Friday morning --- U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman said that former Vice President Joe Biden had contributed to the peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) only to the extent of being equally “hostile” to both sides while serving as the VP under President Obama
This is what Joe Biden had said:
"The coming together of Israel and Arab states builds on the efforts of multiple administrations to foster a broader Arab-Israeli opening, including the efforts of the Obama-Biden administration to build on the Arab Peace Initiative. I personally spent time with leaders of both Israel and UAE during our administration building the case for cooperation and broader engagement and the benefits it could deliver to both nations, and I am gratified by today’s announcement."
When told of Presidential Candidate Biden's claim for some of the credit, Ambassador Friedman explained that --- if Biden deserved any "credit" whatsoever, it was only to the extent of the Obama-Biden administration being so hostile to both Israel and the UAE that both sides realized they had to work together.
The U.S. Ambassador's exact words were:
“I think the credit that he [Biden] deserves is he was — they were so bad and so hostile to both Israel and the Emirates that it caused both of them to commiserate a little bit, which was something that we were able to take advantage of when the president [Trump] took office.... So, to that extent, I think the Obama policy was so terrible that it probably created more of a commonality of interest between Israel and the Emirates....”
BACKGROUND
Ambassador David Friedman has been instrumental in several achievements in U.S. Middle Eastern policy during the administration of President Trump. Those achievements include: the relocation of the U.S. Embassy to Israel into Jerusalem; the recognition of Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights; the withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal; the offer of a new Middle East peace plan, which allows Israeli sovereignty throughout Judea and Samaria, aka "The West Bank”: and the creation of several; new pro-U.S. Arab alliances that facilitates the recognition of Israel in the region.
Just typical Joe Biden! He is a chronic and habitual plagiarist, and credit lifter.
ReplyDeleteWill Biden be granting pardons?
ReplyDelete- Kevin Clinesmith
Former VPs can't grant pardons. That's all that Biden will ever be.
ReplyDeleteWas Kevin Clinesmith's plea deal based upon a cooperation agreement and an offer of proof and an affidavit or sworn testimony?
ReplyDeleteLow level guy pleads guilty with no sentencing date. That means Clinesmith will be sentenced after he testifies against Comey.
ReplyDeleteWhen a lawyer pleads guilty it means hes guilty.
ReplyDeleteIf this goes up as far as Comey expect to see others along the way. That includes McCabe.
ReplyDeleteUPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "AND THEN A DOG BARKED" EDITION
ReplyDeleteIT'S NOT JUST SHERLOCK HOLMES THAT NEEDS TO TAKE NOTE WHEN DOGS BARK OR DON'T BARK AT CERTAIN TIMES --- ESPECIALLY WHEN THE BARKING DOG MIGHT REALLY BE SOMEBODY DOG WHISTLING FOR SOMETHING ELSE ENTIRELY.....
For some reason, Obama DOJman and Managing Attorney for the Mueller probe, Andrew Weissman, has tried to insert himself between Kevin Clinesmith and U.S. Attorney John Durham's probe by asserting that Clinesmith's alteration of an E-mail was not materially "false" and thus not a crime.
What is not clear is why a key person in the Mueller probe is leaping headlong into a peripheral aspect of the Durham probe in this way at this time.
A lawyer very much in the know about the investigations of the misuse of the U.S. security agencies by the Obama-Biden administration has has said that Kevin Clinesmith knows "where the bodies are buried" at the FBI, and that anybody in the FBI who worked on or supervised the anti-Trump operations in 2016 and 2017 needs to be worried right now.
