HAS THE BROOKLYN GOP BEEN REDUCED TO THIS ???

A ROBO-CALL:   [An unidentified voice]  "....  Vote for your Republican candidates [no names, offices or districts mentioned]...."  ---  then it got ominous  ---  "We are under attack [no details given as to the nature of the "attack"]....  Fight to save your way of life  [no tactics or strategies are suggested]...."  ---  except a repeat of  ---  "Vote for your Republican Candidates [but still no names, etc.]...."  ---  and the sign off  ---  "...  The [Brooklyn or Kings County ] Republican Committee."

I got this call cold at home, so this is from my memory soon afterward.....

Words cannot express;  so I'm just askin'  ---  really ???

I mean  ---  REALLY ! ! ! ! !

  1. Gail, this came after State Senator Marty Golden's spox gave his paid campaign boss Ian Reilly "a vote of confidence...". That put him at odds with the top of the ticket statewide, GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Marc Molinaro, the top of the ticket locally, Congressman Dan Donovan, and several other top NYS & NYC GOP elected and party officials. So the "under attack" could mean by other parts of the GOP.

Are Golden and Ghorra "going rogue"?

    ReplyDelete
  2. No, 5:00 AM, 'enemies' is straight out of the Ian Reilly and 'Proud Boys' playbook. It means Antifa, their Radical Democrat supporters and facilitators and their Weimar Democrat enablers.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Leave Ghorra out of this he doesn’t know what he’s doing and he’s a puppet. He may be a good lawyer but clearly he’s in over his head. Golden campaign a total disaster Gail should do a little inquiring about how the Upper East Side psycho couple have been formally hired by the campaign. Ian, Alexandra, and Robert have all worked on the same miserable failure campaigns together in the past. Makes sense that they would come together for this one too. GM you might also have some fun finding out how in coming to the fast and furious defense of Ian, they threw almost everyone else under the bus.

  4. With Eaton we had an office , volunteers , campaign operations

With Ghorra we have no office, no volunteers, no operations, and a couple of Upper East Side psyhos who are by the way destroying any chance Saperstein has so they will be o for 4 in Brooklyn races in 2 years..and the only reason they are now in bklyn instead of Manhattan is because Andrea Cats booted them...Ghorra should do one good thing and do the same.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Sounds like a very effective GOTV call.

When was the last time a robo call had this impact?

    ReplyDelete
  6. 8:11 What Steve Saperstein and the Steeplechase psychos are doing to that young man Joe in the Bay Ridge office is disgusting. He is working his tail off while the rest of them take pictures for insta and update their social media. Ghorra is Jerry's puppet we all know this. So I think it's kind of unfair to keep attacking him, he has to help Liam and do what Jerry tells him or he'll be booted next year. That ridiculous robo call is classic Jerry, they are stuck in the 1980's as if there are enough Republicans left in the county to care that "we are being attacked". Although my favorite idiotic move of the last 24 hours is Tobman responding to press inquiries about the Proud Boys and Marty Golden by saying that Ian Reilly is a "friend". The reporter's next question to him should have been is his salary commensurate with how clueless he is.

  7. Kassar, Quaglione, Kepi and all those who have never had a real job in their life are shitting themselves about Marty losing

    ReplyDelete
  8. Doesn’t Ed Cox have any real power or interest in Marty’s Senate race? Or is he the one who actually sent us over Tobman and the Steeplechase psychos while everybody blames Jerry? This campaign is in serious trouble.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Win or lose, Kepi, Liam, Quglione, Serevalli, the whole gang will be out of a job in 2019 when Marty's in the minority.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Nobody thinks Gournardes will win

    ReplyDelete
  11. Everyone th inks Gournades will win

    ReplyDelete
  12. Who is this Joe, and what are the psychos doing to him?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Blast! When I say "buggery," I mean B-U-G-G-E-R-Y.

Should have known. Those psychos are from M-A-N-H-A-T-T-A-N, and Manhattan means "buggery" in Native American.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Where did Bobby Thompson's home run happen? Manhattan, what more proof do you need.
    It's buggery.
    Buggery, I say!

    ReplyDelete
  15. The "Brooklyn GOP" had nothing to do with the robo call or anything else.

    ReplyDelete
  16. At the end of the call you hear “paid for by Kings County Republican Party”.

    ReplyDelete
  17. With Ghorra's GOP we have crazy robo calls and Upper East psychos..bring back Eaton

    ReplyDelete
  18. The robo calls are part of a conspiracy involving The Clintons, George Soros, Kathy Griffin and Ronan Freakin Sinatra all designed to drag down Saperstein.

    ReplyDelete
  19. The psychos had Saperstein in Queens today

    ReplyDelete
  20. Can someone please tell Marty Golden to tell his idiot staffers and hangers on to stop talking about the Proud Boys on social media? What part of this only keeps stoking the fires and keeps the issue alive do they not understand? I know Tobman and Kassar aren’t rocket scientists but they should reign the idiots in. Stop talking about proud boys and how antifa started it. It’s an argument that you even if you win you wind up losing.

    ReplyDelete
  21. 6;49 has such wisdom. Keep in mind Marty has never lost but i'm sure you know best.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Keep in mind any Republican who comes close to losing in this district has idiots for campaign staff since it has squeezed together as many Republicans as possible in a seat gerrymandered so overtly and flagrantly that it wouldn’t survive a court challenge. But you guys are doing such a “great” job dealing with an opponent to the left of Obama that for all of our sake I’m relying on you knowing better than I do.

    ReplyDelete
  23. In a few weeks the only names people will remember when you say "Marty" will be Ernest Borgnine and Paddy Chayevsky.

    ReplyDelete
  24. If you support FBBR Andy is the one.

    ReplyDelete
  25. What will you people do after Marty wins?

  27. RESPONSE: THE "WHAT >>> I'LL <<< DO" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 12:10 AM"

I MENTIONED IT BEFORE; HOWEVER, NOW IT'S A PROMISE --- IF MARTY WINS RE-ELECTION, I'LL MOVE OUT OF BAY RIDGE !!! --- WHAT THE HECK --- I'LL MOVE OUT OF BROOKLYN !!!!!

IF RUSSELL GALLO & GENE BERADELLI CAN DO IT, THEN SO CAN I

    Let's wait and see.....

At rate, I will have out-stayed Walter O'Malley and the "BROOKLYN" DODGERS by sixty (60) years, if I have to go now.....

    ReplyDelete
  28. GM that’s your problem. As a Republican I’d like to stay where I am but if Andrew Gounardes wins he’s more liberal than Justin can ever dream of being. New York will become a sanctuary state and go bankrupt much like California is about to do. Time to circle the wagons around Golden and resolve personal grievances after he keeps the seat in Republican hands.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Another benefit of Golden losing is that Brooklyn will also be rid of the Upper East Side psychos once and for all, just like Manhattan

    ReplyDelete
  30. 6:59 is obviously a comment by Alexandra or Robert as they are clearly obsessed with themselves. Golden isn't losing. Him winning will be despite Jerry Kassar shoving the Steeplechase psychos down Golden's throat. They did however cost Golden getting the Reform party line, they cost Saperstein any chance of getting support from Donovan who probably could have helped raise at least another sorely needed $50,000 for Saperstein. Oh and don't worry Alexandra and Robert, we know you're not going anywhere if Golden loses, you'll always find some gullible schnook to sink your tentacles into.

    ReplyDelete
  31. 643am
That's your problem, if Golden and his staff had any intention of "resolving personal grievances" they would have done it before the election..they will not do after..if they win, they will just continue to attack anonymously on Twitter and wherever any and all perceived opponents, whether they by Denocrats, Republicans or Reform Party...so why would we rally around him?????

    ReplyDelete
  32. 6:43 I understand your perspective but I am Republican who wants to grow the Brooklyn GOP not annihilate it as revenge against Golden. To be sure after this election it is high time to fight back against the thuggery of certain people in his office. Even if Golden wins he is weakened even if he wins by 15, this district is drawn as a firewall against any liberal opponent no matter how well funded and articulate. Golden's inner circle has run the worst campaign imaginable. If Golden loses all that means is best case scenario we become the Bronx and control the county party we will never win another office again.

    ReplyDelete
  33. 804
If Golden wins, how do you "fight back", Golden and Kepi and others will be more emboldened than ever and seek even more revenge and power...and around around we go

    ReplyDelete
  34. 804am
There are some good Republicans like Malliotakis out there but they have been unwilling to stand up to Golden shenanigans and fall in line with Golden and Kassar..if your saying they may be willing to sing a different tune soon, them maybe u have a point

    ReplyDelete
  35. 8:46 If Golden wins he's up for re-election in another two years not exactly a lot of time. The days when he had absolute power are gone no matter what happens in this election. Golden can be called a lot of things but he's survived this long because he has strong political instincts and savvy. If the idiots around him try to resort to the usual payback it only makes sure they lose their jobs after the next election and they would be smart to make as few enemies as possible. And if you want to talk wrath forget it if Gounardes and his team win, they make Justin look non partisan and benevolent.

    ReplyDelete
  36. 8:40 Malliotakis is owned lock stock and barrel by Jerry Kassar. She talks a good game but he controls her completely much more than he could dream of controlling Donovan. She'll do what he says how he says as soon as he says.

    ReplyDelete
  37. 901
You are exactly right ..I heard the same thing..why else would she let Kassar have carte Blanche over her mayoral campaign..if Marty loses and Jerry is out, maybe it will allow Nicole to exercise some independent leadership in the Brooklyn GOP

    ReplyDelete
  38. Anybody who has spent five minutes with her knows she can't think for herself, Jerry can move to Florida she'll be calling him to ask what she should have for breakfast. I've heard she gets along a lot better with him than Marty.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Golden always wins.

    Always

    ReplyDelete
  40. That's the same thing Joe Crowley said. Or was it Jesse Hamilton?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Everyone know Marty is in charge of the Brooklyn GOP and Malliotakis and her troll Chamberas fall in line..

    ReplyDelete
  42. It’s obvious to all that 12:07 is a Marty hater looking to
start trouble with the candidates. All of the Electeds get along well. And anybody who can actually take the time to correctly spell Chamberas has waaaaaaayyyy too
much free time and and should at least find someone a little higher up in the totem pole to disparage. Just saying.

    ReplyDelete
  43. As long as Nicole takes orders from kassar and Golden she can share Marty's Bay Ridge office

    ReplyDelete
  44. And why wouldnt Nicole take orders from Kassar and Golden? Jerry is the boss and Marty is a State Senator.

    ReplyDelete
  45. 1:35 has a good point. In 2013 Marty and Jerry literally kicked her out of the government office that they share when she endorsed John Catsimatidis. They actually took her name off of the door. Now “Boss” Jerry and Senator Martin are scared shit that John will get his revenge by backing Gounardes.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Does anyone really think Capano would have given Gournades the Reform line without talking to Cats first.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Marty was never going to get the reform line. If Marty loses by 2% then bob has the last laugh.

    ReplyDelete
  48. If Golden needed the reform line he would have had it.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Win or lose
    The Golden Days are over
He doesn't run Bay Ridge any longer
Golden hasn't run Bay Ridge since The Greek beat him back in 2012

    ReplyDelete
  50. Does anybody remember that the next day response by the Golden campaign staff to Fight Back Bay Ridge after FBBR was politicking at the first 'Stroll on Third' was to compare them to ANTIFA and to threaten violence at the second stroll if they showed up to do it again.

Since we now have him on the record with the 'Proud Boys' fiasco at the Met Republican Club, it seems safe to say that violence or threats of violence seems to be part of the Ian Reilly touch.

Marty Golden has brought that stink and stain to Bay Ridge; and he refuses to remove it.

    ReplyDelete
  51. 10:26 must begin his day hooked up to jumper cables. A Tom Eagleton democrat.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Marty was telling every one for past year he had Reform line in the bag . Now, after he didn't get it the Golden cronies say he never wanted it...

    ReplyDelete
  53. Fight Back Bay Ridge dreams of bringing Antifa to Bay Ridge. They already brought the socialists from Manhattan to protest in favor of the “crack hotel” the developers are trying to build across from the Elementary School. The myth that this is some sort of good government group looking to help the community has been allowed to stand because I have no idea—wake up Golden Campaign and let people what Mallory and her grifters are really up to.

    ReplyDelete
  54. There are SRO crack dens at several locations in State Senator Marty Golden's district already - some are even near schools. Most have been there a long time. So stop the crap about FBBR wanting something that's offensive to your deluded NIMBY notions.

    ReplyDelete
  55. It's funny to hear all this chatter about the Democrat Socialists bringing in people from Manhattan when the only people I know who are coming in from Manhattan are the ones running Steve Saperstein's flailing campaign.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Where in Manhattan do they have Steve campaigning this weekend?

    ReplyDelete
  57. 7:03 thank you for confirming that Fight Back Bay Ridge has been fighting in favor of building the crack motel across from the Elementary School. After all it is your right to express support as it is FBBR right to support the crack motel. Just glad it’s out in the open now.

    ReplyDelete
  58. How late is the crack hotel opened? And do they take VISA?

    ReplyDelete
  59. Does Saperstein and his crack staff know it's less than 3 weeks to election day??? Very quiet

    ReplyDelete
  60. Marty, Donovan and Saperstein are cruising to victory. Liam has shown that he can put it all together.

    ReplyDelete
  61. First Donovan wants nothing to do with Liam after he ran Grimm's losing bklyn campaign but if want to tie Liam to Saperstein and Golden, when they both lose he will be 0 for 4 in a year counting his own loss in the GOP primary and Grimm's HUGE loss

    ReplyDelete
  62. Why was Saperstein in Staten Island today??

    ReplyDelete
  63. Saperstein has a very weak opponent and may actually pull out a win. They’re hoping to use Golden’s ground game to make it look good for Steeplechase who independently couldnt pull out Republicans if they were at an NRA convention.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Everyone know steeple chase sucks

    ReplyDelete
  65. Liam will be o for 4 and back to rehab

    ReplyDelete
  66. Liam will be our congressman someday.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Neither in this world nor any parallel universe will Liam McCabe ever be a congressman. He is pretty much done in elective politics --- too many demons for somebody that isn't a Kennedy.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Frontus is the modern version of a 'welfare queen'; she runs a not-for-profit out of her apartment.

    ReplyDelete
  69. There is only so many times people can listen to Liams railroad tracks dad story and battles with demons followed by more binges and rehab after every loss...expect another after th is election day when Sap loses

    ReplyDelete
  70. Liam has a patronage job with De Blasio ..that will go over well with Republicans

    ReplyDelete
  71. capano has a job with moping floors for a guy who tried to run against Diblasio...that will go over well the floor mopers union.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Isn't Mccabe in law enforcement with the TLC police. that's a job you test for, no? He left the hack patronage job when he ran for council and got a job as a taxi driver. gotta give respect to that at least. All the hacks ran for council. Capano was a hack for the billionaire Cats (and still is), Quaglione was a hack for Golden (and still is) and Brannan was a hack for DeBlasio (and still is, Liam seems like the only one of these wannabes beholden to no one. Lets see how this "new" republican club turns out.

    ReplyDelete
  73. 412
If true Liam got his first real job (not a k assar hack job or political one) in his 40's..congrats

    ReplyDelete
  74. Chairman, Business Executive, Professor, Columnist Capano- we love u

New taxi driver McCabe is ok too!

    ReplyDelete
  75. Is Liam still living on his girlfriend's mothers couch ?

    ReplyDelete
  76. McCabes club could be a powerhouse. Who else is involved and where is it located? It says Marty and Sapersien are going.

    ReplyDelete
  77. To answer your questions, who else is involved- the Manhattan Upper East Side pychos..

Where is it located- Mccabea girlfriend's mom's house, where he lives.

  78. RESPONSE: THE "AND NOW, REDUCED TO THIS....." EDITION

TO ALL OF THE COMMENTERS ABOVE WHO STUMBLED ONTO THIS TRUTH --- ANY MAIN POST ON THIS BLOG THAT HAS AS ITS TITLE --- "HAS THE BROOKLYN GOP BEEN REDUCED TO THIS ???" --- MUST GET AROUND TO A DISCUSSION OF THE ISSUE OF >>> LIAM MC CABE <<<

NONE OF WHAT FOLLOWS IS INTENDED TO TALK ABOUT THE REAL LIAM AS A PERSON --- I WOULD BE BOTH BUMPTIOUS AND PRESUMPTUOUS TO DO SO, SINCE I DON'T KNOW VERY MANY OF THE FACTS OF LIAM'S LIFE AND I AM NOT CLOSE TO HIM IN ANY SOCIAL CONTEXT

HOWEVER, AT LEAST ON THIS BLOG, "LIAM MC CABE" IS A "REGULAR" AMONG OUR DRAMATIS PERSONAE --- BUT --- HE IS EVEN MORE THAN SUCH A PERSONA, HE IS AN AVATAR

AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME --- "LIAM MC CABE" REPRESENTS BOTH THE HOPE AND THE FOLLY OF THE BROOKLYN REPUBLICAN PARTY GOING FORWARD

Forget the BS about Liam's "DEMONS"..... Winston Churchill had plenty of demons, and failures, and follies --- including a very problematic dead father..... However, Winnie had the will to power, along with fortitude, resilience and eventually even the gods on his side.

Now, now, now, don't say it, Captain Obvious --- "LIAM IS NO CHURCHILL"..... I KNOW THAT, because I knew Churchill, Churchill was a friend of mine..... And certainly, Liam is no Churchill.....

But nothing stops Liam from doing this: take some pages from Churchill's book(s) and be Churchillian --- offer to lead the Brooklyn GOP away from the likes of Mike Long, Jerry Kassar and other of his recent NYSCP "friends" and mentors..... Also away from Marty Golden and the whole Golden cabal.inside the GOP. YES, LIAM, BITE THE HAND THAT FED YUH..... Churchill was a master at that..... Liam needs to offer and promise the Brooklyn Republicans that are left only this: "...Blood, sweat, toil and tears..." to rebuild the party and lead it into a future with a little hope and some follies too, but always something to look forward to.

    ReplyDelete
  79. The Upper East Siders are Mccabes creation (and problem) and they are now all over the GOP in SI and Bk and Manhattan. (Castorina, Grimm, Malliotakis, Golden, Saperstein, Levin Ashermen, ect) Add Queens if you count their link to Ulrich and Holden.

If the GOP goes down in Brooklyn you can blame mccabe but if they all incumbents win win and the pyschos even take a solid dem seat (46th AD) and elect Saperstein then they will be the new kings. King Psycho and the Upper East Siders will be the new leaders of the party like it or not.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Liam was, is , and will always be a puppet of Kassar and Long

    ReplyDelete
  81. I thought so too but when he backed Michael Grimm and went against Kassar, Long, Marty, Fran, Donovan, Saperstein, Nicole, Gorra and every other elected and party offical in NYC -Liam McCabe basically said he "I do not give a F_ck"... That takes brass balls.
I thought he would be toast but Marty has him in his office and marching with him on 3rd ave.. Marty probably respects that he has guts. Mccabe may not be Churchill but he is is own man.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Wrong..Liam worked for Grimm with Kassae, Long blessing ..it was their idea to ensure a role in Grimm's office if he won..played the middle of both sides

    ReplyDelete
  83. Out of all the local Republicans he is the most active it seems. Especially the city council Primary group like Potter, Quaglione and Capano. They all promised us to lead the GOP - in walks Liam (and the East Siders). Ha!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Well then Kassar is a Genius.

    ReplyDelete
  85. In walks Liam until he is off to rehab again after his candidates lose on election day.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Kassar and McCabe still close so maybe that is true. But with how hard Kasssar came after and crushed Grimm I doubt they wanted to take any chances with Grimm winning. Kassar might have been ok with McCabe but if Grimm won he would have exacted revenge. Kassar is smart but if he were trying to back Grimm through McCabe he would have been less hostile to Grimm. Kassar always wins and places safe bets not crazy ones.

    ReplyDelete
  87. I hear Veronica and John Lawson are pissed that Liam starting a new club to compete with them. More division!!

    ReplyDelete
  88. Fake News 7:59
Because Rumor has it the Pawsons are either merging their club with Mccabe or at least joining. Smart for McCabe and Pawsons if true.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Liam on top?
You mean his big loss to John Q??

Or his big loss with Grimm against Donovan

Or his big loss with Saperstein in a couple of weeks???

    ReplyDelete
  90. Perhaps Liams new club will have the same success as his mow defunct south bklyn conservative club??

    ReplyDelete
  91. Sap will win. Stop hating. We get that you hate Liam.. But your hatred of Sap and anyone doing well shows lack of character.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Can anyone name one instance where Liam has come out on top or succeeded other than most stints in rehab or getting his first real job in his 40s?
He lives on his girlfriend's mom's couch for Christs sake because of his demons he has no finances, stability, etc

    ReplyDelete
  93. Liam may have demons but from what we have seen he cleaned up his act pretty well. Getting help may have been part of that. Just saying. They guy has his act together and his competitors dont look so well.. physically, financially or politically.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Problem is we all have heard the song and dance Bout Liam getting help and getting his act together 4x in the past 3 years

You don't need a crystal ball to know what will happen after his candidate loses this election

    ReplyDelete
  95. Maybe some will take Liam seriously when he lives in his own home and not shacking with his girlfriend's mom.

I dont know about Liam doing better than Quaglione ..Q has his own house with a wide and kids, is financially stable, has no demons or arrest records, hasn't got fired for pissing on a Councilman's carpet

    ReplyDelete
  96. Liam has had such a full life. Great things done and greater things in the future.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Building a political club takes real work. Liam is in it for the quick headline, and has never shown the ability, or willingness, to really go the distance. Just ask those neighbors still waiting (since August of 2017) for a meeting with City Hall about their garbage collection.

    ReplyDelete
  98. oooh looks Like Liam has some haters. But pretty sure he owns a home in queens has kids and a fiancee. They live together, that the crime? It's not the 1950s anymore. If the Republicans are going to win we need to know that. Bay Ridge elected the punk rock guy with tatoos..
Whats our plan? I am willing to hear out Mccabe and his ideas for the future of the party.

    ReplyDelete
  99. mccabe did have club when he was in Conservative Party. I was at some events and they were good. They had packed meetings, ran candidates, raised money. Imagine what he will do now as a Republican with 10 times the voter registration. That club was the best "Republican Club" locally (and it was a Conservative Club). It was embarrassing the Conservative Party was always the bigger show. We outnumber them 10 to 1. They control everything. Its going to get interesting to see where this goes.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Liam worked Uber as a campaign gimmick then went to work for Ulrich and after that Ulrich hooked him him with job as a low level bureaucrat at TLC. He’s not an investigator maybe he aspires to be one but he’s a paper pusher for de Blasio.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Marty golden had an attorney on his staff named Jack D'emic. Then D'emic got into a strange mess dressing up like an old lady for house closings. His brother Matt D'emic is the fat guy who gets free meals from bay ridge greenhouse because he claims hes a judge.

Did Norman Bates have a brother?

    ReplyDelete
  102. Why would deBlasio help Liam?

    ReplyDelete
  103. Liam and the girlfriend are owned by Jerry. Every job they've ever gotten has been from Jerry. Typical for them to describe a job answering the phones at TLC as an "investigative role". He cost us the City Council race by running a nasty primary against Q for seemingly to accomplish nothing but getting his fellow Steeplechase psychos some work.

    ReplyDelete
  104. We need to hear more about Jack D'Emic and his dressing up like an old lady. Seriously.

    ReplyDelete
  105. That was a "nasty primary" between Q and Liam? Lol, did they not say thank you when they each held the door for eachother.
Our Party is chicken S#it. It should have been a tougher primary so that Q could have been prepared for being labeled a Nazi by Justin and his supporters. Just like they are doing to Marty now. We need candidates with balls. If McCabe was even half as mean as you say he might have beat Q and who knows, we may not have to be dealing with these socialists in Bay Ridge. They are doing to Marty what they did to Q. Take off the kit gloves. If Marty loses, I'm selling and moving.

    ReplyDelete
  106. How many times to we have to play this dog and pony, rehab, relapse, recovery show with Liam..

Time for new leadership..someone like Malliotakis person, Nick Chambers!!

    ReplyDelete
  107. Liam's new "club' is inviting District Leaders from across Brooklyn to attend his first meeting and become official 'advisors" to his club. Sort of like Tom Sawyer getting his friends to paint the white picket fence for him, if Tom drank too much, forgot to buy the paint, and knocked the fence down before the paint dried.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Q was too nice and let Liam get nasty. In the end voters rewarded Q for taking the high road. Unlike the Democrats who united behind Justin, the Steeplechase psychos did everything they could to make Q lose. Yes Ghorra didn’t even show up to John’s Headquarters Grand Opening. What kind of Chairman...oh I forgot he’s a puppet not a Chairman.

    ReplyDelete
  109. 2:48 is Justin Brannan trying to start shit. Sad. His extra large pizzas must not have arrived yet and nothing better to do.

    ReplyDelete
  110. JB would have beat Q no matter what!!

What happened to the South Bklyn Conservative Club???????????

    ReplyDelete
  111. Justin Brannan is a fat turkey who should get off this blog. Obsessed with taking out possible future candidates, Liam, John Q, and even Nick Chambers live rent free in this dude’s head.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Justin would be so lucky if Q or Liam were future candidates ...Liam is a joke...and more see through his stunts .

    ReplyDelete
  113. Justin we know it’s you on the blog. Go find something to do. Beginning to think comment about you and the late arriving pizzas was actually a confession.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Justin is Boss Tweed and Taft all rolled into one.

    ReplyDelete
  115. How many hours after the polls close will Liam be on a binge again after JB wins all local races?

    ReplyDelete
  116. Building a real political organization takes guts and lots of hard work. Things Liam knows nothing about. Liam has always been in this thing of ours for the quick headline. He has never shown the ability to really go the distance. Just take a look at the Bay Ridge Democrats. We all hate them but their organiation made a name for themselves through years of hard work and because they took the risks. They don't even have a clubhouse. They meet in the back of a diner but they endorsed Ken Thompson against Joe Hynes and they endorsed DiBlasio when he was in last place. They supported Scott "Sufferin' succotash!" Stringer when he was fighting for his life against Eliot Laurence Spitzer. So now JB is sittin' pretty as the Big Boss because his club did it the old fashioned way... they earned it! Y'all can't take that away from them. When Andrew wins next month they will be the Toast of the town!

  117. Liam is from the Conservative Party @ 9:20pM. Those guys ran circles around the Republicans in this county for years with only about several real operatives. Mccabe was with Storobin, Turner and Grimm and Malliotakis when most gave them no chance. Bay Ridge Democrats? That's a Twitter page that got lucky betting on a long shot (deBlasio). Look if anyone knows about political organizing its mccabe and his crew, i would not count them out.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Gail, Liam is not the guy to build the Brooklyn GOP and he shouldn't be boosted for that role on your blog.
Don't ignore the elephant in the room, Liam McCabe is a 'Fredo' with a sobriety problem; 'and his crew' are at best, political lightweights.
McCabe and his gang are will o the wisps in all things that matter in intra-party and general elective politics: they don't know the players or the bigger political landscape locally and city wide, even when it comes to their own party, to the extent that they might have one; they don't know the streets in all the neighborhoods where they need to make inroads; and they don't know mail, either how to do it well or how it really is supposed to work.
Since winning is nothing they've ever been instrumental in, for anybody ever, they don't know what winning looks like, or more important feels like.
Most important, Liam and his crew are not humble, and they don't know how to listen.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Let's not forget NYC's top Republicam, Dan Donovan wants nothing to do with Liam after he supported Grimm, and got crushed. Pretty hard to build a Republican club when your top elected official hates you.

No one still has answered what happened to McCabes South Bklyn Conservative Club? Obviously the answer is it went by the wayside because like everything else with Liam it was a cheap political stunt--- just like promising private street residents a meeting with the Mayor after he brought garbage to Gracie Mansion, or using his taxi to drive residents to subway stations, his often repeated railroad tracks story about his dad, ...More and more people know what Liam or Will McCabe is all about and it ain't pretty.

It is silly to give credit to Liam for those races ..Craig Eaton and the Brooklyn GOP led the charge for those candidates. The races where Liam had a real leadership role were his own on 2017, Grimm's primary earlier this year, and now Saperstein . He will be 0 for 3.

    ReplyDelete
  121. 345 am = Gerry Obrien

Liam was his own man in the Council primary which is why he gained so much respect..he wasn't beholden to consultants

    ReplyDelete
  122. Dear Justin Brannan, comparisons of posts from your Twitter account and that of Bay Ridge Dems makes it obvious that you wrote several posts on this thread. On a Saturday night no less. If that’s true you may be psychotic.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Liam ran a smear campaign against Q and he gained so much “respect” that the only people who will have anything to do with him have to come in from Manhattan and the only reason they’re involved is because they’re his business partners.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Donovan is upset with Liam? I would be too if someone went against me. Golden and Liam were against each other in the Council race and Marty was against Grimm the first time he ran against Allegretti. I have seen people on so many different "sides" of Republican battles in NYC only to be friends again when the smoke clears. Some never do. If mccabe does the right thing and supports the ticket like he did with Q then all this talk of burnt bridges is baloney.

    ReplyDelete
  125. I received an email from a "Republican leader " urging Republicans and district leaders to boycott Liams new Rep club meeting citing his support and running the Brooklyn campaign of Michael Grimm against respected incumbent GOP Congressman Dan Donovan. It also pointed to his smear campaign against Quaglione (although he tries to be sneaky about it, many saw his tactics), and of course it notes McCabes personal "troubles" as well as the last club he started as a PR stunt was the Brooklyn South Conservatives , which is now defunct..the email urged support for our local GOP candidates by working directly with the campaigns , not by being part of another stunt to keep McCabe relevant and someone who can't lead republicans with his history and someone who NYC's top Republican (Donovan) can't stand...
Now many others are sending out their own emails to this effect...if you feel the same, join us and contact your local Republican friends and tell them to stay away from McCabe and his new venture , or stunt

    ReplyDelete
  126. Theasy time Republicans won the Brooklyn portion of the Staten Island Congressional District in recent memory is when mccabe ran the campaign here. People get over "feelings" quickly when it's time to rally and Donovan,Golden and the others seem happy to have his help.

  128. 703am

Mccabe lost the Brooklyn portion of the district big time with Grimm against Donovan.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Grimm never won the Brooklyn part of the district. When Donovan took Office Liam was quickly relegated because it was obvious he was putting his own political ambitions ahead of Donovan's priorities. Liam and the Upper East Side psychos have gotten trounced in every campaign they've played a meaningful role. Let's see, Storobin's campaigns in 2012 and 2013, all of the Joe Concannon campaigns, the time they hosed poor Rebecca Harary, unsuspecting David Garland, and of course the shit show humiliation of the Grimm primary. Oh yea and let's not forget Lester Chang! Without Jerry Kassar they wouldn't be allowed within a mile of a campaign.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Donovan won Brooklyn with Liam. It's true. Why would Dan care if he is helping again for the good of the party. These electeds will NOT turn his team down. No one else has done a lick! As they say "You don't look a gift horse in the mouth" https://observer.com/2017/03/new-york-citys-only-republican-congressman-looks-to-flex-his-political-muscles-at-home/

  131. Sounds like some people (Justin Brannan) want Liam not to help Dan Donovan and Marty Golden. Nobody would like it more that then "Sitting Pretty" Councilman to have the division in the opposition party so Andrew Gounardes and Max Rose can win.. You are not fooling anyone with your fake news. Get you own blog!

    ReplyDelete
  132. The Dems want Liam to help bklyn rep candidates..what did Donovan beat Liams candidate Grimm by in the primary in Bklyn- 80%-20%...

    ReplyDelete
  133. Liam is helping Marty and Donovan??? They’ve told some whoppers but this is one of their juiciest. Let’s get things cleared up. Liam gluing himself next to Golden during the Third Avenue Festival does not mean support. The Steeplechase psychos have placed all bets on the Sapersteins race hoping they can finally take credit for what should be an easy win. They can’t get volunteers for that campaign either so they have to bring their friends from Manhattan whenever they can. Meanwhile they treat that kid Joey like shit because they’re afraid he might take a job “away” from the if Steve wins. Eff outta here

    ReplyDelete
  134. Liam stands next to Marty at 3rd ave festival for some photos...typical Liam, a dog and pony show...

    ReplyDelete
  135. Of course all Republican elected officials stand together for elections and Of course will accept any help from anyone (Donovan using Liam for any help) but that doesn't mean will give them time of day after election day..

    ReplyDelete
  136. What is campaigning at a festival if not a dog and pony show. Eff outta here!

    ReplyDelete
  137. Liam doesn’t even have volunteers for Saperstein and he’s not helping anybody else. His contribution has been going to the campaign office and barking orders at that kid Joe. That’s why we have the desperate stunt of the Verrazzano Club. Ghorra worried that he’s done hoping to at least give leadership post to Liam. District leaders shouldn’t fall for it, they already have a list of leaders they’re planning on knocking off.

    ReplyDelete
  138. The only person I have seen helping Saperstein, Marty and Donovan has been Liam and the East Side Proud Boys and Girls. Where are all the volunteers for the ticket? Where is Quagmire? Where is the Republican Party? The District Leaders? The Conservatives? Do they expect a loss? At least McCabe will go down with the ship. Where is the backbone?

    ReplyDelete
  139. McCabe runs rings around Quaglione..Q sticks to getting Marty's coffee

    ReplyDelete
  140. 9:15 the real volunteers who are loyal to Marty, Q, and Danny don't hang around the office all day updating their insta like the upper east side psychos. Reason Marty can't get volunteers like he used to is because nobody can stand them but since Steve is sharing office space with Marty they have an excuse to show up. Marty's campaign was warned before he hired them that no one wanted to work with them but Jerry got his way in the end.

    ReplyDelete
  141. If Marty wins , I hope some electeds and their staffs finally get the balls to stand up to Golden and Kassar, but I doubt it. Will be having the same debates and grudges..

    ReplyDelete
  142. Lame excuse @ 09:15

    ReplyDelete
  143. Well at least 915am admits McCabe will lose yet again..

    ReplyDelete
  144. Good question. Where the hell is Quagmire? The Senator practically cut off is right arm to help that kid. Q has abandoned the old man. Marty was at every festival with him.

    ReplyDelete
  145. 9:33 is right. No one can stand the Steeplechase psychos so since Steve has them working out of Marty’s office people steer clear of the place. Creepy vibe when they’re there.

    ReplyDelete
  146. The psychos have their cameras and recorders running all the time...weirdos

    ReplyDelete
  147. What is Saperstein thinking letting those weirdos around his campaign??

    ReplyDelete
  148. 9:51 Saperstein needs them the one who gets hurt is Marty. Marty was warned by several people on his staff who were with him for years. The only person who wanted them is Jerry. As usual let Marty pay for Jerry’s actions.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Classic case of cons fooling to each other. Jerry told would hook them up with Marty in exchange for the Bob Capano smear and they let Jerry believe that they are close to the Cats family. Meanwhile almost nobody wants to set foot in the campaign office when they're there.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Obviously p ychos not close to Cats as he hasn't lifted a finger to help Golden ..
    Obviously cats stands with capano

    ReplyDelete
  156. Liam’s problem is not addiction. It’s the company he keeps and the advice he takes. His nice guy image has been blown to pieces by his partnership with the Upper East Side psychos and the girlfriend making a new enemy every day.

  171. The Steeplechase psychos have made Golden’s campaign office into a deserted space. Jerry has hired a bunch of high priced buffoons to run the race and managed to get Golden’s name mixed up in the proud boys drama. They can make fun of Bob all they want it’s misplaced anger and jealousy that while Bob hangs out with influencers, the Steeplechase psychos have to hang on to Jerry’s every word and spend countless hours sucking up to him. No wonder they’re so angry.

    ReplyDelete
  172. Where was Capano at tonight's big event for his candidate Saperstein? All the electeds, Fran and Ted were there but no Bob? What gives

    ReplyDelete
  173. I’m sure Bob had better things to do then have to hang out with the fifteen of the usual people who showed up tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Did you see the fundraiser today in Coney on FB? I heard there were 30 people there, and if you take out the candidates, their staff, the pathetic BOE employees, Mr. "Members Only", and a few random lunatics, there was only one other person there-and that was Ghorra? Question, how is this called a fundraiser when you know all of the above werent paying a dime.

  183. Wow..just saw photos of entire crowd at Saperstein Fundraiser in Coney Island yesterday..30 people tops..that includes the 27 campaign staffers, party hacks...did anyone pay?
How can Saperstein not see how embarrassing .. sad...guess on election day after he loses worse than last year he will see the light, but doubt it

    ReplyDelete
  184. Event was a success. Most of the comments are from Bob whose jealous that Steeplechase is in charge and Steve won’t return his calls. Bob is also jealous because Alexandra and Robert are close with Nicole Malliotakis and they all laugh their heads off looking at pictures of Bob with his beverage on the subway.

    ReplyDelete
  185. Bob should start acting like the pit bull that he is and take some shots at Frontus for Steve the way he attacks Golden for Andrew. Otherwise his support for Andrew will be viewed as just bitter spite. Look at how successful Kassar was at going after Grimm for his guy Donovan or how Golden fought for Quaglione. Capano only fights for Capano. If Andrew loses his race in the Senate and Saperstein wins his in the Assembly Capano will have no friends in Govt in Bk if he continues to abandon Saperstein.

    ReplyDelete
  192. When Saperstein wins, what will Obrien and Capano say?? They are being schooled on running a winning campaign

    ReplyDelete
  193. Considering Frontus is unknown outside Coney Island and doesn’t have two nickels this rub together in her campaign account, this should be a very easy win. What’s keeping it competitive is the shit show of a team assembled by Saperstein.

    ReplyDelete
  194. Frontus wins 2 to 1.

No competition here. The usual 36% for Sap
