NYC Police are now the national focus of viral video of a daylight takedown of a tranny teenager, whose "arrest" looked more like a "kidnapping"

Why do our "preservers and protectors"  have to look so bad doing their job ???

City cops in New York are suddenly looking like the thugs of a South American junta of the '60s & '70s, who just roam the streets looking for people to "disappear"

And what were the charges  ---  criminal mischief and making graffiti

Mayor compared the scene to Portland, Oregon, and said it was the wrong time and place for the NYPD to arrest a protester and take them away in an unmarked van

Incident prompted Governor Cuomo to threaten defunding the NYPD

_______________________________

One of the most telling things about  >>> THIS INCIDENT <<<  is that the police brass,  "police professionals" in the media,  police unions and other pro-police types are all trying to defend what went down.....

_______________________________

According to one report,  "Several officers were hurt and one protester was put into an unmarked van and taken into custody. Fellow demonstrators said it looked like she was being abducted....  Kips Bay resident Kyle Landry was recording the peaceful march happening near his apartment and couldn’t believe the confrontation he caught on camera....  “I just saw a girl skateboarding down the street, she goes past a minivan and suddenly the doors burst open and they grab her and they shove her inside,” he said....  Nikki Stone, 18, spent the night in police custody but was released Wednesday morning with a desk appearance ticket...."  ( See "Mayor Says Wrong Time And Place For NYPD To Arrest Protester In Unmarked Van"  by John Diaz  & Lisa Rozner,  7/29/2020,  CBSNewsNY/ TV News Local     [https://newyork.cbslocal.com/2020/07/29/protester-nikki-stone-released-after-arrest-in-unmarked-van/]).

Nikki Stone was identified by friends as a transgender activist who has been experiencing homelessness.  She was released from a police precinct with a DAT around 1 a.m. Wednesday, and ordered to return to court at a later date to face charges of criminal mischief and making graffiti stemming from five alleged incidents over the last two months.

The CBS article went on to say this:   "Mayor Bill de Blasio addressed the incident Wednesday morning.  'A lot of us have been watching in pain what’s going on in Portland, Oregon,' he said. 'Anything that even slightly suggests that is, to me, troubling, and it’s the kind of thing we don’t want to see in this city....  I think it was the wrong time and the wrong place to effectuate that arrest,'  he added....  Gov. Andrew Cuomo said he was disturbed and called on the NYPD to build trust within the community....  'We’re not going to fund local governments in the next budget unless they do what is responsible,' he said...."

  6. Trump just announced the election may be postponed. That old guy in the basement is looking better with each tweet.

  7. Trump is making sense and just pushing back against the Democrats mail in voting schemes.

Trump is putting down his marker and telling everyone phony election results won't stand, so why wasted time conducting the phony election.

  8. Sliwa gave a powerful Mayoral campaign message on Facebook live last night..rave reviews..he also kicked ass at a Northern Queens GOP meeting last night..

  9. RESPONSE: THE "TRUMP EFFECT ON FULL VIEW" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 10:09 AM"; "... AT 10:30 AM"; & "... AT 11:08 AM"

EVERYBODY NEEDS TO CALM DOWN --- EVEN THE MAIN STREAM MEDIA REPORTS USED TERMS LIKE "FLOATS" AND "SUGGESTS" IN CONNECTION WITH TRUMP'S MENTION OF THE POSSIBLE NEED TO DELAY THE 2020 ELECTIONS

THERE WAS NO "ANNOUNCEMENT" --- THAT'S JUST TYPICAL LINCOLN PROJECT TYPE MISREPORTING, FAKE NEWS AND DOWNRIGHT LYING

This is no more than Trump re-negotiating the rules of political engagement for the rest of 2020 on terms more favorable to him.

This is all that has happened so far: President Donald Trump only hinted at a possible postponement of the November presidential election in one of his "Tweets" on Thursday ---

This is what Trump tweeted: “With Universal Mail-In Voting (not Absentee Voting, which is good), 2020 will be the most INACCURATE & FRAUDULENT Election in history. It will be a great embarrassment to the USA. Delay the Election until people can properly, securely and safely vote???"

I repeat >>> this is no more than Trump re-negotiating the rules of political engagement for the rest of 2020 on terms more favorable to him <<<

  13. CLARIFICATION: THE "OVERWHELMING NEED FOR A STRONG MAN TO BEAT BACK THE LEFT" EDITION

RE: MY COMMENT AT 12:04 PM ABOVE

THE TRUMP AUTHORITARIAN RESPONSE TO THE URBAN UNREST NEEDS TO HAVE A STEEL FIST INSIDE ANY SEMBLANCE OF A VELVET GLOVE

ELECTIONS ARE NOT APPROPRIATE WHEN THERE IS CHAOS AND DISORDER ACROSS THE LAND, AND SOME STATES ACTUALLY APPROACHING SEDITION AND REVOLT --- NEW AND REVOLUTIONARY METHODOLOGIES OF VOTING (LIKE UNIVERSAL MAIL IN VOTING) ARE PART AND PARCEL OF THAT CHAOS AND DISORDER, LEADING TO A BREACH OF FAITH IN THE ELECTORAL PROCESS

FOLLOWING ABRAHAM LINCOLN'S 1864 MODEL, IN 2020 STATES LIKE NEW YORK, ILLINOIS, CALIFORNIA, OREGON AND WASHINGTON MIGHT NOT BE ALLOWED TO VOTE TO SELECT PRESIDENTIAL ELECTORS IN 2020 UNLESS THEY CAN SHOW THAT THEY ARE NOT IN OPEN REVOLT FROM FEDERAL AUTHORITY, CAN AVOID VIOLENCE IN THE STREETS, AND SHOWING THAT THEY CAN CONDUCT ORDERLY ELECTIONS FOR ANY FEDERAL OFFICES WITH FAIR AND SIMPLY DISCERNIBLE RESULTS

BTW, THERE IS A CASE NOW PENDING IN THE SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF NY CHALLENGING NY'S BADLY PROMULGATED MAIL-IN BALLOTING FORMAT

  14. Good Lord on Earth! I just witnessed Bob Capano stuffing his face with a fistful of french fries outside the Wicked Monk. He was reading the Daily News. Is this his Camelot?

  17. So Ray Denaro ran as a rep in 2017, switched to Democratic Party because he felt couldn't win office as a Republican and now says he switched back to the GOP..got that??

    ReplyDelete
  18. Everybody worships Lincoln and he cancelled elections, arrested opposition leaders, shutdown newspapers. This is the history of the GOP.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Well, 949, at least Ray Denaro doesn't post anonymously.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Maybe Ray will now return to blogging here

  21. May wonders never cease!

  22. Updated to add: Deputy Mayor Capano seen stuffing his face with a fistful of french fries outside the Wicked Monk wasn't reading the Daily News but was in fact reading his own column in the Home Reporter.

  23. Ray thought he was the smartest but he wasnt the sharpest tool in the shed. He used the GOP then dumped the GOP and now wants to come back? So much for being a principled guy.

  24. Northern Queens GOP !!

Does Bob travel with a compass?

    ReplyDelete
  25. I have a question. Why is the pathetic Jonathan Judge still in the Brooklyn
YRs? Isn’t he old enough to be a grown up republican? And how many Brooklyn YRs are really young and satisfy the actual age requirement. I think the great singing Nocera is still in this group. What a disgrace. Grow up guys!!!

  30. If someone kidnapped Coleen, do you think Marty would pay the ransom?

  31. Wait til Trump bans the new Gristedes shopping app.

  33. I heard the election was cancelled.

    ReplyDelete
  34. He'd definitely pay. The question is, to release or keep her?

  35. Bob sits in an office a few doors from a billionaire hence the jealously

    ReplyDelete
  36. Speaking of Bob, he posted a video of the Whitestone GOP Club meeting earlier this week. There are very few masks in the crowd and no social distancing.

Why do Republicans think that social responsibility is not their responsibility, or that COVID-19 can only be spread by the Chinese and BLM protesters?

    ReplyDelete
  37. I heard Bob sits near Cats. Something about Cats spilling his diet coke and then Bob . . .

    ReplyDelete
  38. Judge, Nocera and the lot are all useless. They talk a big game but never accomplished anything at all. They are what 35 and still YRs. What a joke. Did anyone see or hear the Nocera tapes? If have them and will see if I can post them here

    THIS CLOSE /)(\ !!!!!

  40. Hey 1:24, he does sit a few doors down from a billionaire.

A billionaire who never maxed out or hosted any events for him in any of the races he's run since working there.

I passed Sophia Loren on 5th Avenue once. She never invited me to dinner either.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Lots of envy..the fact that Bob is close with and will be Deputy mayor to one of the 2 main rep mayoral candidates Sliwa or Cats obviously bothers lots of folks. To say this for one candidate is impressive enough but two...wow!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Envy?

No Republican will break 25% of the vote citywide next year, or any year, for decades.

Unless Gristedes restructures and renames its store managers as deputy mayors, Bob won't be anything of the kind.

    Why delude yourself?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Lets face it. We all think about Bob. All Bob all the time. After 2021 what will he do in 2022?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Can anyone name one NYC elected official Gerry O'Brien works for? The point is how long has it been since he actually won a race here. If ever??

  45. Bob may run for Mayor.

He'll mop the floor with his opponents.
