The word is that some Brooklyn GOP Official failed to timely file the results of the 2014 Kings County Republican Judicial Convention with the Board of Elections
No Kings County Supreme Court Nominees to appear on the November ballot on the Republican line
After an often contentious Brooklyn GOP Judicial Convention, the GOP Judicial Delegates selected a full slate of Supreme Court Justices to be placed on the Republican line for the 2014 General Election. The results of the Judicial Convention together with the certified list of the proposed Republican candidates for Justices on the New York State Supreme Court needed to be filed with the BOE by midnight last night. That was not done; as a result, the Republican Party will not have a slate of candidates for Supreme Court Justice in 2014. Also as a result, the place for such County-wide candidates will be left completely blank on the ballot.
All three calls to me named a single person as the sole responsible individual; which name I am withholding at this time until I can verify that only one person had the duty to perform the act of filing the information about the 2014 Brooklyn Republican Judicial Convention with the Board of Elections.
Well your a regular Jimmy Fu**ing Olsen.
ReplyDeleteIf this is true the buck stops with the County Leader.
ReplyDeleteIts his responsibility.
Come on.
ReplyDeleteBy tradition, history, and job description, this was GENE BERARDELLI's fuck-up. As usual.
This clown has screwed up so bad, so often ...
He really should be asked to resign as Law Chairman.
Brilliant move.
ReplyDeleteA birdie told me that Team Golden is in crisis mode.
You see, now there is no buffer between the indicted congressman and Martin Golden.
Let's see how many southern Brooklynites vote for Recchia and ride the line all the way down.
Recchia has a better chance of winning the NYC marathon than this race.
ReplyDeleteWith Astorino numbers plundering to the point where he may get overun by Howie Hawkins from the Green Party, a whole stretch of blank space on the ballot from no Judicial candidates hurts Grimm/Golden.
ReplyDeleteThis is all Golden's fault.....Maybe if Golden didnt fracture the GOP like he did, things like this wouldnt have happened. Maybe if the GOP had a relationship with the BOE this wouldnt have happened, but Golden now controls the BOE and wants to even control the BOE in the General Office.....maybe Golden's own pet commissioner and his chief of staff should have had their finger on the pulse of the filing if it was soooooo important to them.....but then again they dont talk to anyone in the GOP anymore so who would they have called? The Ghostbusters maybe?
ReplyDeleteAbove Anonymous said now there is no buffer between Grimm and Golden on the ballot? Duh.....Golden would be right below Grimm on Ballot with or without Judicial candidates....how would judicial candidates be a buffer? A buffer would have to go in between Grimm and Golden.....
ReplyDeleteHey did anybody see Golden posted a letter from Andy Cuomo wishing him a happy Birthday, and Golden says "Thanks Gov".....what is wrong with him...is he a Republican???? Why would he post a letter from a Democratic Governor on his FB Page like they are best friends, when GOP Candidate Rob Astorino is in a fiercely contested race for the Governor's Race.....Playing both sides against the middle would you say????? This is disgraceful...there was no need to post that letter...just hurts Rob who is doing a great job on the stump.....Hope Rob sees that post.
ReplyDeletePrediction: Grimm wins...Golden loses.....Malliotkis crushes.....
ReplyDeleteGolden will get 68%
ReplyDeleteAfter election day he will be known as Senator for life.
Untile Gentile runs in 2016....then it is back to the Manor.....
ReplyDeleteGreat.
ReplyDeleteSo now everyone is conceding Golden wins 2 to 1

ReplyDelete"SECRET" SMALL MEETING OF GOP LEADERS -- RUMORED
One of my most secret Baker Street agents called to give this info to a not-so-secret BSI.... Here's what it's all about. A small group of Brooklyn GOP leaders was called together by an Executive Member from the 46th AD to talk about calling on Craig Eaton to resign as Brooklyn GOP Chairman.
There is a list of grievances, but the real reason is quite apparent --- so that Brooklyn GOP Vice Chairman Arnaldo Ferraro can rise to the Chairman's seat.
For some reason, a reporter for the New York Post is already onto the story and calling various involved individuals about the latest breakup of the Brooklyn GOP.
If anybody has more details, you know what to do.
Ah! Good times, good times....
What a joke....Arnaldo is the 1st Vice Chair but hasnt been to a meeting in over a year......and nobody likes him
ReplyDeleteYes I have more details...Arnaldo is tired of sitting around in his small room listening to himself talk about being the first Italian american assemblyman, and telling stories about what he did on the Assembly Floor, and the only one sitting in the room with him is Lucretia, becuase they are the only ones who can stand each other....and I hear Marcus has left the trio and is no longer with them...I guess he wised up....
ReplyDeleteI also heard that they are talking about putting David Storobin in as Vice Chair.......
ReplyDeleteNow, that's FUNNY
ReplyDeleteOnce again the Lucretia-Arnaldo team srewed up...they leak something to Gale about a meeting which they probably were the only attendees, and maybe Marcus, and then try to spin it...clearly now Eaton with his ego will never agree to step down, even if he had plans to....Lucretia shot herself in the foot once again....and btw, what makes her think anyone would support Arnaldo anyway? He lost three times running for chair, walked away from his role as 1st vice chair because he wasnt given "RESPECT"; and his chief and only supporter, Lucretia hasnt one a race in....ever...?
ReplyDeleteArnaldo for County Chair...now that is hilarious...everyone would resign if that happened....I even think Tim Hot Dog Cochrane would be a better choice...and that is even sadder...
ReplyDeleteStorobin for President? How does that sound....
The only thing funnier than Arnaldo for Chairman is the idea of Berardelli for law chairman. Oh wait.

ReplyDeleteAT LEAST SEVEN GOP "LEADERS" WERE AT THE RUMP MEETING MENTIONED ABOVE
THEY MET TO DISCUSS BROOKLYN GOP "PROBLEMS" AND "WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT" [SUPPOSEDLY NOBODY TALKED ABOUT CRAIG'S STEPPING DOWN OR ARNALDO'S BECOMING BROOKLYN GOP CHAIRMAN]
There were at least five members of the GOP State Committee and two other "Executive Members" at the meeting called by one of the 46th AD State Committtee Members. The 45th, 46th and 47th ADs were formally represented, and there were some generally Bay Ridge types there.
One of my more reliable BSIs said that there was no specific talk about the early resignation of GOP County Chairman Craig Eaton. It's also interesting that somebody that was there almost immediately reported everything back to Marty Golden's folks, including at least one non-Republican that has interfered in internal GOP politics in the past.
They are the dog chasing the car. Once they catch it they will do some damage, destroy themselves, and as the saying goes, not know what the hell to do with it.
ReplyDeleteArnaldo has worked/supported how many successful republican campaigns since his fluke 1 term in the 80s???
Arnaldo as Vice Chair is the ULTIMATE insurance policy for Craig Eaton.
ReplyDeleteNo one wants to see that blowhard one termer become Chairman. No one..
Anonymous 3:25 pm....very interesting comment....BUT, above there was some spin, presumably leaked by Arnaldo or Lucretia, that the meeting was really to get support for a demand from Leaders to get Eaton to step down..........
ReplyDeleteSounds like it REALLY backfired on them...no?
EATON isnt the problem here...GOLDEN is....
