  1. Ferraro was the county chair, now hes not.

  2. RESPONSE: THE "STATUS QUO ANTE" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 8:04 PM"

When somebody is on the outside looking in, they really don't know what victory looks like.....

I've been to a couple of "Victory Nights" for taking over Brooklyn the GOP leadership --- and I was at one successorship celebration [which I walked out on]..... None of that was anything like Golden's two "time to start over again" court decisions following the 2013 Brooklyn GOP Convention and the 2015 Brooklyn GOP Convention. They ain't nothing like victories --- they are like lots more of the same for Marty and his peeps.

I'll do this slowly for you, so pay attention. Anything that leaves Craig Eaton in charge of the Brooklyn GOP apparatus as of 8/14/16 [and still counting the days, with still at least about 60 more to go...] is nobody's version of a "WIN" for Marty Golden.

  3. So right now, Craig Eaton is the Brooklyn GOP Chairman.

    ReplyDelete
  4. But the court decision doesn't mention Craig as the current chairman.

It also makes no mention of who or how there will be a new convention.

Which is just one reason why this decision will be reversed at the Appellate Division.

  5. There's at least some legal opinion that neither "side" can proceed under the conditions laid out by this judge's decision.

  6. One thing is for sure, Eaton can't pull his Arnaldo Ferraro trick again. Everybody in the county hates him and Lu-creature. They are everybody's enemies and they are done, unless Golden is stupid enough to deal with them again [don't forget Arnaldo's Simcha Felder problems].

  7. One thing is for sure. I cant tell what the f*** is going on.

It sounds like Eaton & Ferraro lost.

Gail thinks its a win, but hes Polish.

You just should stop your blog now, both craig eaton and bob capano have no relevance to the Brooklyn GOP anymore. .they are done done done.old news

  9. REPSONSE: THE "YOU SOUND A LOT LIKE RUDY GIULIANI" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 1:52 PM"

Your remarks about Craig Eaton and Bob Capano are formalistically very similar to Rudy Giuliani's silly statement that there were no successful terrorist attacks inside the U.S.A. in the eight years before President Obama and Sec/State Hillary Clinton assumed their offices.

Either you or Rudy are the same person; or you are both factually challenged in the same ways when it comes to formalizing and fleshing-out your main arguments.....

Perhaps, Rudy can be forgiven for obviously misspeaking when he completely "overlooked" 9/11/2001 -- or maybe he has a PTSD mental block about the event [odd, since he once ran for president on a platform where all his points involved a subject, a verb and 9/11].

On the other hand, you are manifestly quite aware of the two pebbles in your shoe(s) named "Eaton" and "Capano." Hint --- pebbles in one's shoes are usually very relevant; if you haven't experienced it, take my word for it. If you won't take my word for it, you need to know that the "pebble" thing ["...stone in my shoe..."] is a very >>> relevant <<< part of the story line deep into "The Godfather" saga.

  10. If Eaton has the support then he should have another convention. If Eaton does not have the support than he should file an appeal.

  11. Gail, I get it, you don’t think that Judge Walker knows what he’s doing by putting Craig Eaton back in charge of the GOP convention again. Tell me, do you or anybody else know what this guy is talking about? “All my colleagues and I ever wanted was a fair process that protected the small-d democratic process of our Republican Party. We have important legislative elections this year, Mayoral and City Council elections in 2017, and statewide races in 2018 – there’s a lot of important work to do. Judge Walker’s careful and thoughtful decision speaks for itself. Moving forward together, there need not be any more bad guys."

    ReplyDelete
  12. Ghorra stated in his press release "Moving forward together, there need not be any more bad guys".....ouch....

What is he saying, Eaton is a "bad guy"?

Not a good way to "move forward".......

He needs to suffer the same fate as Hot Dog Timmy Cochrane.....

And some day he will...as soon as he disagrees with the old man.

  13. RESPONSE: THE "IT ALL DOES HAVE A CERTAIN APPEAL TO CRAIG --- BUT SOMETIMES I DON'T KNOW WHAT PEOPLE ARE THINKING WHEN THEY SAY WHAT THEY SAY" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 10:53 PM"; "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 10:55 PM" AND "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 6:48 AM"

I'm pretty sure that Craig Eaton will quickly file his notice of appeal in this case. Among the things that he is waiting on is to see whether Arnaldo Ferraro wants to be an active [$$$$} participant. Also, at least one of the people Mr. Eaton has talked to about all of this stuff thinks that Judge Walker's decision is fatally flawed, but that it permanently blocks the selection of a new County Chairman until the next primary -- no matter what.

As for whoever wants to know about this: “All my colleagues and I ever wanted was a fair process that protected the small-d democratic process of our Republican Party. We have important legislative elections this year, Mayoral and City Council elections in 2017, and statewide races in 2018 – there’s a lot of important work to do. Judge Walker’s careful and thoughtful decision speaks for itself. Moving forward together, there need not be any more bad guys." -- that seems to be a bit of a cut and paste job from the "Brooklyn Politics" blog. The quoted material is attributed to Ted Ghorra [identified as the person shown in the huge picture at the top of the article].

That's the who..... As for the what, where, how and why Ghorra said all of it, or any of it --- my guess is that it's what Marty Golden told him to say. So it could mean anything that Marty Golden wants it to mean.

However, even if it's 100% Ghorra's own material, like I wrote above, "SOMETIMES I DON'T KNOW WHAT PEOPLE ARE THINKING WHEN THEY SAY WHAT THEY SAY...." This is one of those times

  14. A little birdie friend of mine said he just got off the phone with a Brooklyn reporter about this case and told her that with the state local races underway right now, not one Brooklyn Republican candidate has sought Craig Eaton's support/endorsement.. that in and of itself shows his irrelevance on the Brooklyn political scene.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Exactly !!!

To the comment above, its now obvious that since Trump bypassed Craig his numbers have tanked

    ReplyDelete
  16. With Craig, there was a strong nucleus of people running the Brooklyn GOP- recruiting candidates from all over the borough, working for them, having a presence in NYC. What Marty Golden gives us is his cronies to try & run the GOP and run for office--

    ReplyDelete
  17. Look at Liam McCabe....he owes his entire life and all his jobs to the Conservative Party, where his Chair is Marty's Chief of Staff, and he was PAID to collect petitions for Marty Golden. There is something reallllly wrong with that picture.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Something tells me there are big changes in store for marty next year , including the council race, and not for the good..and craig will be a key part of it..

    ReplyDelete
  19. Craig Eaton is a very smart guy who assembled petty morons around him that alienated a lot of good people who used to be on his side.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Gail, I think I get it, again. If Ghorra said what Marty told him to say, you don't know what it means. If Ghorra was speaking on his own, you still don't know what it means. Why didn't you just tell the commenter who asked you the question about Ghorra's quote in the Brooklyn Politics blog a simple, "I don't know"? Is Eaton paying you by the word?

    ReplyDelete
  21. If Capano thinks he is being helped by eaton he is wrong..kassar gave bob a call this week to try and talk some sense in to him and "bag boy bobby" just foolishly pledged his loyalty to craig and something about some friendship with him..there goes Bobs chances of running next year.

    ReplyDelete
  22. More misinformation being peddled by comment at 3:20. Kassar and Capano have a good relationship and if Kassar thought Capano had a chance he would be with him. If Kassar really spoke with him it was to tell him to come to his senses stay on Staten Island or put some pressure on expiditing the real estate agents he is using for scouting potential places in Queens should the Brooklyn gig not pan out.

  23. RESPONSE: THE "I DON'T KNOW NOTHIN' 'BOUT THAT, BUT WHAT ABOUT THIS ???" EDITION

DID BROOKLN GOP STATE SENATOR MARTY GOLDEN ACTUALLY GIVE A "LIKE" TO BRANDON WASHINGTON'S FACEBOOK ENDORSEMENT OF SI GOP INSURGENT JANINE MATERNA IN HER PRIMARY RUN AT SI GOP INCUMBENT ASSEMBLYMEMBER RON CASTORINA ?????

I'LL BET RON CASTORINA WILL HAVE A SOFTER SPOT IN HIS HEART FOR THE STALKER THAT'S MADE HIM MISERABLE LATELY THAN HE DOES FOR THE BROOKLYN YOUNG REPUBLICAN CLUB PRESIDENT AND HIS SOLID BACKER BROOKLYN GOP STATE SENATOR GOLDEN

My original source on this gave me a contact for more information and the whole story is even bigger than my headlines above.

You see this isn't the first time that SSMG and his affiliated Brooklyn Young Republican Club have stuck their nose in Staten Island Republican politics. Several months ago the Brooklyn YR club announced a meeting/fund-raiser for Ms. Materna at a Brooklyn location. Since, Golden was known to be closely involved with Mr. Washington and his Brooklyn YR Club, Castorina hit the roof and gave both the Brooklyn GOP State Senator and his Conservative Party Chief of Staff an earful. As a result Washington and his Brooklyn Young Republican Club backed off and only presented Janine Materna as a speaker.

This endorsement by the President of the Brooklyn Young Republican Club should re-ignite the train of powder directly to the keg of Albany dynamite that was narrowly avoided last time.

If Marty actually attached a FaceBook "LIKE" to Brandon Washington's Materna endorsement ---- LOOK OUT AND STAND CLEAR !!!!

  24. Golden is nothing but a conservative party puppet which is old, frayed and drunk....

    ReplyDelete
  25. Jerry Kassar has no business trying to talk Capano out of any race in the Republican Party for City Council from the 43rd Council District.

  26. RESPONSE: THE "MY MAN IN HIGH PLACES TOLD ME" EDITION

TO: SOMEBODY WHO MENTIONED THIS STUFF ABOVE SOMEHWERE

I SWORE NOT TO MENTION NAMES BUT: SOMEBODY WHOSE NAME RHYMES WITH "GUITAR" LEFT SOMEBODY WHOSE NAME RHYMES WITH "SOPRANO" A MESSAGE ABOUT GETTING ON BOARD WITH SOMEBODY WHOSE NAME LOOKS LIKE AN ABBREVIATION FOR THE HUFFY VERSION OF THE WORD "GORILLA" [YOU KNOW -- "GHHORRILLA"]

That's right, someone on the inside with BC told me that somebody else on the inside with NYSSMG left my most talked about City Council candidate, BC, a message. It was about getting on board with Ted Ghorra. Then the very same City Council candidate left a voice message back to the Golden insider saying Craig Eaton was his "friend" and together the City Council candidate and Eaton would work to bring new leadership to the Brooklyn GOP.

    OOPS !!! --- I think I just used some names..... but, at least, I didn't use Kassar's.....

    ReplyDelete
  27. This endorsement does not look good for McCabe..he just spoke at this clubs meeting and was the cook for their BBQ , which was advertised all over facebook. This really puts him on the spot.

    ReplyDelete
  28. This puts Golden, Ghorra, McCaba, Kassar and all those who fully support (and actually control) the rogue Brooklyn YR Club. This is proof that Ghorra has no balls since Eaton would have pulled the plug on this if it was his YR Club.

This is just another example of Golden, Ghorra, etc being out of touch. Doing whatever they want, whenever they want, without regard for the Republican Party, without regard for Republican elected officials and Republican candidates.

This was a true test for Ghorra and he FAILED. I guess Marty didnt want him to do anything.

    ReplyDelete
  29. This was a real unforced error by Goldens YR Club..it is not good for them, Quaglione, McCabe, Ghorra, etc. Everyone knows they control or are big supporters of the club..this will have big repercussions moving forward.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Give me a break. Do you really think Ted Ghorra has a clue about Brooklyn Young Republicans other than that one of them, wasn't it this guy Washington himself, got involved in the case in front of Judge Walker on Ghorra's and Golden's behalf?

I bet that Ghorra would be shocked to find out that there are two separate Brooklyn Young Republican organizations, with ONLY ONE OF THEM supporting & supported by Ghorra & Golden. And that the one called the Brooklyn YRs, talked about running one of their own in a primary against Marty Golden earlier this year. Too bad they didn't do it, if they'd gotten onto the GOP ballot, they'd be well on their way toward being the GOP candidate instead of Marty Golden; and John Ciampoli would be stuck back in front of Judge Walker and probably going to the Court of Appeals defending Marty Golden's very bad election petition.

  31. I hear Castorina is not at all happy with mr. Golden

    ReplyDelete
  32. Anonymous at 717....if what you say is true, that Ghora does even have clue (which I dont think he has - except for being on a Committee to Fill vacancies which he brags to people about as his experience in the GOP - LOL)then he is even sadder and less worthy of being Chairman than I originally thought
