Hillary Clinton needs to stop ducking the health issue right now

Before she does any more talking about the presidency in 2016,  Hillary Clinton needs to come forward with her complete medical history and show that she is a healthy enough sixty-eight year old to run for President

After all, how healthy can Hillary Clinton be, if  “She has to be carefully monitored for the rest of her life” ?

It has been known for over a year that “Hillary Clinton’s health issues [were] drastically worse than she [had] revealed publicly — and the [ ] presidential candidate [has] tried to keep her medical information private for fear that it would damage her bid for the White House in 2016, according to [“Blood Feud: The Clintons vs. the Obamas,” by Edward Klein]....”  Furthermore, [the 68-year-old]  former secretary of state has suffered more fainting spells than publicly known, is prone to have blood clots, and may be at serious risk of a stroke, according to [Klein’s] book....
The medical scare that forced Clinton to be rushed to New York-Presbyterian Hospital on Dec. 30, 2013, revealed how serious the situation is....  (See “Hillary’s Heath Issues are Much Worse than She lets on...” by Joe Tacopina, 5/22/14, NY Post [http://nypost.com/2014/06/23/hillarys-health-issues-are-much-worse-than-she-lets-on-book/]).

WHAT DOCTOR MARC SIEGAL SAYS

Flash forward to about a month ago, when [Hillary Clinton] has just announced her candidacy for president. Journalists deserve the same opportunity to pore over Hillary Clinton's medical records that we had for John McCain, but will we be given the chance? When she developed a blood clot outside her brain (transverse sinus thrombosis) in 2012, I contacted her neurologist, but was not given the same access to health information that I had when I was working on a story for The Washington Post and interviewing former President Clinton's heart surgeon after his bypass surgery in 2004....  Hillary's blood clot might have formed due to rest after head trauma and a concussion, though not as a direct result of the fall. She was placed on blood thinners and, with a prior history of a clot in her leg, she is likely to still be on them. She may well have an underlying tendency to form blood clots....” ( See “Hillary's health needs dose of transparency” by  Marc Siegel, 4/16/15, USA Today [http://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2015/04/16/hillary-clinton-health-concerns-medical-records-column/25764577/]).  As a presidential candidate, Clinton should release her medical records.

HILLARY'S ALREADY COMPLEX MEDICAL HISTORY DURING TIME SHE WAS SECRETARY OF STATE

Now, back to Ed Klein’s book. He claims that Hillary was taken to New YorkPresbyterian after a fainting spell and concussion that she suffered in her seventh-floor office at the State Department — not at her home, as claimed.  Also according to Klein, Hillary was initially treated at a State Department facility and was transferred to her home to recover. Bill Clinton, however, insisted Hillary be flown to New York City and be treated by specialists there.

During her visit to the upper Manhattan hospital, the presumed 2016 Democratic front-runner was diagnosed with several problems, including the clots. Hillary had a right transverse venous thrombosis, or a blood clot, between her brain and skull. “The unique thing about clotting in the brain is that it could have transformed into a stroke,” a cardiac specialist with knowledge of Hillary’s condition says in Klein’s book.  Those kinds of clots are especially a threat while flying, when blood pools while sitting, and Hillary Clinton certainly did a lot of flying while Secretary of State.  While at the State Department, Hillary Clinton was know to have had three significant falls.

All of that and much more needs to be put out there for all to see.

Hillary is too old for all this; she's only a grandmother, but she's plenty old enough to be a great-grandmother.

  2. She is the same age as Reagan when he took office and Hillary is only 5 years older than Jeb Bush.

SO, WHERE ARE YOUR MEDICAL RECORDS. MRS. CLINTON ?

IT WAS ALMOST A YEAR AGO THAT HILLARY CLINTON PROMISED DIANE SAWYER THAT SHE WOULD RELEASE HER MEDICAL RECORDS WHEN SHE ANNOUNCED THAT SHE WAS RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT — THAT ANNOUNCEMENT HAPPENED OVER A MONTH AGO

MEANWHILE IN HILLARY’S ONGOING PERSONAL SOAP OPERA — GRANDMA CLINTON IMITATES THE SAND SLIPPING THROUGH THE HOURGLASS — LIKE — “THE DAYS OF OUR LIVES”

    TICK-TOCK ! – TICK-TOCK ! – TICK-TOCK ! – TICK-TOCK ! – TICK-TOCK ! .....
[ OMG ! — BOTH ONOMATOPOEIA – AND – A MIXED METAPHOR ABOUT THE SOUND OF SAND IN AN HOURGLASS.... ]

It was just about one year ago when the Republican pundit-strategist-Super-pac operator, Karl Rove made a big issue out of whether Hillary Clinton was healthy enough to run for President of the United States in 2016. At the time, Hillary responded much more forcefully than she has with any of the scandals that have popped-up since she did announce her candidacy last month. The problem is that Hillary now owes everybody something that arose in last year’s flap over her health — she promised America her health records, if she actually announced that she was running for President. So, where are your medical records Mrs. Clinton ?

This was how CNN covered it at the time — “Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who has been dogged by Republican questions about her health and age as she mulls a run at the presidency in 2016, told ABC in an interview on Friday that her health is "very good."... Clinton added that she had "no lingering effects" from a late-2012 health scare in which she suffered a blood clot as the result of a fall. Karl Rove, the well-known Republican strategist, questioned whether Clinton was healthy enough to run for president, something the former first lady is admittedly considering.... ( See “Hillary Clinton on releasing medical records: 'I would do what other candidates have done' ” by Dan Merica, 6/6/14, CNN/ Political Ticker [http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2014/06/06/hillary-clinton-on-releasing-medical-records-i-would-do-what-other-candidates-have-done/]).

The CNN article about the Sawyer-Clinton medical records interview also contained these details: “... If she runs, Clinton said she would release her medical records.... ‘I would do what other candidates have done, absolutely,’ she told ABC's Diane Sawyer in a clip that aired Friday. The full interview, which is part of Clinton's upcoming memoir tour, will air on Monday, June 9, the day before ‘Hard Choices’ hits bookshelves.... In the interview, Clinton described the fall and the recovery at length.... ‘It was, I think, a serious concussion,’ Clinton said. ‘Because of the force of the fall, I had double vision for a short period of time and I had some dizziness.’... She said she did not have headaches or any trouble talking.... Because of Clinton's history of blood clots - she suffered a large blood clot behind her right knee and was rushed to Bethesda Naval Hospital outside Washington in 1998 - the former senator said she will probably be on blood thinners for the rest of her life....”

  5. "Hmmm, right wing photo shopping?"

    I don't think so....

The same person that said "Hillary on Montague Street in Brooklyn yesterday. She looks much younger in person" also suggested the photo shopping.

Remember one picture is worth a thousand words.... One photo of Hillary [always with Huma nearby -- And WHY is that?] look at Hillary's hands and arms pointing straight down -- it looks like Asperger's ....

  7. BACKFILL: THE “SERIOUS CONCUSSION TO- & BLOOD CLOT ON- HILLARY'S BRAIN” EDITION

A YEAR AGO BOTH BILL AND HILLARY CLINTON WERE TALKING ABOUT HILLARY’S RECOVERY FROM SERIOUS HEALTH CONDITIONS — ALSO HILLARY MENTIONED THE NEED FOR TAKING BLOOD THINNERS FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE

DISPUTE BETWEEN BILL CLINTON’S TIMELINE AND THAT OF THE STATE DEPARTMENT

About one year ago, during a question-and-answer session at the Peterson Foundation in Washington, and in response to a question concerning his wife Hillary Clinton’s being unlikely to run for president because of “brain damage,” former president Bill Clinton “revealed that his wife's injury ‘required six months of very serious work to get over....’ (See “Hillary Clinton Took 6 Months to 'Get Over' Concussion, Bill Says of Timeline” by Mary Bruce, 5/14/14, ABC News [http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2014/05/hillary-clinton-took-6-months-to-get-over-concussion-bill-says-of-timeline/]). In the ABC article about Bill Clinton’s comments, it was noted that the timeline discussed by the former president was different from the one put out by the post-Hillary Clinton State Department.

That was shortly before Hillary Clinton’s own interview with Diane Sawyer, in which Mrs. Clinton described her concussion as “SERIOUS” (See “Hillary Clinton: 'No Lingering Effects’ From ‘Serious' Concussion” by Chris Good, 6/6/15, ABC News [http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2014/05/hillary-clinton-took-6-months-to-get-over-concussion-bill-says-of-timeline/]). According to that ABC report, “... Ill and dehydrated while suffering from a stomach virus in December 2012, Clinton fainted and fell at her home, sustaining a concussion, her spokesman and doctors announced. After a follow-up exam revealed a blood clot in her head, requiring blood thinners and another hospital stay, Clinton returned work Jan. 7, 2013.... Clinton told Sawyer that her concussion was “serious” and that she experienced double vision and dizziness for a “short period” afterward. She also revealed that she will likely take blood thinners for the rest of her life....”
