craig got elected during his lackluster unremarkable time as county chair? Starobin was Liams thing and if craig was the chair nobody knew it. Martys re-elections also dont count as Marty had to take his valuable time to get rid of a lot of rust & rot including craig.

    So what did this nobody ever accomplish?

  15. Yeah Marty was such a genius that he couldn’t even best a newcomer like Gounardes that was so easy to beat in 2020.

  16. In response to 247, let’s just say Grimm, Fossella, Donovan, Turner, Malliotakis. Just to name a few Republicans. I guess you can’t read English too well.

    And Liam the drunk loser. Pls don’t give him credit for anything

  17. KCP did the list of political winners & losers. I noticed a line "major congrats goes to GOP leadership most notably Nicholas Chamberas who ran Vito's campaign from begining to end". Every news outlet has remarked about the Brooklyn GOP success except this blog. Everybody except gale.

  18. Craig was the beer Chairman we ever had. Better than this cheap suit bad hair guy that lies through his teeth and promises everything but never delivers

  19. Craig did 4 house closings in 2018.

  20. RESPONSE: THE "ONCE AND POSSIBLY FUTURE COUNTY LEADER" EDITION

    TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 2:47 PM"

    FIRST, FOR SOME PERSPECTIVE >>> I OPPOSED CRAIG EATON MUCH MORE THAN SUPPORTED HIM WHILE HE WAS KCRP CHAIRMAN, AKA GOP COUNTY LEADER..... AND PRESENTLY, HIS VERY ACTIVE SUPPORT FOR RATSO VITO BRUNO MIGHT RESULT I MY OPPOSING HIM AGAIN, AS I HAVE SAID AS A "MORAL IMPERATIVE".....

    NOW FOR THE MEAT AND POTATOES >>> CRAIG EATON WAS FAR FROM A "NOBODY" DURING HIS LONG TENURE A GOP COUNTY LEADER; THAT WAS TRUE WHEN I OPPOSED HIM --- AND --- WHILE I SUPPORTED HIM, HE REMAINED THE POWERFUL KCRP CHAIRMAN --- ALSO, EATON WAS NEITHER REMOVED NOR LOST RE-ELECTION AS THE KCRP CHAIRMAN BY MARTY GOLDEN OR ANYBODY ELSE.....

    Commenter "Anonymous said... at 1:37 PM" pretty much nailed it when it came to Eaton's successes. In addition, Craig Eaton had a real and functioning Executive Committee, along with a leadership team of effective and active Vice Chairpersons and committee heads.

    The real measure of Eaton's ability to wield POWER was his successful effort to hold the Kings County GOP Chairmanship in the face of Marty Golden's completely flawed and badly executed attempt at a coup in 2013. That overwhelming POWER was demonstrated again "In Spades" in 2015, when Eaton was able to deliver the Brooklyn GOP apparatus to his prior adversary, but more recently an ally against Marty Golden's faction, Executive Vice Chairman Arnaldo Ferraro. Ferraro was the lawfully elected by the Brooklyn GOP in 2015. Near the middle of 2016, a Brooklyn Democrat Judge enforced a deal made between Marty Golden and the Brooklyn Democrat leadership, and that Democrat Judge derisively replaced Chairman Ferraro with Ted Ghorra.

    The absence of Eaton's support, and the obvious impotence of Ghorra as the County Leader and the remnant of the Brooklyn GOP supporting Marty Golden was demonstrated for the world to see in the election of 2018 >>> the first competitive election after the Golden-Democrat deal to remove Eaton's chosen successor and the Eaton leadership team.

    In the four years that Ghorra has formally held the reins of the Brooklyn GOP, not only have several important elections been lost, no leadership team with a real and functioning Executive Committee, along with effective and active Vice Chairpersons and committee heads from all around Brooklyn has been put into place.

    You are so on point

  22. Exit polls showed that voters didn't actually choose Vito Bruno or Steve Szukiwicz. They just blindly voted straight GOP down the entire ticket.
