All the candidates that just won't go away..... Or is it the 2017 City Council race that just won't go away ???

Let's agree that Justin Brannan won his primary against "the Reverend" Khader El-Yateem and some others  ---  and then Brannan went on to defeat the GOP candidate John Quaglione  ---  who had himself won a Republican primary against the likes of Bob Capano, Liam McCabe and Lucretia Regina-Potter

Everybody above, except Brannan, should have exhausted their fifteen minutes of fame long ago  ---  but this bunch needs to be renamed in line with one of the more recent "living dead" movies or cable TV serials

And now another precinct is about to be heard from  ---  on Sunday at the Alpine movie theater there will be a screening of a documentary about the 2017 City Council run by "the Reverend" Khader El-Yateem and the Democratic political club he left behind, which appears to be now claiming some of the credit for the defeats of Republicans Marty Golden and Dan Donovan

More when I get it.....

  1. First Bob, now El-Yateem's guys. Surprised Barkan hasn't claimed credit too.

NO ONE BEAT MARTY, EXCEPT MARTY. AND THERE'S $312,000 IN AN ACCOUNT TO PROVE IT.

  2. The amount of money a couple of Marty’s consultants got paid could have paid for more campaign workers than Max Rose and Andrew Gounardes teams combined.

  3. Is Lucretia getting a reality show?

  4. Hey Jerry, if you are such a great and brilliant political op, why didnt you guys spend every last dime to get the old Man re-elected. Seems pretty stupid that he lost by 1000 votes and the $ 312 K could have put him over the top.

Did you lose your mind or are you just incompetent?

Either way there are lots of people cheering that the crooks finally lost and are now unemployed.

If you need a few bucks give me a call.

  5. A fraction of that $300,000 could have turned around the 1,200 votes they needed, and still paid for a victory party at the Manor with the full buff.

  6. "Gosh, the libs don't like Marty, and there's only so many conservative voters. If only there was something we could do to change people's minds, like a campaign of some kind."

  7. Elyateem only lost once and he got a movie! Where is the Quaglione documentary? Poor guy lost twice! Quaglione deserves a biopic

  8. Marty and his misfits must be kicking themselves
To leave $300,000 on the table and loose by 1,000 votes?
He could have won if Jerry hadn't told him to keep his powder dry to pay Chip Cafiero
I looked at the filings and boy O boy did Michael Tobman get paid a fortune to loose one helluva campaign

  9. Just look at the people who got paid the most on Marty's Jerry led and assembled campaign and you see why he lost.

  14. RESPONSE: THE "IT IS SO ANNOYING TO HAVE TO REPEAT MYSELF" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 3:35 PM"

I TOLD YOU BEFORE THIS TOBMAN-ADLER DEAL IS A SCAM WITH LOTS OF $$$$ GOING STRAIGHT BACK INTO MARTY G'S POCKET ALL LAUNDERED AND PRESSED SO IT FOLDS NICELY.....

Why don't you people listen [read] more attentively ???

Even for Marty, $300,000+ makes a nice little emolument if he can turn it over without getting caught.

  15. That's the problem with local GOP organizations. Some of these fees being collected by consultants and some of these thinly veiled "service contracts" could have paid for the size of a grassroots army that would have dwarfed the Rose-Gounardes operation. Instead of the convenient explanations about running more diverse candidates which we did, it's time to start looking where all this money is going and being wasted.
