FLASH UPDATE: It looks like the Reform Party will be going with >>> INCUMBENT DEMOCRAT TOM DI NAPOLI FOR NYS CONTROLLER

A very big name joins THE TOP OF THE TICKET of the fledgling party

Reform Party's interview and endorsement of top NYS official shows both growing power and extreme independence of Sliwa, Capano and the rest of the Reform Party's executive committee

That's enough for now.....

  2. If Molinaro, Giambra and others are interviewing personally with the Reform Party, as is Tom DiNapoli, it shows people want the Reform line..

I hear Gournades and Marty Golden are up next in Brooklyn ..
    Wow!

  5. So much for ... Reform.

    ReplyDelete
  6. DiNapoli at top of ticket can only help lower candidates on Reform line in Brooklyn

    ReplyDelete
  7. Another blow to Eaton' s ego by Cats..
Cats and Co. out in force at Marty Golden annual fundraiser right now..guess Cats does not listen to his "main man" Eaton, who clearly is not with Golden...lots of laughs here about that

    ReplyDelete
  8. 12:35 is missing the point: what kind of "reform" does the Reform Party stand for if it's endorsing a usual suspect like DiNapoli?

    ReplyDelete
  9. 708, when the Reform Party endorses Gournades , you will support that I assume?????????

    ReplyDelete
  10. Is anyone running against DiNapoli?

    ReplyDelete
  11. The Reform party is endorsing Golden.

    ReplyDelete
  12. dinap has been a decent comptroller. has demonstrated independance from cuomo.

Guaranteed reform party not endorsing Golden!!

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 10:46 PM" & "... AT 1:55 AM"

MANY OF YOU OUT THERE WOULD BE SURPRISED WHO I AM CONTRADICTING BY THIS COMMENT, BUT.....

NO FINAL DECISION HAS BEEN MADE BY THE BROOKLYN REFORM PARTY WRT THE ENDORSEMENT OR SELECTION OF A STATE SENATE CANDIDATE IN THE 22ND S.D.

MY BUZZ IS THAT IN SPITE OF SOME COURTSHIP TYPE MOVES, AT THIS STAGE, SSMG HASN'T COMMITTED TO FULLY PARTICIPATING IN THE REFORM PARTY PROCESS OF SELECTION --- YOU SEE, HIS SIDE THINKS IT'S ALL ABOUT MAKING SOME KIND OF "DEAL"

I think that fact alone puts Gounardes and Barkan way ahead in the process..... And, lest there be any doubt, I think that's a good scoop and great news.

  15. 2018 will show how absolutely noncompetitive the Republican-Conservative brand has become in Brooklyn, New York.

    ReplyDelete
  16. 1973 already showed how non-competitive R & C have become in Brooklyn

    ReplyDelete
  17. 1973? NO! It was 1982 and after.

MY COMMENT YESTERDAY AT 7:06 AM DIDN'T GET A SINGLE RELEVANT REJOINDER OR EVEN THE ROUTINE SMART-ALEC REMARKS FROM EITHER SIDE.....

I suspect that I hit some very raw nerves on all sides to/about Marty Golden's problematic approach(es) to getting the Reform Party line.....

    ReplyDelete
  22. Marty has the reform line.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Its offical- Liam pushed aside because of his "issues".. McCabe just posted on facebook he is NOT running

    ReplyDelete
  24. Liam finally came out officially in support of Grimm. All part of Kassar’s usual strategy of playing both sides against each other.

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 9:57 AM"

"HA[VING] THE REFORM [PARTY] LINE" AND HAVING >>> "AN INTEREST IN" <<< THE REFORM PARTY LINE ARE TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS

I just checked five minutes ago..... There are three candidates with an interest in getting the Reform Party line --- not one of them has yet sealed the deal --- and that includes Marty Golden.

BUT... Thank you for playing !!! It was lots of fun for everybody.....

  43. Liamm and Grimm back united once again. Two dirtbags

    ReplyDelete
  44. Liam and Grimm will be sharing a district office in Brooklyn

    ReplyDelete
  45. Some very interesting things will be reported Monday about Ghorra....

    Stay tuned.....

    ReplyDelete
  46. What office is Liam running for? It sure ain't Assembly ...Ted Ghorra and GOP with Saperstein , as will be announced Monday. .bye by e Liam and Obrien

    ReplyDelete
  47. About Ghorra..not by Ghorra you fool.

    ReplyDelete
  48. About Ghorra is he is backing Sap not Liam you fool

    ReplyDelete
  49. The Capano interns time has come with Saperstein this year..

    ReplyDelete
  50. Ghorra is backing Saperstein. Liam is going to be Saperstein’s Campaign Manager. Kassar has gone from demanding that he also hire Steeplechase to begging that he hire Steeplechase.

    ReplyDelete
  51. 5:42 says something interesting will be published about Ghorra. Published by who? I'm surprised Ghorra the nobody is even mentioned on this blog.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Chairman Ghorra looked great at Marty's fundraiser at Ponte Vecchio last week w/ Cats

    ReplyDelete
  53. 1022am is correct ..Liam will be main Saperstein guy while Capano twins Vito and Vito interns, continue to be , well interns..they just don't know it yet..go Liam.

    ReplyDelete
  54. How is Liam going to run Sappy's campaign if he's also back on Team Grimm USA? Will Liam still also be driving Uber and working for Mayor DiBlasio? He is Superman!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Liam can do it all, which is why all want him on their team!

    ReplyDelete
  56. I actually know that Liam and Saperstein met today about the winning campaign .

    ReplyDelete
  57. Saperstein is in for a shit show once Grimm loses the Primary and Donovan people come looking for revenge. Donovan internals snow comfortable victory. If Dems and Independents could vote in primary would be a different story. Saperstein fundraising will dry up overnight with one call from Danny.

    ReplyDelete
  58. The dum Dems I speak with seem to think that if Grimm wins in June than they will win in November with their candidate. It seems like most people believe the data that Grimm will beat Donovan but then loose in November. Danny, Fran Vella and Jerry all supported Liam when he was at his lowest and I think Liam going back to Grimm's camp is a real betrayal that everyone is discussing, even those close to Grim. Ya just can't trust a guy like that

    ReplyDelete
  59. Max Rose has raised a lot of money and has a national network. Purple Heart Veteran who is more Connor Lamb than Jerry Nadler. This seat is in trouble but probably goes to Rose if Grimm is the nominee. Donovan not the greatest campaigner around but even he knows BK Cons playing him for a fool.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Conservatives still have jobs in Brooklyn Donovan office so 129pm full of hot air

    ReplyDelete
  61. Fun reading on Facebook how Capano and Kassar buddies again defending Donovan..

    ReplyDelete
  62. Puleezz.

Does anyone believe Donovan will beat Grimm. Why vote for Dan? Because his baby mama has junkies in the family.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Liam rules, while Quaglione and Capano are with the losing Donovan

    ReplyDelete
  64. 1:51 Cons still have jobs in Brooklyn and hoping Grimm wins so they can keep most of them because that’s their only hope now that their spineless duplicity has been exposed.

    ReplyDelete
  65. 232
So why doesn't Donovan fire them now if true???????

    ReplyDelete
  66. Anonymous at 12:06 is at is again.

This guy just keeps telling Fake News about Ghorra and Cats.

I was at the Golden event. Not as good a crowd as years past, no Cats anywhere in sight, Ghorra showed up late and didnt even get to speak.

Sounds to me like the honeymoon is indeed over between the old man and the wig man.

    Oh well.

But 12:06, keep talking about Cats and Golden and Ghorra...it is indeed entertaining, even though everyone knows it is all Fake.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Cats sent Golden a hefty amount of checks. Has anyone told bob yet?

    ReplyDelete
  68. 620
More fake news about Cats , Eaton , and capano

    ReplyDelete
  69. I believe each every word here on this blog for two great reasons. Gail knocks out everything that is fake, and all of what is left shows a Kings County Republican Organization in complete meltdown.

    ReplyDelete
  70. God Bless u Gale

    god bless u

    ReplyDelete
  71. Since Eaton and Capano non-involvement in the Brooklyn GOP it has been all bad news all the time!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Never thought I’d say this but Arnaldo reign looking pretty good in comparison at least they did no harm. Word is scapegoat or not Ghorra’s days as Chair are numbered and they’re actively looking for a new puppet.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Golden is the problem not Ghorra

Dump Golden, either Gounardes or Barkins would be better for one term

    ReplyDelete
  74. Some interesting news ABOUT Ghorra to be shared tonight....a big defeat for him.....

    ReplyDelete
  75. Ted Ghorra will lead the GOP to victory in November.

    ReplyDelete
  76. 806
    More fake news

    ReplyDelete
  77. Ghorra leads..Eaton and Capano hide..

    ReplyDelete
  78. Come November Ghorra will be the undisputed leader.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Ghorra, Golden , Cats win big in November

    ReplyDelete
  80. 6:42 should remember that some Republicans were saying the same thing about Gentile back in 1996. If we lose this seat now we will probably never get it back. Golden is more of a problem than Ghorra in so much as it was his idea to install him as a puppet. Team Golden’s unforeseen problem turned out to be that Ghorra is not Golden’s puppet but an eager Jerry puppet instead as the whole Gorka Trump appearance was suggested and arranged by Jerry.

    ReplyDelete
  81. HMMMM! IS THAT SO? WOULD THAT INCLUDE MISTER MEANERS AN' FELLOW OWNERLIES? --JJP

    ReplyDelete
  82. Saperstein announced his Assembly run today..I feel bad for Quaglione being tossed aside...

    ReplyDelete
  83. Quaglione, Capano and McCabe are yesterday's news, but so is Saperstein.

Sometimes you need to rap up some fresh fish or do a takeout of classical fish and chips.

They say that there are no second acts in politics. However, tell them to look up Richard Nixon and Grover Cleveland.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Well one thing is for sure Liams act is up...why did Ghorra dump him after Liam told Katie Goba published on Bklyner that he was forming a committee to run?????????

    ReplyDelete
  85. Q was backing Saperstein. No love lost between Ghorra and Team Quaglione after last year’s fiasco. Then the Gorka thing and Ghorra needed to mend fences with Golden fast.

    ReplyDelete
  86. i hear Eric Schneiderman is looking for a date.

    ReplyDelete
  87. How did Ghorra and Cats' little kitty do last night?

    ReplyDelete
  88. Very interesting.....

Ghorra lobbied for the NYS NYC Region Vice Chairmanship position, had people make calls for him, begged the other chairs to vote for him.....and at the end of the day he lost....he is an alltime loser.....

Nobody likes him..he is too arrogant

    ReplyDelete
  89. 858a
    fake news
Ghorra going to win big with saperstein and do something eaton never did- win a new Brooklyn seat! With Liam & Cats helping, a winner

    ReplyDelete
  90. 858 you are absolutely delusional........

Ghorra is a loser once again.

It is all over the NYC GOP, the blogs and everywhere.

Ghorra wanted to be VC of the NYS GOP. He even had the NYS Executive Director making calls to the Chairs for him.

Look at the photos on FB...Ed Cox was with the chairs from Queens, Staten Island, Bronx and Manhattan and AJ Cats was elected. Where was Ghorra? He is a chair isnt he?

The official word is that Ghorra didnt show up because he was upset he wasnt going to get the VC spot and was pissed at the other chairs for not giving it to him. All the other chairs hate him and say he is too arrogant for them.

He is also pissed at AJ for not letting him get it, since as he told everyone he is the most "senior" chair....wow, senior chair, he has been there what, a year or so?

Also so much for the love fest between Ghorra and Cats....

They dont even speak...this all started after Ghorra stole a NY County Candidate and had him run in Brooklyn, and then he tried to muscle/push AJ out of the VC race.

    Themz the facts my friends.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Golden still mentoring Andrea though..

    ReplyDelete
  92. 12:35 pretty much has the scoop. Jason Weingartner the Executive Director is absolutely worthless and it’s a disgrace that he’s still in that position. I remember how much abuse they gave Tom Basile back in the day and he was a far better director. This guy Weingartner needs to stay above the fray out of the intraparty squabbles and stop perpetuating drama like a gossip girl. Stop cutting stipends for young Republicans and focus on building the party.

    ReplyDelete
  93. What matters is elections..big wins coming for Ghorra- Golden (with Cats support)- McCabe- Saperstein-

    ReplyDelete
  94. Big wigs or wins?

    ReplyDelete
  95. On election night it will be Golden , Ghorra, and Cats on stage at Goldens victory party...where will Eaton be????

    ReplyDelete
  96. Ghorra has already lost. He backed Liam for Assembly only to be told to take back his support in favor of Saperstein. He was forced to cancel his idiotic idea of doing a fundraiser with Gorka. Now he’s passed over for the regional leadership spot even though that idiot Weingartner personally lobbied for him.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Cats is with Golden and Ghorra..check the Brooklyn GOP and Golden recent contributions..guess Craig had no pull with his "good friend"...What happened Craig ??

    ReplyDelete
  98. Anonymous at 5:41pm - Please stop with your fake news.

Here is the link for all of you to look at who donated to Golden and the Brooklyn GOP (do they still exist) and when.

Clearly there are no donations from John Cats or any of his family members to either of these entities.

Check it out for yourselves and then please tell Anon at 5:41 to give up once and for all.

    http://www.elections.ny.gov:8080/plsql_browser/getreports?filer_in=A13015&fyear_in=2018&rep_in=G

Just copy and paste this link and you can see who gave to Golden and Brooklyn GOP since January.

Please Anonymous at 5:41pm, send us something, anything, to show you are not delusional.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Craig hangs out regularly with Cats unlike Marty and Jerry, he remains his friend because he is loyal. Marty and Jerry had to go begging for forgiveness after taking all this shit about him for years. I wonder how that feels.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Contributions over the past 2 weeks would not have been reported , and not in these reports
