WIKILEAKS GINS UP INTEREST IN PROMISED HILLARY CLINTON-RELATED DATA DROP BY CHANGING SCHEDULED LIVE EVENT AT LONDON EMBASSY TO A TAPED EXPOSITION IN BERLIN >>> EARLY ON TUESDAY <<<
--- BECAUSE OF A SPECIFIC CREDIBLE ASSASSINATION THREAT TO JULIAN ASSANGE
POSSIBLY, ALSO PART OF ITS BUILDUP WAS A WIKILEAKS TWEET ALLEGEDLY QUOTING SEC/STATE HILLARY CLINTON'S PREVIOUSLY SUGGESTING A "DRONE STRIKE" AGAINST JULIAN ASSANGE --- NOTING THAT HIS SANCTUARY LOCATION IN LONDON WAS A "SOFT TARGET"
Possibly as part of a possible dramatic buildup to its promised drop by WikiLeaks of some significant material detrimental to Hillary Clinton, the WikiLeaks folks backed up their claim that Julian Assange was the subject of a specific assassination threat by unnamed conspirators. However, as part of the backup material, there was certain alleged material, including an HRC quote ---, which was attribute attributed by a named secondary source to HRC and her U.S. State Department during past deliberations.
Here's the recent Tweet from the folks at WikiLeaks:
"WikiLeaks
Hillary Clinton on Assange "Can't we just drone this guy" -- report

A drone strike at the Equadoran Embassy in London! Why would the USA's top diplomat, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, see any diplomatic problems with that?
ReplyDeleteI just saw Roger Stone praising Assange.
ReplyDeleteHmm
UPDATE TO MY FLASH UPDATE: THE “ ’NO COMMENT’ BY HRC’S SPOKESPERSON ABOUT PROPOSED DRONE STRIKE AT ASSANGE” EDITION
ReplyDeleteHRC CAMPAIGN MANAGER ROBBIE MOOK TAKES A PASS ON QUESTION BY FOX DC REPORTER ABOUT VIRAL INTERNET STORY ABOUT HILLARY’S COMMENT(S) ABOUT DRONE STRIKES AND JULIAN ASSANGE
According to a late Monday report appearing in “The Hill” --- “Hillary Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook declined to comment about an alleged remark by the Democratic nominee asking if a drone strike could go after WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange…. Amid speculation about the release of an “October surprise” by Assange, WTTG Fox 5 DC reporter Ronica Cleary published a video clip of her interview with Mook on Monday…. In it, she asked if the report was true and if the comment was made in jest…. Many reporters online have questioned TruePundit, the source of the original report and New York Magazine published a post Monday night which it said explained the “viral rumor that Hillary Clinton wanted to drone-strike Julian Assange…. “I'm reticent to comment on anything that the WikiLeaks people have said. They've made a lot of accusations in the past," Mook told Cleary.’…” (See..“Clinton manager ‘reticent’ to comment on report Clinton floated drone strike against Wikileaks” by Lisa Hagen, 10-3-16, The Hill [http://www.thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/299102-clinton-manager-reticent-to-comment-on-report-clinton-floated-drone-strike]).
His roomates in the Ecuadoran embassy may not have been happy with that drone threat stuff.
ReplyDeleteUPDATE: THE “JULIAN ASSANGE LIVESTREAM” EDITION
ReplyDeleteAPPEARS BY VIDEO-LINK AT WIKILEAKS 10TH ANNIVERSARY GATHERING --- LIVESTREAM AVAILABLE ON YOUTUBE
NOTHING NEW OR SPECIFIC WAS REVEALED BY ASSANGE OR WIKILEAKS --- ASSANGE & ANOTHER WIKILEAK SPEAKER REFERRED TO HILLARY CLINTON"S MENTIONING POSSIBLITY OF USING DRONES AGAINST ASSANGE
Starting at 5:00 AM EDT Julian Assange started his remarks with a background and history of WikiLeaks --- he segued by saying that a major publication relevant to the United States would not begin at 3:00 AM EDT with the major material coming down at 5:00 AM EDT.
Then he said that he and WikiLeaks will need thousands of “defenders” --- mostly lawyers and others to resist pressure by powerful actors and institutions to shut down WikiLeaks.
Future publications will probably be about one million documents by the end of the year in various categories --- and there is a logjam of outlets, especially in the USA. There are significant documents including economics, defense, diplomacy and the like. Much of it will have significance in/to/and for this year’s US elections.
Julian Assange says that he has been very much misquoted by anybody stating that the upcoming releases would destroy the Clinton Campaign. He pointed out that neither he nor WikiLeaks has said or intends to destroy Hillary Clinton and/or her campaign. However, he did also say that the Wikileaks disclosures would most likely significantly impact the upcoming election by showing how various significant players operate and conduct themselves; adding “There are a lot of fascinating angles…..” Assange also pointed out that the Hillary Clinton campaign has told various media outlets not to directly view WikiLeaks, because malware would be put into their systems. Also that the Hillary Clinton campaign has been very active in trying block WikiLeaks, as well as spreading false rumors and innuendoes about WikiLeaks and Assange and what is likely to be released by WikiLeaks.
He also specifically stated that he has no affinity with Donald Trump. He says he feels sympathy for both Clinton and Trump because of how they are both driven by their ambitions.
Assange also mentioned that there would be a large release in a week. --- However, Assange said as a matter of policy and tactics he would not pre-announce whether it was the documents likely to effect the upcoming U.S. election.
It should be noted that Julian Assange and at least one other speaker did mention Hillary Clinton in connection with her comments about the use of drones to eliminate Assange and silence WikiLeaks.
That’s probably all from WikiLeaks and Julian Assange for this event…..

UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "MSM MEDIA DOGS AREN'T BARKING" EDITION
ReplyDeleteMSM JUMPS ON WIKILEAKS EVENT & JULIAN ASSANGE'S FAILURE TO DO A SIGNIFICANT NEW DROP OF HRC-ORIENTED MATERIAL --- BUT, IN SPITE OF REPEATED MENTIONS OF HRC'S ALLEGED SUGGESTION OF A DRONE STRIKE AGAINST JULIAN ASSANGE DURING THE WIKILEAKS' ANNIVERSARY PRESENTATION, THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA REMAINS VIRTUALLY SILENT ABOUT HILLARY'S QUERIES ABOUT USING DRONES TO GET ASSANGE AND SILENCE WIKILEAKS
ONLY SIGNIFICANT MENTION OF THE CLINTON-DRONE STRIKE COMMENTS IN THE MSM IS BY NEW YORK MAGAZINE
WHY ARE THE DOGS BEING SO QUIET ABOUT THIS ????
According to the New York Magazine opinionated report --- "If you spend enough time online today or tomorrow, at some point you’ll likely come across a shocking allegation: In 2010, Hillary Clinton wanted to drone-murder Julian Assange, who at the time wasn’t yet holed up in the Ecuadorian embassy in London.... The rumor comes from a little-known website called True Pundit, which published an article yesterday with the headline 'Under Intense Pressure to Silence Wikileaks, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Proposed Drone Strike on Julian Assange.'...” (See "Explaining the Viral Rumor That Hillary Clinton Wanted to Drone-Strike Julian Assange" by Jesse Singal, 10/3/16, NY Magazine/ select/all [http://nymag.com/selectall/2016/10/no-clinton-didnt-say-she-wanted-to-drone-strike-assange.html]).
The NY Mag-Select/all piece didn't mention that the "True Pundit" was picked up and disseminated by WikiLeaks, which is widely accepted as authoritative by much of the mainstream media.
Please note: This NY Mag-Select/all item was on-line prior to the WikiLeaks-Assange livestream earlier today.

MORE UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE “MORE PROOF THAT MEDIA IS IN THE TANK FOR HILLARY” EDITION
ReplyDeleteTHE NEW YORK MAGAZINE/ SELECT/ALL ARTICLE MENTIONED ABOVE LARGELY TRACKED PRO-HIILARY “FACT CHECKER” -- MEDIA MATTERS -- ARTICLE POO-POOING ANY REPORTS ABOUT THE ALLEGED HRC DISCUSSION OF ASSASSINATING JULIAN ASSANGE BY DRONE-STRIKE
MediaMatters opened its article about the alleged Hillary Clinton drone-strike talk with this: “Wikileaks and some conservative outlets are running with a claim that Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton openly speculated about targeting Wikileaks founder Julian Assange with a drone strike. But the report in question comes from an anonymously-sourced article from ‘True Pundit,’ a fringe conspiracy website that even conservatives have criticized…. On October 2, True Pundit posted an article claiming that ‘during a meeting of ‘State’s top brass’ in 2010 to discuss how to deal with Wikileaks, Clinton asked of Assange, ‘Can’t we just drone this guy?’ The site only attributes the comment to anonymous “ State Department sources.” The fact-checking website Snopes looked into the True Pundit article and found their claim ‘unproven,’ pointing out that the source of their purported Clinton quote was ‘a vague and anonymous reference that does not yield to verification.’ (It’s also unclear why multiple sources with knowledge of this supposed incident that took place in a meeting of senior State Department staff would choose to leak them to a minor conspiracy blogger rather than a credible news outlet)….” (See “Conservatives Run With Sketchy Conspiracy Website’s Utterly Baseless Claim Clinton Wanted To ‘Drone’ Assange” by Oliver Willis, 10-3-16, Media Matters [https://mediamatters.org/blog/2016/10/03/conservatives-run-sketchy-conspiracy-website-s-utterly-baseless-claim-clinton-wanted-drone-assange/213499]).
The rest of the MediaMatters article was a takedown of prior “conspiracy” stories advanced by True Pundit; and all of that appeared in the New York Magazine/ Select/all piece.
Gail, a Breitbart News story said that the Assange press conference had no new Hillary-leaks, but at the end it said that Assange, the Wiki-leaks conference MC, and the Wiki-leak and Assange lawyer all mentioned Hillary Clinton's suggestion that the US do a drone strike to eliminate Assange.
ReplyDeleteUPDATE: THE “WOW, HILLARY DOES A VERY CINTONESQUE NON-DENIAL ABOUT THE ASSANGE-DRONE REMARKS” EDITION
ReplyDeleteTHE FOLLOWING CITED REPORT IN "THE HILL" SAYS IT ALL --- HILLARY STATES THAT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A JOKE, BUT SHE REALLY COULDN’T RECALL
ADD "POLITICO" TO THE LIST OF NEWS POLITICAL NEWS OUTLETS QUOTING HILLARY'S LACK OF RECOLLECTION OF ANY COMMENTS ABOUT DRONING JULIAN ASSANGE --- BUT ALSO INSISTING THAT IF SHE DID, IT WOULD HAVE CERTAINLY BEEN A JOKE
“… ‘I don't recall any joke,’ Clinton said, when asked Tuesday at a press conference in Pennsylvania…. ‘It would have been a joke, if it had been said, but I don't recall that.’…The website TruePundit posted a report Sunday that alleged Clinton had in 2010 spoken of a drone strike against Assange…. The report cited State Department sources and claimed Clinton had said: ‘Can't we just drone this guy?’…” (See “Clinton: ‘I don’t recall any joke’ about droning Wikileaks founder” by Rebecca Savransky, 10/4/16, The Hill/ Campaign [http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/299295-clinton-i-dont-recall-any-joke-about-droning-wikileaks]). The remainder of the report in "The Hill" covers much of the same ground in this story as had been covered by many of my comments above.
You can add Politico as a media outlet reporting on HRC's odd responses concerning her alleged statement about the possibility of launching a drone attack against the WikiLeaks under virtual quarantine at the Ecuadorean Embassy in London (See "Clinton: I don’t recall joking about droning Julian Assange" by Madeline Conway, 10/4/16, Politico [http://www.politico.com/story/2016/10/hillary-clinton-julian-assange-229123]).

Watch out Gailey
ReplyDeleteA drone can hit anyone and Hillarys people monitor everything.
You may want to consider relocating from that rooftop in Greenpoint to a bunker
One of Golden's guys named Marra looks like he thinks a drone strike is in order against Congressman Dan Donovan for missing a senior citizens' event in Bay Ridge and other mini-moguls at the BRCC might agree.
ReplyDeleteIsn't Liam Ambrose MacCheese supposed to take care of that stuff?
Yeah Donovan really blew it. He'll probably end up with 82% on election day.
ReplyDeleteDonovan, eighty-two percent? Is that registered voters or likely voters?
ReplyDeleteYou surely don't mean the actual vote on election day!
Or do you?
I stand corrected. I meant Donovan will get 92% of the vote on election day. Maybe more
ReplyDeleteOMG, Frankie Marra won't like that!
ReplyDeleteIsn't Frankie Marra one of "Marty Golden Democrats"?
ReplyDeleteYes he is
ReplyDeleteDoes that mean there's some-kind of love-hate thing going-on with Golden & Donovan?
ReplyDeleteWe all know marty doesnt like any Republican infringing on him in brooklyn, whether it be malliotakis or donovan. .
ReplyDeleteTake a look at the facebook post of the Brooklyn Yr club hyping Golden as their guest speaker at the Bay Ridge Manor.." Golden is the only Brooklyn Republican elected official" it says
getting back to dandy dan. the man does seems torn
ReplyDeleteRESPONSE & QUERY: THE "VERY SUCCINCT" EDITION
ReplyDeleteTO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 8:28 PM"
