By refusing to own her part in the Brooklyn Bridge violence, Nicole Malliotakis is trying an old trick that worked for Josef Stalin for so many years --- just chuck it into the >>> MEMORY HOLE <<<
The article posted on Nicole Malliotakis' Campaign website describing her part in the >>> The Battle of Brooklyn Bridge <<< couldn't possibly be more underhanded and deceitful; in fact, it is a page taken out of the Nazi propagandist Josef Goebbel's >>> BIG LIE <<< playbook
Here is Nicole's take on what she thought YOU should know about what happened last Wednesday >>> and this is verbatim [but without imbedded video or photos] >>>

BY TEAM NICOLE ON JUL 15, 2020

[Video of speeches by various participants --- with deposed former State Senator Marty Golden looking on silently]
.... Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis joined with clergy, law enforcement and the public in a march across the Brooklyn Bridge to New York’s City Hall on Wednesday morning, calling for an end to gun violence and in support of of the NYPD.
Watch Assemblywoman Malliotakis discussing the march with Bishop Gerald Seabrook of the Rehobat Cathedral and President Ed Mullins of the NYPD-Sergeants Benevolent Association:

QUICK BACKFILL: THE "HIJACK THEORY" EDITION
ReplyDeleteALSO VERY QUICKLY AFTER >>> THE BATTLE OF BROOKLYN BRIDGE <<< WAS A REPORT IN THE "GOTHAMIST" --- WHICH CLAIMED THAT THE BROOKLYN BLACK CLERGY PEACE MARCH WAS HIJACKED BY PRO-POLICE UNION ACTIVISTS, CERTAIN POLITICIANS AND EVEN THE NYPD ITSELF; AND THAT SEVERAL OF THE PEACE MARCH ORGANIZERS COMPLAINED THAT THE MARCH WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE A PRO-POLICE MARCH
Needless to say, neither Nicole M. or Marty G. had anything to say about Jake Offenhartz report in the Gothamist (See "Blue Lives Matter Protesters And NYPD "Hijacked" A Black-Led Prayer March, Organizers Say" by Jake Offenhartz, 7/15/2020, Gothamist/ News [https://gothamist.com/news/blue-lives-matter-protesters-and-nypd-hijacked-black-led-prayer-march-organizers-say]).
Gale I feel sorry for you. You are losing any little credibility you have left. The Police didn't hijack anything. The March was coordinated with the Police Unions and the Churches they are friendly with via Tony Herbert. There are other angles of this story you could have captured but since you mostly have left wing nut job sources, you wouldn't know.
ReplyDeleteHow does Catholic Charities continue to employ Marty Golden the race baitor?
ReplyDeleteRESPONSE: THE "SPIN -- SPIN -- SPIN, YOU DERVISH OF DECEPTION" EDITION
ReplyDeleteTO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 2:49 PM"
WHAT SAY. THAT I WORRY ABOUT MY CREDIBILITY AND YOU WORRY ABOUT YOURS.....
LET ME NOTE THAT YOUR SOURCE IS THE POLICE-FRIENDLY FOX NEWS FEED AND THE CLOSELY AFFILIATED NY POST
In spite of your spin focusing on a marginal player, Tony Herbert, several of the march organizers were surprised at the multitude of pro-police groups that showed up at their parade --- but the same organizers criticized the cops for clearing the bridge of counter-demonstrators in advance of their crossing --- instead, they said they would have invited them to join the line of march with the Brooklyn Church marchers. Now, that could have been very interesting.....
I guess the cops thought clearing the bridge and a violent confrontation would work better --- and no doubt the likes of Marty Golden, Nicole Malliotakis and Vito Bruno agreed. Too bad it turned out so badly..... Gee, who could have seen that coming ?????

ReplyDeleteTony Herbert makes Sliwa look like a player.
ReplyDeletecapano started everything.
ReplyDeleteFrom the very beginning Bob Capano has been using his newspaper column to be the Jingo drum beater in favor of a muscular Trumpian 'dominate the streets' approach to law and order in response to the recent unrest in our cities.
ReplyDeleteAlso Capano seems very comfortable in his newly emerging alliance with Marty Golden and some of the old Golden crowd.
Marty Golden endorsed Marco Kepi. Marco lost Marty's own Election District. Marty is done. Why anyone is still talking about him is beyond me.

ReplyDeleteSo what is wrong with Capano wanting law and order in our streets exactly??
His alliances with John Cats, Curtis Sliwa, and now Marty Golden again show he is the kingmaker of Brooklyn GOP politics

ReplyDelete549, Bob Capano's jingoism has egged on confrontations and violence that has led to the humiliation of the NYPD and several injuries to police officers.
ReplyDeleteBob's alliances are with a bunch of losers and has beens.
Capano is the Burger King maker
ReplyDeleteThe purpose of police isn't law and order.
ReplyDeleteThe purpose of police is to guarantee citizens the freedom to exercise their rights, from demonstrating against tyranny, to visiting a museum, to going for a walk in the park.
"Law and order" is all too often political code for a compliant, obedient population. Just like you'll find in North Korea or any other totalitarian state.
641, so says you! Obviously, you are a bent pointer stick, and you obviously have been brought up by somebody that used a bent pointer stick to teach you.
ReplyDeletePolice are bad arbiters of the law, because that isn't their job; so to that extent, you could be right that 'The purpose of police isn't law and order.' However, the principal job of the police is to maintain order, and sometimes that means 'enforcing' the law as they see it.
You need to understand that cops are the government's lowest level enforcers. Even in the platinum plated NYPD, they are no more than society's paid thugs, put in uniforms to fight other thugs that aren't in uniforms. And for that reason, most of the time, the cops need be kept on a short tight leash. But, in times like these, they need to be unleashed to follow their pit bull instincts and to attack the mobs of thugs in the streets and tear out their throats.
Times like these?
ReplyDeleteThe only reason the demonstrations are an issue is because cops are throwing a nationwide hissy fit, and refusing to do their job. They are bent out of shape because they are no longer allowed to choke people.
Here in New York, the NYPD got conned by the Mob, who used elaborate street operations to lure the cops away from high end stores, which were then systematically picked clean by teams in BMWs and Mercedes.
Cops need to be in better shape and learn real marshal arts, so they can lose the chokeholds and headlocks.
ReplyDeleteAfter all, they are very well paid, in fact they are terribly overpaid for what they do, and their terms and conditions for retirement are positively and thoroughly unconscionable.
Real police reform means much smaller police forces and much better trained cops. De-funding the police is a very good start --- 20% across the board seems about right. Then get rid of all the bad cops, and that number is not 1%, it's a lot closer to 20%. And most of all society needs to defund the extorted and corrupt pension systems that spend more of the public fisc on yesteryear's cops than the ones actually working....
Cops are supposed to be public servants, get that "SERVANTS"; you know, the low-paid "help" that are there to clean up the messes; they NEVER are meant to be partners in anyway or in anything remotely related to the functions of their MASTERS; and absolutely they ought not to be the invited as guests at any of the parties thrown by their MASTERS.
BACKFILL: THE "NOT ALL REPUBLICANS SUPPORTED THE GOLDEN-MALLIOTAKIS 'LOOK AT ME - LOOK AT ME' PRO-POLICE RALLIES" EDITION
ReplyDeleteSOME REPUBLICANS OPENLY OPPOSED PARTICIPATING IN THE RALLIES, WHICH CAUSED SPIRITED AND SOMETIMES VIOLENT COUNTER-DEMONSTRATIONS
Not everyone in the Brooklyn GOP, who definitely see themselves as pro-police favored the Golden-Malliotakis pro-police rallies two weekends back.
Specifically, the Brooklyn Young Republican Club turned down an invitation to join in the rally in Dyker Heights. That's what the president of the Brooklyn Young Republicans, Joel Acevedo, said.
According to Acevedo, “Good police do not need defending..... You can be pro-police and still support accountability to a police system that perpetuates inequities in Black communities. They’re not mutually exclusive.”
Where is Liam? He is lucky he was at Wally World for the race riots back home because he would have been in jail now I have no dout
ReplyDeleteGalewyn, this is what I mean by digging deeper with your sources. Joel Acevedo is as much a Republican as you are a vegan PETA activist. Joel found a way to worm his way to the presidency of the YR's but he's a never Trumper part of the Lincoln project thinks the police are racist and supports defunding them.

ReplyDeleteCapano taking on Joel Acevedo on Twitter and his latest column slams Eric Adam's. NYC Republicans taking notice of his leadership!!
ReplyDeleteBob Capano has been on the outside looking in for a very long time. Nothing ever changes. He wasn't a factor in 2017, and he's less of a factor now.
ReplyDelete10am..
ReplyDeleteHahaha
Then why is he friends with the only 2 rep mayoral candidates mentioned so far in 2021, appears regularly now on John Cats' 77 WABC radio, and have a column publisher throughout Brooklyn
Nothing plus nothing plus nothing equals nothing, Bob.
ReplyDeleteNothing plus nothing plus nothing plus 6 stints in rehab + 3 firings equals nothing Liam.
