She said she turned over all her State Department E-mails, but wouldn’t give up the private E-mails on her private server... Then her lawyer says that all her E-mails on the server were scrubbed ! She said she followed all the State Department rules.... Er, she didn’t ! She said she did it all to only use one kind of E-mail device.... But she didn’t do that either !
The unbelievable stuff that Hillary Clinton and her lawyers have said about her E-Mails is really beginning to pile up

HILLARY USED MULTIPLE DEVICES FOR E-MAILS
According to a report on CNN, “... Hillary Clinton emailed her staff with multiple devices while serving as secretary of state, according to a source with knowledge of the emails, a revelation that raises questions about a main defense Clinton has used in her email controversy....” (See “Source: Clinton used iPad for personal email at State” by Dan Merica, 3/31/15, CNN
[http://www.cnn.com/2015/03/31/politics/hillary-clinton-ipad-e-mail-devices/]).
CNN specifically noted the following: “Clinton's exclusive use of a personal email account and server while at State has grown into a controversy that has defined the run up to Clinton's expected April presidential announcement. In a press conference at the United Nations earlier this month, Clinton explained that she used a personal email because she only wanted to have one phone, not two. *** ‘When I got to work as secretary of state, I opted for convenience to use my personal email account, which was allowed by the State Department,’ Clinton said, ‘because I thought it would be easier to carry just one device for my work and for my personal emails instead of two.’ *** She added: ‘Looking back, it would've been better if I'd simply used a second email account and carried a second phone, but at the time, this didn't seem like an issue.’..."
TREY GOWDY TELLS HILLARY’S LAWYER TO PRODUCE HIS CLIENT FOR RECORDED TESTIMONY BY MAY FIRST [5/1/15]
CNN also reported on this: “Clinton's iPad revelation comes the same day that Trey Gowdy, Chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, sent a letter to Clinton's lawyer requesting that the former secretary of state appear before the panel for a transcribed interview on her email usage. *** ‘This Committee is left with no alternative but to request Secretary Clinton appear before this Committee for a transcribed interview to better understand decisions the Secretary made relevant to the creation, maintenance, retention, and ultimately deletion of public records,’ Gowdy said in a letter to David E. Kendall. ‘The Committee is willing to schedule the interview at a time convenient for Secretary Clinton, but no later than May 1, 2015.’ *** Gowdy also said that if Clinton ‘continues to reject the offer of a neutral review, the House of Representatives as a whole will need to consider its next steps.’...”After discussing the scope of Gowdy’s Select Congressional Committee’s prior subpoenas, CNN mentioned this: “Gowdy said in his letter that once there is a ‘reasonable assurance’ that Clinton had control of her documents, the panel could ‘schedule her appearance in a public hearing to constructively discuss these topics.’...”
WASHINGTON POST COVERAGE OF THE LATEST E-MAIL DISCLOSURE SEEMS SOMEWHAT SKEPTICAL
The Washington Post report about this most recent contradiction of remarks that Hillary made at her U.N. press conference about her E-mails is somewhat more critical and incredulous than what appeared on CNN.The WaPo report starts off like this: “Hillary Clinton, who defended her use of a private e-mail server by saying she only wanted to use one device for all her correspondence, actually used at least two devices: her regular mobile phone and an iPad. *** That's according to a report from the Associated Press, which reviewed Clinton's e-mails released by the State Department. There were only four messages to see. But it was enough for the AP to conclude that Clinton not only used an iPad to send e-mails — she mixed work and personal e-mails on the tablet, too....” (See “Hillary Clinton also used an iPad for e-mails, undercutting her single-device defense” by Brian Fung, 3/31/15, Washington Post/ The Switch [http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-switch/wp/2015/03/31/hillary-clinton-also-used-an-ipad-for-e-mails-undercutting-her-single-device-defense/]).
After specifically mentioning an exchange of public-private messages between Huma Abedin and then-Secretary of State Clinton, the Washington Post writer Brian Fung said this: “The anecdote undercuts Clinton's argument for having a private, nongovernmental e-mail server. Weeks ago, she said that it seemed "easier to carry one device for my work… instead of two." The iPad revelation suggests that as secretary of state, Clinton sent work e-mail on more than one device. (Previously, Slate wrote about the many devices of Hillary Clinton, including an iPad mini and iPod.[parenthetical remarks in WaPo article] )....”
Brian Fung’s concluding observation was “how odd it is that Clinton felt compelled to have a separate e-mail server...” ostensibly so Secretary Clinton would only need to operate one E-mail device, when so many Americans needed to do exactly that because of their work demands — and now it appears, so did Hillary herself.

On Feb. 3, Clinton led Bush in Florida 44 percent to 43 percent. *** In Ohio, Clinton leads all Republicans, but some, like Chris Christie, are gaining ground. Really Gale, you remind me of the fiddler playing Nearer My God to Thee on the Titanic while it sinks. We have learned from your blog this week that your local Republican Party has no money, no place to hang its hat, and no clout. ReplyDeleteUPDATE: THE “FIRST FORMAL MOVE BY OBAMA ADMINISTRATION AGAINST HILLARY CLINTON” EDITION
ReplyDeleteSTATE DEPARTMENT PROBERS FINALLY LOOKING AT HILLARY
STATE DEPARTMENT INSPECTOR GENERAL OPENS INVESTIGATION OF HILLARY CLINTON’S E-MAILS AND RELATED MATTERS
According to a Tuesday report in “The Hill,” that news magazine has confirmed that the State Department has begun an inquiry into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s E–Mail setup, following calls from Republicans about former Secretary of State’s exclusive use of a private E-Mail address and server during her tenure at the State Department ( See “State Dept IG probing Clinton email setup” by Megan R. Wilson, 3/31/15, The Hill [http://thehill.com/homenews/237459-state-department-ig-probing-clinton-e-mail-practices]).
The State Department’s IG has received other requests to look into former Secretary of State Clinton’s operations, stemming from questions that arose before the recent revelations about her personal email setup. One such request was from Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, which questioned the special government employee (SGE) designation given to Clinton adviser Huma Abedin, because Abedin also worked for Teneo, a corporate advisory and business intelligence firm, while serving at the State Department.
More recently, amid questions about the State Department’s record-keeping practices, Secretary of State Kerry has asked that the State Department's Inspector General conduct an investigation of the State Department’s ability to archive official documents. And in addition, the National Archives and Records Administration has also sought an explanation from the State Department as to how it has ensured that all of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s official communications were properly collected and stored.
Related matters that also might be investigated concern whether proper procedures were followed in processing Hillary Clinton’s departure from her post as Secretary of State, and her turnover and certification of documents at that time.
Now that Secretary of State Kerry has weighed in an directed his State Department Inspector General to look into things like whether there are necessary and appropriate rules “in place” to guarantee the preservation of official documents by State Department employees including the Secretary of State, the appropriate Congressional Oversight Committee needs to conduct a parallel investigation to keep Kerry and his IG honest.
ReplyDeleteAnybody who watched State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki in action knew that the State Department under Hillary Clinton was pretty much a rogue operation that played by its own rules, if it played by any at all.
One of the things that needs to be followed up by congressional inquisitors is the issue of Hillary Clinton’s OF 109 separation statement. The mainstream press was glad to let that hot potato drop after Ms. Psaki said that there is no record of any OF 109 having been signed by Hillary Clinton.
Psaki said that was because “... there’s a long tradition of secretaries of state making themselves available to future secretaries and presidents and secretaries are typically allowed to maintain their security clearance and access to their own records for use in writing their memoirs and the like.... Hence, this is not a form that many would have signed....” Also Psaki has said that in addition to not finding Hillary Clinton’s OF 109 form, State Department record keepers have said that the department has no record that former Secretaries of State Condoleezza Rice or Colin Powell signed separation statements upon their departure either.
There is a problem with that, Secretary of State James Baker, himself a top Washington lawyer, said that the State Department rules governing the signing of an OF 109 form upon separation, do cover the Secretary; and he did sign such an OF 109 statement.
Jen Psaki’s spin might be enough for most of the MSM and lots of gullible Democrat loyalists, but it shouldn’t be for congress and people who care about America. Both Hillary Clinton and a responsible representative of the State Department need to explain to a congressional oversight committee why Hillary Clinton’s OF 109 separation statement is not in the file. And if one wasn’t ever signed, why not.
Your blathering on above is so completely irrelevant to who should be our next president that it borders on ludicrous. American voters care about jobs, quality of living, ensuring a secure retirement, education, national security and equal rights including immigration reform. No one cares about your nonsense GOP radical right Conspiracy theories. Hillary is the most qualified person to lead our nation and I suspect you GOPers realize that. UPDATE: THE “MARTIN O’MALLEY SAYS HILLARY NEEDS TO BE MORE OPEN ABOUT HER E-MAILS” EDITION
ReplyDeleteBREITBART NEWS TIES O’MALLEY’S CHALLENGE OF HILLARY TO GOWDY’S FOCUSED INVESTIGATION AND HILLARY’S DROP IN THE POLLS
Here’s the gist [or is that grist] of a Breitbart report about Martin O’Malley’s throwing down the gauntlet to Hillary Clinton regarding her 50 year quest to be president. “... Hillary Clinton is entering a legitimate danger zone on a number of fronts. One of the reasons Democrats have stood by her throughout this email scandal has been her poll numbers against all potential GOP challengers. Democrats had convinced themselves that voters wouldn’t care about the scandal, or at least that was the public spin. *** No more....” And then the article went on to this provocative point: “For weeks after the email controversy broke, Martin O’Malley, a potential Clinton challenger for the Democrat nomination, was mum on the email scandal. *** No more....” ( See “Hillary’s in Trouble: O’Malley Blasts, Polls Plummet, Subpoenas Loom” by John Nolte, 4/1/15, Breitbart News [http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/04/01/hillarys-in-trouble-omalley-blasts-polls-plummet-subpoenas-loom/]).
John Nolte’s article for Breitbart News went on to say, “... [Governor] O’Malley assumed a very aggressive stance Tuesday saying if Clinton has nothing to hide she should come forward and talk openly about it. This is just two days after O’Malley said of Bush and Clinton, ‘The presidency of the United States is not some crown to be passed between two families.’....”
WHAT HAS SUDDENLY MADE O’MALLEY SO AGGRESSIVE ? COULD IT BE THE DELIBERATE AND CALCULATED BOXING-IN OF FORMER SECRETARY OF STATE CLINTON ON BENGHAZI AND HER E-MAILS ?
Other than what is obviously becoming a pattern of improper concealment and other wrongdoing, and the fact that, unlike Whitewater, cattle futures and adultery, operating a secret email server, and then deleting emails when under Congressional scrutiny is an easy scandal for the public understand, there is also the matter of Trey Gowdy. Unlike the media, Gowdy is determined to uncover the truth about Hillary’s thus-far secret emails, and Clinton’s and Obama’s Benghazi cover-up. And for the first time, it looks like the Clintons and the Obama Administration might have met their match.
At least all of Hillary’s problems for the last month have given Governor Martin O’Malley an opening to weigh-in directly against Hillary Clinton’s strategy of hiding outside of the ring, and avoiding the hard punches and clinches.
REPUBLICANS CAN NOW QUOTE AND PARAPHRASE O’MALLEY TO DEFEND AGAINST ANY CLAIMS OF PARTISANSHIP
In return, when Hillary’s folks complain about how all of the brouhaha is something concocted by Republicans, they can answer that another leading Democrat has said that if Hillary had nothing to hide she would have come forward and talked about it more openly.
You really give me a headache Gale. O'Malley is having his 15 minutes of fame. He has an ego the size of Cork and will say and do anything to be in the spotlight. 74 percent of Maryland voters can't stand him and he has zero name recognition nationally. He should have had the good sense to say he will run for Mikulski's seat when Hillary opened that door for him.

ReplyDeleteUPDATE: THE “HILLARY CLINTON E-MAILS STORY NOW ON CRUZ CONTROL” EDITION
ReplyDeleteTED CRUZ SAYS THAT HILLARY PROBABLY BROKE THE LAW — AND STRONGLY SUGGESTS THAT HILLARY CLINTON IS A CRIMINAL
COLIN CAMPBELL REPORTS THAT THE ONLY DECLARED CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT IN 2016 SAYS HILLARY CLINTON “PROBABLY VIOLATED FEDERAL LAW WHEN SHE DELETED A HUGE TROVE OF EMAILS” — AND SHE MIGHT EVEN HAVE ENGAGED IN “CRIMINAL CONDUCT”
CRUZ CALLS ON CONGRESSIONAL COMMITTEE TO DO “... A CAREFUL, SOBER ASSESSMENT ABOUT WHETHER THE CONDUCT THAT [HILLARY CLINTON] HAS ADMITTED TO IS DIRECTLY CONTRARY TO FEDERAL LAW”
In an interview with Dana Loesch, the only declared GOP candidate for president — in fact, the only declared candidate for president in the U.S.A., Texas Senator Ted Cruz — strongly suggested what many Americans have long believed, that Hillary Clinton is a criminal.
A Colin Campbell report for the Business Insider quotes Ted Cruz, the only declared candidate for president in 2015, as saying the following: "It is long past time for a fair and impartial investigation into what occurred here. Based on what she has admitted publicly, it appears that Secretary Clinton's conduct was in violation of federal law and may have even constituted criminal conduct...." (See “TED CRUZ: Hillary Clinton's mass email deletion could be 'criminal conduct' ” by Colin Campbell, 4/1/15, The Business Insider
[http://www.businessinsider.com/ted-cruz-hillary-clinton-apparently-broke-the-law-2015-4]).
Campbell’s article went on to say “... Cruz, a former Justice Department lawyer, was reacting to a question from conservative radio host Dana Loesch who said Clinton deleted her emails ‘after they had been subpoenaed.’....”
Business Insider also reported on observations that Ted Cruz made about the possible prosecution of Mrs. Clinton. According to Colin Campbell, Cruz isn't optimistic that the Department of Justice will pursue criminal charges against Clinton, because Cruz says that Attorney General Eric Holder is so "politicized." On that point, Campbell specifically quoted the GOP presidential candidate as follows:"Unfortunately, with the Holder Justice Department, we have the most politicized Department of Justice we've ever seen. And there's no meaningful prospect of a fair and impartial investigation.... So it is my hope that [the] House Oversight [committee] will begin to shine a light on this. But what really needs to occur is a careful, sober assessment about whether the conduct that she has admitted to is directly contrary to federal law."
According to the Colin Campbell report, when reached for comment on the allegations by Senator Cruz that the deletion of the server may have been criminal, Clinton spokesperson Nick Merrill told Business Insider he would simply stick to his past statements on the matter; also Clinton's lawyer, David Kendall, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

ReplyDeleteLOOK WHO’S TALKING — HILLARY CHANNELS HER INNER JOHN TRAVOLTA — OR WOULD THAT BE KIRSTIE ALLEY — “GOO-GOO, GAH-GAH” — “POO-POO, PEE-PEE”
ANOTHER INAUTHENTIC HILLARY MOMENT — TRYING TO BUY HER WAY INTO POOR WOMEN’S HEARTS
A very matronly grandma Hillary Clinton decided to make an appearance deep in the heart of Brownsville Brooklyn. According to a report in the New York Observer, “... Hillary Clinton was in Brooklyn today, the borough where she’ll reportedly look to headquarter the presidential bid she’s expected to announce any day now. *** But today, Ms. Clinton said, wasn’t for talking about politics. It was for talking about babies. Or rather, talking to babies....” (See “Hillary Clinton Talks Babies, But Not Presidential Bid, in Brooklyn” by Jillian Jorgensen | 4/01/15, NY Observer [http://observer.com/2015/04/hillary-clinton-talks-babies-but-not-presidential-bid-in-brooklyn/]).
APPEARANCE IS PART OF HILLARY’S STRATEGY OF “HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT” — ALONG WITH BUYING HER WAY INTO THE HEARTS OF MINORITIES AND THOSE ILL-EQUIPPED FOR PARENTHOOD
The former Secretary of State, U.S. Senator and First Lady—and current front-runner for the Democratic nomination for president in 2016, was with New York City’s first lady, Chirlane McCray, ostensibly to promote a new “Talk to Your Baby” campaign at a school in Brownsville. However, the author of the artilce in the observer pointed out that “... [a]t the close of the event, which did not include questions from the press, NY1 reporter Josh Robin called out to ask if the media might see Ms. Clinton back in Brooklyn soon, perhaps for her headquarters [opening].... ‘All in good time,’ Ms. Clinton said....”
Much more was afoot than the obvious Clinton ploy of looking like she is out and about, while she keeps her distance from presidential politics and probing questions about her percolating scandals. The real purpose of the event was to make a big deal out of Hillary Clinton’s bringing some of the likely ill-gotten Clinton Foundation money into a ghetto community to curry the favor of minority mothers. However, a closer look will show that the snake oil that Hillary was peddling is a $1.5 million Clinton Foundation public relations effort involving handbooks, “book bundles” of Chirlane McCrays books, jointly produced with an educational industrial giant and posters.
“SING, SING A SONG, MAKE IT LOUD, MAKE IT STRONG...” — BUT PLEASE, DON’T MAKE IT HILLARY
Hillary did get one thing right on the day, nobody wants to hear her singing, even though she thinks that she has a good voice.
When the talk turned to Chirlane McCray’s recent success with a lullaby, Hillary confessed,
“I have to confess, I was quite envious of Chirlane the other day when she burst into song. You know, I love to sing, but nobody wants to hear me sing,” Ms. Clinton said. “We won’t ask you to sing....” Said the MC Deputy Mayor Richard Beury.
This Brownsville thing exposed Hillary Clinton’s biggest lie of all, that she cares one wit about poor children, instead of getting money and power.
ReplyDeleteHillary started as an acolyte in the Children’s Defense Fund and learned her “it’s all for the children” ideology from Miriam Wright Edelman. What Edelman openly espouses and avows is that the “it’s all for the children” mantra will be the slogan to increase ALL WELFARE AND SOCIAL SPENDING.
Here’s the truth about that big lie: no money ever goes to children, it all goes to an infinity of programs, and especially “professionals” in the programs. Hillary got her start as exactly one of those kinds of professionals for Edelman’s Children’s Defense Fund.
Here’s the proof of the big lie: Answer this, after forty-five years have things improved or gotten worse for the children of America’s underclass. Now answer this, does Hillary Clinton have (own outright) multi-millions of dollars, even more significant does Hillary Clinton have effective control of hundreds of millions of dollars by her controlling positions in foundations and other alleged “charities.”
Or to put it into a neat package:
Hillary got very rich and powerful, while she was a "professional advocate" for poor children, who at the same time got even poorer and more powerless.
Brownsville is a dump.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I cant afford to live there.
It was announced today that Hillary signed a lease for her campaign headquarters at 1 Pierrepont Plaza in Brooklyn Heights. Brooklyn a symbol of diversity, youthfulness and progress just like a Hillary presidency.
ReplyDeleteMarty Markowitz would be so proud. And Brooklyn just got more beautiful!
According to an election law expert (no not Marty Connor), Hillary must declare her candidacy within 15 days of signing the lease for her head quarters.
ReplyDeleteSooooo get ready to rumble Gale!
