Jerrold Nadler seemed completely out of it when he said that ANTIFA is a Washington D.C. myth

Congressman Nadler represents a sliver of lower Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights,  along with a significant part of Bensonhurst that used to vote Republican  ---  In many ways he's as much a Southwest Brooklyn Congressman as Max Rose  ---  so why doesn't the Brooklyn GOP make a bigger deal about taking on Nadler  ---  at least on the issues  ???


Case in point  ---   Nadler's recent refusal to disavow destructive rioters generally;  tied in with his equally troubling outright denial concerning the very existence of ANTIFA


At this stage of national urban unrest,  New York City is only momentarily better off than many other cities, most notably Portland, Oregon;  Seattle, Washington and Chicago, Illinois  ---  so, having a benighted character like Jerrold Nadler tinkering with the levers of power as one of OUR representatives should be a matter of more than passing interest and concern

In the past few weeks, we have seen how quickly things could boil over in Bay Ridge involving BLM and ANTIFA types counter-demonstrating against the puny efforts of Marty Golden and Nicole Malliotakis to get some popular support for their side.  Much of that happened in an area represented in Congress by Jerrold Nadler.  So why no attempt to put Nadler's feet in the fire ?????

The answer is simple,  nobody in the Brooklyn GOP has a clue how to engage the Democrats in the 21st Century  ---  instead they are frozen in the era of "Long Ago and Far Away."

I just saw some interesting video of Jerrold Nadler being accosted and questioned on the street.  His speech and demeanor were indicative of a man who is quite unwell ---  he waddle-walked like a penguin,  and he was barely able to make a verbal utterance.  Thus his non-sensical answers about the rioters and ANTIFA sort of fit the moment perfectly.

In the bigger national picture, Nadler is an Achilles' Heel  ---  but nobody is around to do the Paris number on him.

I'll say it again,  the Brooklyn GOP needs to master the art and science of asymmetric  guerrilla  warfare  ---  the Brooklyn parts of Nadler's district are perfect to wage that fight.
