With all these updates and exclusives I hardly know where to begin --- "Let's start with one of Mr. Berardelli's updated views of what has been accomplished most recently --- "... NRA President Breaks News on Brooklyn GOP Radio" --- Unfortunately, Berardelli's "Update" doesn't readily make clear what that breaking news on Brooklyn GOP Radio by NRA President Keene might have been
Here is the whole text of Mr. Gene Berardelli's "Update" that appeared in the "Brooklyn GOP Radio -Official- Show Blog": "Brooklyn GOP Radio's interview with NRA President David Keene was his first response to Gov. Cuomo's State of the State address that took place earlier yesterday. *** What a night. *** Brooklyn GOP Radio conducted an exclusive interview with National Rifle Association President David Keene, where we were the first to ask about the NRA's response to Gov. Andrew Cuomo's State of the State address where he promised that New York would adopt the "toughest" gun control legislation in the nation. *** David Keene also talked to Russell and I exclusively about his opinion on so many topics, including President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, today's media climate, the Journal-News / Gawker postings and recent White House comments on the possibility of using executive orders to implement gun control policy, among so many other issues. David was even so candid as to reveal that he and NRA Executive VP Wayne LaPierre has received death threats since unveiling the Association's position in response to the tragedy in Newtown, CT. *** Our interview is making national news, as evidenced by this video that aired on CBS nationally (Brooklyn GOP Radio is sourced!) [a video clip of a CBS News report was linked in the Berardelli update] "
Where's the breaking news ?
Update: Even though Beradelli doesn't characterize his latest post as such, this is really an update of an update of an update.
ReplyDeleteGene Berardelli just loves to tout his own stuff and he did it again in his Saturday, January 12, 2013 post, "Hyprocrisy, Thy Name is Journal-News" in the Brooklyn GOP Radio -Official- Show Blog"; and here's the beef, "I was ecstatic to find out today that The O'Reilly Factor used a clip from our interview with David Keene ..." And I'm sure that those who know and love Gene Berardelli the most are equally ecstatic that his little blog-radio program has made it to a mention on the big show, "O'Reilly..."
For myself, I'll have nothing of what Berardelli is [and, to the extent he's involved in any of this, Gallo are] serving. But, please, bring me a fork; and I'll just pick.
As I noted in the post above, I really didn't see where David Keene broke any news on Berarrdelli's blog- or pod-cast show. Now, I have to point out that I don't see any of the "Hypocrisy" that Berardelli is referring to in his latest post.
The Journal-News published the names and addresses of registered gun owners in a few suburban New York counties. Now, for various reasons, the publishers and editors of that rag don't want to make any other comments about it, and they have hired armed guards to protect themselves from some kind of perceived threat(s), real or imagined.
Since it should now be obvious to all that the "outing" of the names and addresses of registered gun-owners was probably harmful to many those on the Journal-News' published lists, it doesn't seem unreasonable for the folks at the Journal-News not to dig an even deeper hole of guilt with more comments about their initial publication, and to protect themselves from anybody intensely offended by what they did.
