NEWS FLASH: THE "MARTY GOLDEN (AND HIS DRIVER MARKO ???) CAUGHT ON CAMERA" EDITION

RUMOR HAS IT THAT SCOFFLAW GOLDEN  ---  AKA  STATE SENATOR MARTIN GOLDEN  ---  WAS CAUGHT RIDING THE WRONG WAY IN A BIKE LANE  ---  THEN, THAT GOLDEN TRIED TO USE HIS "NON-POLICE PLACARD" TO GORILLA THE WRONG GUY

SOON AFTER THE INITIAL BAD-DRIVING INCIDENT, HIS DRIVER  ---  AND BOY,  IT SURE DOES LOOK LIKE IT MIGHT BE MARKO KEPI BEHIND THE WHEEL OF WHAT SURE LOOKS LIKE SSMG'S CADILLAC SUV ---  VIOLATED MORE TRAFFIC LAWS TRYING TO ESCAPE THE SCENE  AND/OR  AVOID HAVING THE STATE SENATOR PHOTOGRAPHED BY THE POTENTIAL MARTY-GOLDEN-VICTIM-TURNED-MARTY-GOLDEN-PURSUER-AND-PHOTOGRAPHIC-HISTORIAN

I'm sure this one will have legs,  and it will be the 2017 Christmas gift to Marty Golden that keeps on giving all through 2018.....

Get it from the horse's mouth from an eye-witness complainant at the following:    https://twitter.com/search?q=%40bdhowald&src=typd  [or search Twitter >>>  @bdhowald].

Boy-Oh-Boy !!!!!   The Tweet-thread at Mr. Brian Howald's Twitter site is already lit-up and festooned like the Rocky Center Christmas tree with Marty Golden's driving history.  What a record of bad and arguably unlawful driving !!!!!

  1. The beginning of the end for Marty G. He was on his way out next year anyway, now this makes it more likely-- when he goes KAssar goes.
WHen that happens the Reform party endorsed Gournados is in and Capano replaces kassar as the major third party leader in Brooklyn!!

  3. 8:50 AM, do you mean to tell us that this is all a Bob Capano dream?

But, but, but - I read the @bdhowald Tweets and they seemed real enough. Especially the pictures of Marty trying to block the shot and of little Marko behind the wheel. At least Marty is consistent, he picked a driver who is as bad behind the wheel as Marty is himself.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Marty always seemed like a flash a badge kind of guy, when he or his family got into trouble in the past. Now, he waves his parking placard like it's some kind of warrant when his car is being driven illegally by one of his staffers.

  5. I hear in the first 2 weeks of January there will be 2 major Capano announcements that will cement his public visibility in Bay Ridge and Brooklyn for years to come, that will very much upset his detractors here.

    I can't wait!!

    ReplyDelete
  6. the 2 capano announcements are

1- after counting the paper ballots he has reached 1.1%
2- in case of a marsh mellow shortage people should stock up

  16. RESPONSE: THE "AND THE WINNER IS..." EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 11:00 AM" & "... AT 11:21 AM"

AND THE WINNER IS >>> "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 11:00 AM"

The statements by the commenter at 11:21 AM are neither logical nor a good use of the English language.

On the other hand, the commenter at 11:00 AM demonstrated logic, wit and a passable use of the mother tongue here in the United States of America.

  17. FLASH UPDATE: THE "OMG" EDITION

I JUST GOT AN E-MAIL BLURB FROM OUR NEWEST PARTY CHAIRMAN IN BROOKLYN THAT SAID: "STATE SENATOR MARTY GOLDEN, FLASHING...."

What more can one say, but I'm speechless.

  21. Who will be the first to call on Marty to resign? You can be above the law..

    ReplyDelete
  22. Where is Marty's chief spokesman John Quaglione on this latest scandal? I'm sure his press strategy will get Marty out of this mess in no time

    ReplyDelete
  23. The Post, the News, NY1, Twitter, Facebook ... coverage of this story has really accelerated, as John Quaglione would say.

    ReplyDelete
  24. BACKFILL: THE “NEW YORK POST” EDITION

LA COUVERTURE DE LA POSTE DE L’AFFAIR D’OR ET LE CYCLISTE EST TRES GENANT POUR LE SENATOR D’ETAT D’OR

MY POINT IS THIS: IT DOESN’T MATTER HOW YOU SAY IT, THE POST COVERAGE OF THE GOLDEN-CYCLIST DUST-UP IS A BIG PROBLEM FOR STATE SENATOR GOLDEN --- AND IT’S LIKELY TO GET BIGGER BEFORE IT GETS SMALLER

GET A LOAD OF THE "DEVASTATING" DRIVING HISTORY COMPILED BY THE POST OF THE STATE SENATOR FROM BAY RIDGE

AND WHAT DO WE GET FROM THAT STATE SENATOR FROM BAY RIDGE ??? --- ONCE AGAIN, "SILENCE IS GOLDEN" (CUE THE FOUR SEASONS)

According to the account that appeared in the NY Post, “Brooklyn [S]tate Sen. Marty Golden tried to pull over a bicyclist by impersonating a cop — and then his wheelman ran a red light and drove into oncoming traffic to get away when the cyclist snapped the pol’s picture, according to the cyclist….” (See “Politician impersonated cop to get past me in bike lane: cyclist” by Max Jaeger & Kirstan Conley, 12/12/17, NY Post/ Metro [https://nypost.com/2017/12/12/politician-impersonated-cop-to-get-past-me-in-bike-lane-cyclist/]).

A DRIVING HISTORY THAT EVEN SENATOR GOLDEN DESCRIBED AS “DEVASTATING”

Perhaps even more damning than the most recent news item about the confrontation with the cyclist was the following HISTORY according to the NY Post’s researchers: “…. The vehicle’s license plate number, which the Post is not publishing, is associated with more than 30 traffic violations over the last four years — including for running red lights, not feeding parking meters, standing in bus stops and for speeding in school zones, according to city records…. ..Seven of Golden’s 10 school-zone speeding violations happened near schools in his Senate district, records show…. ‘Anybody who drives like that should not have a driver’s license,’ [the cyclist] said…. Golden has strongly opposed efforts in the state legislature to expand the number of speed cameras used on city streets…. Golden also ran over a 74-year-old woman in September 2005, an incident he called ‘devastating’ and for which he was not charged because investigators determined the woman was crossing against the light. She died five months later….”

AND GET THIS --- NEITHER GOLDEN NOR HIS STAFF RESPONDED TO THE NY POST’S INQUIRIES

The article by Max Jaeger and Kirstan Conley took pains to note that --- “…. Golden did not respond to repeated calls and an email seeking comment….”

    ReplyDelete
  25. GOLDEN and Kassar are finally going down

    ReplyDelete
  26. Here is a chance for Quaglione to show an ounce of independence and backbone and condemn Marty for breaking all these laws...only then will q be seen as his own man and gain some respect

    ReplyDelete
  27. Serious question, will Marty be arrested for impersonating a police officer??

    ReplyDelete
  28. RESPONSE: THE "NOW THAT'S A GOOD QUESTION" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 7:38 AM"

IF WHAT HAS BEEN REPORTED IN THE DAILY NEWS & NY POST IS TRUE; IT WOULD APPEAR THAT IT'S VERY LIKELY THAT SEVERAL >>> CRIMES <<< WERE COMMITTED, AS WELL AS SEVERAL VIOLATIONS

A FULL INVESTIGATION NEEDS TO BE STARTED ASAP; AND IF ANY PROBABLE CAUSE IS FOUND, THE CASE NEEDS TO BE GIVEN TO A SPECIAL PROSECUTOR

According to the DN, Steve Gounardes has called for a NYS Ethics probe; even though that does need to get done --- these facts cry out for a full-scale criminal investigation.

    ReplyDelete
  29. It is about time that the old piece of shit gets tagged for his misdeeds. He has walked around for years like he owns NYC and treat everyone like shit. Good for him. Hope he is forced to resign, the old drunken bastard.

    Better yet, prison...

  34. MODERATOR'S NOTE: THE "ANTI-HIJACKING" EDITION

TWO OF THE COMMENTS ABOVE [SINCE REMOVED] APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN PART OF AN ATTEMPT BY SOMEBODY TO USE THIS BLOG TO FURTHER AN ANTI-MARTY GOLDEN PETITION. IT IS NO DOUBT FOSTERED BY A "PROGRESSIVE PARTNER ORGANIZATION" USING MOVEON.ORG PETITIONS AS THEIR PRINCIPAL VEHICLE

I HAVE REMOVED BOTH OF THOSE COMMENTS

    ReplyDelete

  38. RESPONSE: THE "DUH !!!" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 2:46 PM"

WELL, MY NOT VERY DISCERNING QUESTIONER, RIDDLE ME THIS: WHAT EXACTLY DID THE PETITION SAY ABOUT MARTY GOLDEN ??? WHO WOULD THE PETITION BE SENT TO ??? WHO WAS ORGANIZING THE PETITION EFFORT ??? WHO HAD ALREADY SIGNED THE PETITION ???

..... AND MAYBE FOUR OR FIVE OTHER KEY BITS OF INFO THAT I HAVE AND YOU DON'T

    ReplyDelete
  39. Liam should put his big boy pants on and call for Marty Golden to resign

    ReplyDelete
  40. Maybe this is obvious, but wasn't Senator Golden's vote against funding more speed activated cameras a conflict of interest based on his own driving record.

By the way even some of Marty Golden's friends will tell you that he drives like a cowboy, and almost as important lots of people know that often he NEEDS to have a driver operate his car or he'd risk even more problems. So what happens if no driver is available?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Marty is going down.

    ReplyDelete
  42. What about the old lady Marty killed?

    ReplyDelete
  43. The article in the NY Post stated Golden ran over a woman who died in 2005. Post said no charged were brought by DA. That was DA Hynes. Things are different now.

  44. John Q finally got his boss into all the newspapers

  46. Bob is really going to have a tough time getting Martys signatures next year.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Marty is an old drunk.....plain and simple.

    ReplyDelete
  48. A few very interesting points:

    a) Q actually came out of the hole and said to the NY Times "it is the Senator's personal car"...doesnt the State pay for this vehicle? doesnt he use it for business use and possibly personal use? Someone should look into this fact and make sure it is all up to snuff;

b)He did hit an elderly woman years ago, and she subsequently passed away after many days in a hospital. I heard that there was a lawsuit filed by the ladies family and it resulted in a hefty payment to the estate, but interestingly enough, the case is nowhere to be found. I checked on the Court's website "ecourts" I think it was and there is no record. Maybe he used his influence, wink. wink. nod.nod. and had them delete any and all records of the accident and the settlement since it probably claimed he was negligent and caused her death. Someone should look into this fact and see what they can find....maybe the News, Post, Times, DA, US Attorney???

    ReplyDelete
  49. The visual of Marty being chased by some kid on a bike with a cell phone is rich!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Charlie Rose and now Tavis Smiley is gone. Who'd have thought so much hankey pankey was going on at PBS.

    ReplyDelete
  51. The statute of limitations is 5 years on manslaughter in New York. So nothing to be done about the 2005 crime. The current stuff and tickets will be an issue for the voters to decide.

    ReplyDelete
  52. 9:48 sounds like the cop telling everyone "just move along, no crime here". Really??

Sometimes Marty got 3 speeding tickets a day. He is a menace.

    ReplyDelete
  53. In 2017 John Quaglione & Roy Moore won their primaries and lost close elections in what some people called Republican strongholds. In 2018 will Marty Golden do the same thing?

    ReplyDelete
  54. I hear Liam McCabe is laying the groundwork to replace Marty.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Godspeed NYS Reform Party Chairman Curtis Sliwa on your major surgery. Get well soon, you and Chairman Capano will continue making waves in Brooklyn, NYC and NYS.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Who will be the first local Republican with the courage to call on Marty to resign or for the DA to file charges

    ReplyDelete
  57. Get f----d, Marty Golden isn't resigning because of some whining downtown leftist on a bike.
If he told his driver to run the guy over instead of run away this problem would just be another unsolved crime in Duhblaz New York.

    ReplyDelete
  58. You gotta go, but you probably don't know how

Just squat and push down hard, and don't forget to pull down your pants and draws

    ReplyDelete
  59. And now the New York Times is covering Marty in the passenger seat.

    ReplyDelete
  60. To the Gale Wynn Masey headline writers.

Please note Marty was caught on Camera(s) not a camera. Many cameras all over the city & the man on the bike.

    ReplyDelete
  64. all jokes aside theres a long history of Marty abusing his power
You had the original "lost gun" cover up or the Lauren Sergio baby cover-up.....
with all the signs pointing back to Marty and Joe Hynes
2017 its a new day and people riding their bikes to community board meetings can be your downfall

Tick-tock, tick-tock the clock is ticking on Marty's glass house empire

    ReplyDelete
  65. to 11:08 you are close. it was chicken alfredo and sprite

    ReplyDelete
  66. I hear Quaglione is on his way to the Bridgeview to pick up Marty's lunch

  67. RESPONSE: THE "NOT QUITE SO FAST, YOU CRITIC YOU" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 9:36 AM"

YOU DO MAKE A POINT --- AND I GET THAT POINT --- BUT, MY HEADLINE REFERRED >>> ONLY <<< TO THE CAMERA SHOTS BY THE CYCLIST THE OTHER NIGHT

I think I know who you might be..... So, why not make the other points that you made to me over the phone ?????

Marty Golden is not just a retired cop, he is a cop who's been out on three-quarters "DISABILITY" for maybe more than four-times as long as he ever was a cop (BTW, the VilVoi article misreported that Marty was a "DETECTIVE" --- I've known a few detectives, some of those detectives were good friends of mine --- and Marty Golden sure ain't never been no detective.)

    ReplyDelete
  68. FAKE NEWS by the first 11:15 AM up above. John Quaglione is picking up Marty's lunch at the New Royal not at the Bridgeview.

  71. From the Ghost of Christmas Future: Let's dedicate this very early 2018 Christmas Song to the very recently defeated and soon to be former State Senator Marty Golden (you know like he is a FORMER police officer, although he still likes to pretend he still is one while he is on the road), the very beautiful Elvis Presley hit, you know the one that goes "It'll be a Blue Christmas Without You... a blue, blue Christmas"

    ReplyDelete
  72. Sorry 1109 am..nothing you can do about it but blog about

    ReplyDelete
  73. We are Republicans and we are men. We eat red meat and dont give a shit about no stupid bike lanes. I believe Senator Golden, a decorated police officer. What do we know about the person on the bike?

  74. Chairman Capano, when do you make your statement on this matter??

    ReplyDelete
  75. Capano who???
    Eaton who????

    ReplyDelete
  76. Word is Marty told Curtis Sliwa he will not take Ind party if Curtis gives Marty reform line. Will chairman fatboy go along with that? Does he have a choice?

See 529pm comment..they keep coming after you , you must be scaring them..keep it up!!

    ReplyDelete
  84. So Bob has committed the reform party line to a democrat. I guess everyone was right about him.

    ReplyDelete
  85. 7;48 has it right. Preacher Bob ran as the only real republican. Not exactly a man for all seasons.

    ReplyDelete
  86. So what is on the bikers video? Did Golden say he's a cop? That's a serious crime.

  87. RESPONSE & QUERY: THE "WHAT'S 7:48 PM RIGHT ABOUT ???" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 7:48 PM" & "... AT 10:01 PM"

WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU SAYING THAT BOB CAPANO IS UP TO --- RIGHT NOW ?????

7:48's comment says that "... Bob has committed the reform party line to a democrat...."

I didn't know that..... Who is that "democrat" [sic] ????? And when exactly was that done ?????

I agree with you that Bob Capano is not a "man for all seasons" (I hope you aren't channeling Robert Bolt [I'm afraid he might have been a cuckold]); but, I do think that Bob Capano might be the man of the hour, and THE "man for all [r]easons".....

BTW, I think the term "a man for all seasons" came form Erasmus..... And I think that Peter Ackroyd suggested that one of the reasons Saint Thomas More was close to King Henry VIII was that More was a bit of a raconteur of dirty jokes.....

    ReplyDelete
  88. RESPONSE: THE "BIGGER PICTURE" EDITION

TO: "THE FIRST 'ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 12:56 AM' " [AFTER ALL, WHENEVER I RESPOND TO MY OWN COMMENTS, WHICH I RARELY DO, I DO IT AS "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT..."]

YOU'RE WRONG TO ONLY FOCUS ON THIS MOST RECENT INCIDENT.....

The stories indicate that Marty's car has racked up a formidable history of speeding-type violations in a variety of circumstances..... That's the biggest take-away from the reports of the cyclist-Golden story.....

I'm pretty sure that Marty Golden drove just as fast many years ago, and I would bet a pretty large bit of cash on the fact that very few police officers, or other traffic enforcement types, ever wrote a ticket, .

    ReplyDelete
  89. Good point Gale at 1256..I have it on good authority that Capano has been a part of meeting with candidates for local and statewide office throughout the NYS and people are calling him.

I never thought Capano would come out of this election with more clout compared to Q and McCabe but it seems like the case..just look at Capano' s detractors on this blog..they are going after him for a reason, guess they are seeing the same activity by him I just mentioned..

  90. UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "MORE OLD BAD NEWS FOR MARTY IN THE DAILY NEWS TODAY" EDITION

THAT LONG AGO PEDESTRIAN KNOCK DOWN WHERE THE OLD LADY DIED --- IT LOOKS LIKE IT COST MARTY THREE-QUARTERS OF A MILLION DOLLARS ($750,000) TO SETTLE --- THAT'S A LOT OF MONEY TO SETTLE THE >>> WRONGFUL DEATH <<< CLAIM OF AN OLD PERSON WITH NO LOST EARNINGS --- THERE SURELY MUST HAVE BEEN SOME EXACERBATING CIRCUMSTANCES INVOLVING THE STATE SENATOR

IT LOOKS LIKE THIS BAD WEEK FOR MARTY GOLDEN IS ALREADY GOING TO SPILL INTO NEXT WEEK --- GOLDEN AND HIS TEAM'S "NO COMMENT" APPROACH AIN'T WORKIN'

Marty need s to come up with a lot of answers to a lot of questions very fast.

Not only does this story have legs >>> it's marching forward in Ten League Boots <<<

    ReplyDelete
  91. Bye bye Golden and Kassar

    ReplyDelete
  92. So let me get this straight. An old lady was hit by Golden and died. She had no lost earnings and Marty did nothing wrong. ok. But then her family is paid $750,000.

    Yeah that happens a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Who paid the $750,000 ?

I dont see an insurance company paying out that kind of money to help a politician. Marty was a city councilman at the time. Did NYC pay?

    ReplyDelete
  94. Capano is going to start having some problems now that his crack legal advisor's had the book thrown at him

    https://nypost.com/2017/12/15/controversial-lawyer-arrested-for-kidnapping-extortion

    ReplyDelete
  95. If she was an elderly woman and had no lost earnings and did not support anyone, her case would not be worth that kind of settlement money unless they had a serious liability claim against Golden which they must have.

That being said, someone needs to dig deeper.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Someone needs to dig deeper !! Dig for what?

Facts are Marty drives like a maniac getting 50 or 60 speeding tickets a month and runs over an old lady. Ted Kennedy never got speeding tickets.

    ReplyDelete
  97. God Bless u Ted Kennedy

    God Bless u

    ReplyDelete
  98. So bobs lawyer is facing life in prison. Well Al there goes the 1%

    ReplyDelete
  99. Here's a very important question about Marty Golden that actually needs somebody to push for answers.
Did he get speeding and other moving violations the whole time he was a City Councilman and then a State Senator, or did it start only after the automatic cameras started clicking away?
If it's the latter, then it's strong circumstantial evidence that Marty Golden was a CORRUPT SERIAL ABUSER of his official positions.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Can we get a straight answer about Bob? If hes not getting reform line for marty than is he getting it for the democrat? No need for BS about who the democrat is because if you are against marty thats irrelevant.

This is a GOP blog? Lots of questions but no answers.

    ReplyDelete
  101. hey 12:46 here is the answer.

    GO F*** YOURSELF.

    ReplyDelete
  102. RESPONSE: THE "THERE IS NO CALL FOR THAT KIND OF L**GU*GE" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 12:51 PM"

TRY TO BE A LITTLE UNDERSTANDING --- IT'S BEEN A VERY ROUGH WEEK FOR THE JKs AND THE JQs AND THE NYSSMGs OF THIS WORLD.....

But they did get this part right about this blog and Marty's recent antics: ".... Lots of questions but no answers...." What they don't seem to get is that THEY (Marty and/or his folks) have to come up with some of the most important answers.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  114. Go Chairman Bob Go !!

    You can do it

  117. Luthmann has been framed.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Plot twist: Richard Luthmann was just John D'Emic in a rubber mask!

    ReplyDelete
  119. Senator Golden technically saved the life of the old lady he hit with his truck because in the Emergency Room doctor's discovered she had bladder cancer.

God Bless Marty Golden and may God bless these United States of America. This is your humble narrator John Quaglione speaking.
