Joseph Farrah of the “World Net Daily” says that a “NOTICE”* of termination of employment needs to be sent to certain Republicans as much as to any Democrat ( See “SEND CONGRESS THE PINK SLIP – Shock campaign that fired up 2010 revolution is back,” published 6/19/2014, World Net Daily [http://www.wnd.com/2014/06/send-congress-the-pink-slip/])
Congressman Michael Grimm (R-C, NY-11th Cong. Dist.) is one such “Republican” who needs to have a “Pink Slip” sent to him — BUT, let's give him a warning first !
Please, copy (preferably on pink paper) the “NOTICE”* below; and send or personally deliver it to Congressman Michael Grimm at one of the following addresses, whichever you believe would be the most effective:

TO: CONGRESSMAN MICHAEL GRIMM
THIS IS YOUR FINAL WARNING NOTICE !
NOTICE OF POSSIBLE TERMINATION OF TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT !
Quite apart from the legal problems arising out of your Federal indictment containing multiple counts of criminal activities, IT’S TIME FOR YOU TO ACTUALLY DO THE TEMPORARY JOB YOU WERE HIRED TO PERFORM AFTER YOUR ELECTION IN 2010, BEGINNING WITH YOUR TAKING OFFICE IN 2011, THROUGH YOUR RE-ELECTION IN 2012 TO THE PRESENT — THAT TEMPORARY JOB IS BEING A RESPONSIVE AND RESPONSIBLE MEMBER OF CONGRESS IN NY'S 11th CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT
WE HAVE BEEN WATCHING YOU — AND THUS FAR, YOUR PERFORMANCE HAS BEEN UNSATISFACTORY
WE ARE STILL WATCHING YOU.
HOWEVER, YOU CAN HAVE ONE LAST CHANCE TO GET IT RIGHT...
You must act immediately to try to hold the President of the United States accountable for repeated violations of the Constitution and other U.S. laws.
This means your immediately demanding that Barack Obama enforce this nation’s Immigration Laws now, or else nationhood for the United States will have no meaning. If President Obama should continue fail to enforce these laws, he needs to face Impeachment Hearings from a House Select Committee, the empaneling of which you must fully support in the House of Representatives – and those hearings need to be quickly concluded and followed by an Impeachment Vote in the House based on a quick report from the House Select Impeachment Committee.
WE ARE WATCHING YOU
Immediately, you must push for stronger measures to uncover and punish, directly and/or indirectly by whatever means Congress can muster, all those culpable for using the IRS to target citizens based on their political beliefs and activities.
WE ARE WATCHING YOU
You need to support the break up the Veterans Administration cartel on care for veterans. And you must support emergency efforts to get necessary medical care to our vets immediately – both inside and outside the VA system.
WE ARE WATCHING YOU
If you fail to meet the urgent demands presented above, a REAL EFFORT TO THROW YOU OUT OF YOUR TEMPORARY JOB AS A MEMBER OF CONGRESS WILL BE MOUNTED BY THE UNDERSIGNED ON ELECTION DAY.
Signed,

Hey Gale, did you miss a big story about Conressman Grimm that was in the New York Times on Monday. I thinkso but I don’t know why. Because I sent you the link on your email. The way it looked to me was that Recchia isn’t making any gains on Staten Island and tried to show the Time’s reporter how he could win the election in the Brooklyn part of the district. You mention the Times all the time that it tears down good hard working Republicans like Golden and Grimm but not when it says he’s probably going to win against Recchia.
ReplyDeleteREPLY: THE “SO NOW I KNOW WHAT SOMEBODY ELSE THINKS” EDITION
ReplyDeleteI assume that you [Anonymous said... July 9, 2014 at 5:43 PM] are referring to an article by Jason Horowitz ( See “Staten Island’s Tough-Guy Congressman Faces Somebody His Own Size - Domenic Recchia Answers Call to Unseat Representative Michael Grimm” by Jay Horowitz, 7/6/14 [print edition 7/7/14], NY Times [http://www.nytimes.com/2014/07/07/nyregion/domenic-recchia-steps-up-to-unseat-michael-grimm.html?_r=0]).
As I said when I responded to your Email, I'd already seen that TImes article; and I couldn’t really tell what the NY Times’ author was trying to say about either Grimm or Recchia, other than that Recchia had cooperated with the Times reporter and Grimm didn’t. I did see that Recchia talked a lot about the politics on the Brooklyn side of the district; but the article also showed that Recchia was doing okay in Staten Island. What I didn’t see was any part of the Times article that said, “...he’s probably going to win against Recchia.” [“he’s” obviously meaning “Grimm is”].
Btw, the same or very similar material was commented about by Ross Barkan of the New York Observer ( See “Staten Island GOP Leader Warns Recchia Will Rely on ‘Brooklyn Housing Project’ Votes” by Ross Barkan, 7/9/14, NY Observer [http://observer.com/2014/07/staten-island-gop-leader-warns-recchia-will-rely-on-brooklyn-housing-project-votes/] [follow us @newyorkobserver on Twitter | newyorkobserver on Facebook]).
Seriously, “...Housing Project Votes...” — a not very subtle racist pitch by the Staten Island GOP this early in the campaign bespeaks desperation about Grimm’s chances.
Michael Grimm is a hard working Republican.
ReplyDeleteHe will crush Recchia like a grape.
BTW, Anonymous was lying about what The Times article said about this race. it NEVER said Grimm is probably going to win. Never.
ReplyDeleteI think anonymous 10:15PM blew the line. Grimm isn't going to crush candidate Recchia like a grape, Grimm is going to break Recchia in half like a boy.
ReplyDeleteUPDATE & BACKFILL: THE “IMPEACHMENT DEBATE INSIDE THE REPUBLICAN PARTY” EDITION
ReplyDeleteBOEHNER DISAGREES WITH PALIN OVER IMPEACHMENT
HOUSE SPEAKER BOEHNER, LIKE CONGRESSMAN GRIMM, CHOOSES POLITICS AHEAD OF DUTY TO SUPPORT AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION AGAINST ALL THREATS
According to a report in the Washington Post, on Tuesday former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin joined a growing chorus of Republicans calling for the impeachment of Obama. Palin’s position had been expressed in an op-ed for Breitbart News that said the influx of young illegals over the southern border "is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, 'no mas’...." (See “Boehner disagrees with Palin on impeaching Obama” by Ed O’Keefe, 7/9/14, Washington Post/ Post Politics [http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-politics/wp/2014/07/09/boehner-disagrees-with-palin-on-impeaching-obama/]). A video link with the Post article shows a saturnine and terse Boehner answer "I disagree," on Wednesday morning when a reporter asked about Palin’s position. When that reporter pressed the Speaker, pointing out that many House Republicans have also called for the impeachment of the president, Boehner said again: "I disagree."
Boehner’s position reflects the views held by a current majority of the Republican members of Congress, who are wary of any talk of impeachment. They emphasize that “Impeachment” could hand Democrats a compelling issue that might help that party retain its majority in the Senate during a tough election year. They point out that the impeachment of President Bill Clinton backfired badly on the GOP in 1998, when Democrats against odds picked up seats in the House (See “Boehner says no to impeachment” by Christina Marcos, 7/8/14, The Hill [http://thehill.com/homenews/house/211689-boehner-says-no-to-impeachment]).
The Hill article also included these earlier pointed remarks by the former GOP Vice Presidential candidate: “Palin mocked the [Boehner backed] lawsuit in an interview Monday on Fox News. *** ‘You don't bring a lawsuit to a gunfight. There is no place for lawyers on the frontline. Where are the front lines in America? They are our borders,’ she said.”
Clearly, many Republicans who hold the Boehner position on impeachment have chosen politics over principle and their oaths to support and defend the Constitution.
Earlier this year I confronted Congressman Grimm about his position on impeachment of the President. Grimm said that his position was what was held by an overwhelming majority of the Republican caucus in Congress, that impeachment talk was a non-starter that only the crazy fringe of Republican extremists were pushing. When I pressed him about it, he got huffy and said if Impeachment was voted out of the House, it was going nowhere in the Senate. He added look what happened the last time the Republicans tried it. Grimm’s position was clear – anybody who pushed for impeachment were just like unruly children who could say whatever they wanted, unlike him, who had to be on the front line in Washington and had to be an“adult” in the room. I haven’t heard or seen anything since to show that Grimm's position has changed one bit.
Republicans who have openly called for Obama’s impeachment or have said that impeachment should be considered include Sens. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) and Tim Scott (R-S.C.), Reps. Blake Farenthold (R-Tex.), Kerry Bentivolio (R-Mich.), Michael Burgess (R-Tex.) and Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), the South Dakota Republican Party, and former congressmen Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.) and Allen West (R-Fla.).
What is OBAMA and Grimm and Boehner doing about the invasion of the United States from Mexico? It is an ACT OF WAR.
ReplyDeleteNobody in Washington is doing the job of defending the HOMELAND.
did recchia buy you lunch today?
