UPDATE: THE "A COUPLE OF OTHER GOP CANDIDATES ARE ON THE MOVE" EDITION
MARCO RUBIO SLIGHTLY AHEAD OF OTHER GOP CANDIDATES FOR POTUS
RUBIO ALSO CLOSING IN ON HILLARY CLINTON IN THREE (3) BATTLEGROUND STATES --- BUT, RAND PAUL ACTUALLY LEADS HILLARY IN PENNSYLVANIA AND TIES HER IN OHIO, WHILE KASICH BEATS HER IN OHIO
A Quinnipiac University Swing State Poll finds that Hillary Clinton and Marco Rubio are close in Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Noteworthy is the fact that Hillary loses to some Republican candidate in both Ohio and Pennsylvania.
According to the folks doing the polling at Quinnipiac, "U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida runs best against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2016 presidential matchups with eight top Republican contenders in three critical swing states, Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania, according to a Quinnipiac University Swing State Poll released today. Voters in each state say by margins of 8 to 14 percentage points that the Democratic front-runner is not honest and trustworthy.... Clinton still leads or is in a too-close-to-call matchup in every race in each state, except for Ohio, where native son Gov. John Kasich leads 47 - 40 percent, the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University Poll finds. The Swing State Poll focuses on Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania because since 1960 no candidate has won the presidential race without taking at least two of these three states.... Clinton's favorability ratings are 47 - 45 percent in Florida, negative 44 - 48 percent in Ohio and 46 - 48 percent in Pennsylvania.... She is not honest and trustworthy, Florida voters say 51 - 43 percent, Ohio voters say 53 - 40 percent and Pennsylvania voters say 54 - 40 percent...." TODAY’S BREITBART NEWS REPORTS THIS: HILLARY CLINTON SAYS DONALD TRUMP’S PRESIDENTIAL ANNOUNCEMENT SPEECH CAUSED THE DEATHS OF NINE WORSHIPERS IN CHARLESTON’S EMANUEL A.M.E. CHURCH
BREITBART NEWS CASTS HILLARY CLINTON AS JUST ANOTHER BARKING DOG IN A PACK OF RABID LEFT-WINGERS BAYING AT THE MOON OF LEFT-PERCEIVED BOGEYMEN, IN THIS CASE LIKE DONALD TRUMP
Here’s the Brietbart buzz: “[Sub-headline] On Thursday, 2016 Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton blamed the Charleston, South Carolina church shootings by racist Dylann Roof on the rhetoric of 2016 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.... [Text] Speaking with host John Ralston, she explained, “Public discourse is sometimes hotter and more negative than it should be, which can, in my opinion, trigger someone who is less than stable.” She continued, “I think we have to speak out against it. Like, for example, a recent entry into the Republican presidential campaign said some very inflammatory things about Mexicans. Everybody should stand up and say that’s not acceptable.”... Presumably, Hillary was referencing Trump’s comments during his announcement speech in which he said Mexico was sending people across the border....” (See “HILLARY CLINTON: DONALD TRUMP’S SPEECH DRIVES CHARLESTON-LIKE VIOLENCE” by Ben Shapiro, 6/19/15, Brietbart News [http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2015/06/19/hillary-clinton-donald-trumps-speech-drives-charleston-like-violence/]
According to Ben Shapiro at Breitbart this is what’s wrong with what Hillary was talking about: “Dylann Roof murdered nine people at a historically black church. There are no reports he was a fan of Donald Trump, or that Roof shot six black women and three black men after being inspired by Trump’s rhetoric about Hispanic illegal immigrants.... But facts have no bearing on such nonsensical arguments. This hatred for the First Amendment – the European notion that freedom of speech must be curtailed in order to avoid triggering the unstable or evil – has become a hallmark of the left....”
UPDATE: THE “DONALD TRUMP PUSHES BACK ON HILLARY CLINTON” EDITION
GOP PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE DONALD TRUMP CALLS HILLARY CLINTON “PRETTY PATHETIC” AND A “POLITICIAN[ WHO IS] JUST NO GOOD” — AND OVERALL TRUMP PROCLAIMS THAT “HILLARY CLINTON REACHES NEW LOW”
On Friday morning, Trump posted a video on Instagram responding to Clinton's comments, according to The Washington Times.... ‘Wow, it's pretty pathetic that Hillary Clinton just blamed me for the horrendous attack that took place in South Carolina. This is why politicians are just no good. Our country's in trouble,’ he said in the short clip titled, "Hillary Clinton reaches new low.’...” ( See “Trump: 'Pretty Pathetic' for Hillary to Blame Me for SC Shooting” by Melanie Batley, 6/19/15, Newsmax [http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/donald-trump-hillary-clinton-church-shooting-mexicans/2015/06/19/id/651373/]; see also “Hillary Clinton suggests Donald Trump-like rhetoric can ‘trigger someone’ like Dylann Roof” by Jessica Chasmar, 6/19/15, The Washington Times [http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/jun/19/hillary-clinton-suggests-donald-trump-like-rhetori/#ixzz3dWuV8rfu]).
In addition, according to a report by Alex Swoyer of Breitbart News, Sam Nunberg, a spokesperson for Mr. Trump, said the GOP candidate for the presidency canceled a sold-out campaign event in South Carolina after getting news of the shooting. Nunberg added that Mr. Trump sent his prayers and condolences to the people of South Carolina.
Also according to the Breitbart report, Mr Nunberg addressed Hillary Clinton’s remarks as follows: “At this time of national sorrow, a responsible leader should be focused on uniting and healing the country.... Mr. Trump believes that Hillary Clinton does not have any credibility when she blames words for violence. This is the same politician who lied to the world after she failed to take proper steps to secure the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi and falsely blamed the radical Islamic attack on a YouTube video. This is the same person who illegally deleted her emails after getting a subpoena from the U.S. Congress....” Also it is "totally inappropriate" for Clinton to use the Charleston church shooting tragedy to attack a political opponent; finally saying that "She must be nervous about something," Mr. Nunberg said --- hinting that Hillary Clinton must have felt threatened in some way by Donald Trump's entry into the presidential race (See “TRUMP CAMPAIGN RESPONDS TO HILLARY LINKING HIM TO SOUTH CAROLINA SHOOTING: ‘SHE MUST BE NERVOUS’ ” by Alex Swoyer, 6/19/15, Breitbart News [http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/06/19/trump-campaign-responds-to-hillary-linking-him-to-south-carolina-shooting-she-must-be-nervous/]).
