"Something" about a bag of cats not at the school  ---  but nothing about a kid with guns killing 19 kids at the school.....

Now, this is what Karim Elsammak calls "...  a new generation of leadership..."  for the Brooklyn GOP  >>>  clearly referring to the Uvalde school shooter, and the Uvalde school shootings  ---  but not mentioning the guns used at the school to kill the 19 kids  ---  not even a peep.....

Not  >>> for <<<  guns, not  >>> against <<<  guns  ---  just no mention of guns at all.....  

An incident of gun violence resulting in a mass killing of 22 victims in a school on a school day  ---  but the kid pilot makes no mention of the AR-15-style guns that the shooter had with him  ---  along with the hundreds of rounds of ammo, and the several high capacity magazines.....

Karim Elsammak is showing everyone just what kind of Republican leader he can be.  Just don't ask his opinion about guns  ---  and that looks like it would be any opinion   ---  about any guns  ---  under any circumstances.

Does Brian Fox even know what the real reasons to buck up against Brannan's radical agenda might be ???

Brannan's own Tweets are not just an insight into what the man is thinking and about to attempt  >>>  they are an endless source of material to fuel a genuine conservative Republican campaign against him  ---  but Foxy Loxy doesn't seem to have a clue what any of Brannan's Tweets are, or what any of them mean.....

For example, right now Justin Brannan is running around like Chicken Little quoting from U.N. reports about the risks of increasing environmental calamities around the globe, and their disproportional impacts on certain communities; and that all of it "... signal[s] a new reality that requires immediate action at all levels of government...." --- and furthermore, he's openly advocating for solutions that he calls "racial justice" and "climate justice"

Brannan has suddenly turned into a regular Greta Thunberg, with Tweets like this:  "...  We are now under siege by climate change in ways scientists have warned about for years. These cascading disasters are no longer features of a distant, dystopian future. Fighting back will require big bold policy AND sweating the so-called 'small stuff'...."; and our incumbent Democrat City Councilman has become an environmental Jeremiah, telling us that the U.N. "... is warning us using horrifying terms like 'total societal collapse'..." and that "... this is not about doom-mongering but about understanding risks so we can make better choices and avoid worst-case outcomes...."

And here is the Brannan solution presented in an open and notorious way:  

"...  Policymakers at all levels must evolve quickly & recognize solutions & proposals for the challenges related to the economy, the environment, and equity can no longer be [delayed]. To bring down the temperature, leaders must embrace an urgent, immediate & holistic approach...."

For Brannan that means everything is on the table to advance the "Green Agenda" locally

Sure, you and I know that it's all just Brannan's using a word salad to create the impression of an imminent crisis in order to push the same agenda locally that the Democrats in Washington have used to bring the whole country to the brink of total economic collapse.  

However, our Foxy Loxy doesn't seem to have a clue whether to agree or disagree with his opponent  ---   he stands idly by and remains mute.

That is because Brian Fox is stuck just like the Scarecrow in the "Wizard of Oz" with nothing but straw in his head  >>>  and all that Fox is able to respond to any of what Brannan had to say is:

Vito LaBella has formally elected to run for the State Senate in the 17th NYS Senate District --- a district where he can be elected

This morning, while Vito LaBella was at the BOE filing his paperwork electing to run in Brooklyn's 17th State Senate District  >>>  he posted this statement on social media along with a video:  

"Vito LaBella For New York...  Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 10:19 AM...  I dropped off my petition for Senate District 17 in Brooklyn. These are the neighborhoods where all of my kids attended school, where I hung out growing up and where I currently represent parents at the Christa McAuliffe Middle School and on the District 20 Community Education Council. I look forward to seeing everybody over the next six months. VitoLaBellaforNY.com...."

In 2022, the 17th State Senate District will be the most hotly contested piece of Brooklyn cut out of the old 22nd [Golden-Gounardes] State Senate District, both in the primaries and during the general election. Of all the Republicans running there at this time, Vito LaBella has the best chance of winning it all come November.

There has been a significant breakdown in the original versions and explanations by police in and around the Uvalde about what had happened at the Robb Elementary School on Tuesday

 

NOW  >>> the story by the Texas police is that all the shooting outside the school before Salvador Ramos entered into the classroom area was by Ramos alone  ---  and there was no exchange of gunfire by any school resource officer

Yesterday, the Texas police spokesperson had reported that there had been an exchange of gunfire before Ramos had entered the school

There are still myriad inaccuracies, contradictions and gaps in the timeline of events leading up to and during the events at the Uvalde Robb Elementary School.

Hmmmm !!!!!

The Uvalde, Texas school shooter bought two AR-15s on his 18th birthday --- they ain't cheap.....

An internet search reveals that the current price for only the two AR-15s would be about $3,000 to $5,000 if they were new  [a wider search found significantly lower prices than that  ---  but they still ain't cheap]

Salvador Ramos also had a handgun and body armor [ later reports say that he was wearing a ballistic vest, but it did not contain any armor plates]  ---  he had planned to do it  ---  he posted messages about it hours before hand

Just like Payton Gendron, the shooter in Buffalo, Salvador Ramos had displayed more "red flags" than an old May Day Parade through Union Square

There is already tons of stuff that is known, but they are not reporting lots of details about this kid and his background

He drove his car like he was Mr. Toad on his wild ride, but Salvador Ramos was a killing machine once he was inside the Robb Elementary School.

Later reports have thus far placed the death toll in the shooting at the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, at 22 victims of the gunman  ---  with at least 19 children, one teacher, and a second school employee killed, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Prior to the mass killings at the school, Salvador Ramos had shot his grandmother, who survived, but was seriously wounded and remains hospitalized.

Ramos was killed at the scene after an exchange of gunfire with responding law enforcement officers from various jurisdictions.

At last, a declared Brooklyn GOP candidate demonstrates a proper sense of the moment in the face of a horrific crime  >>>  along with an appropriate, simple, and straightforward message

Vito LaBella, the declared GOP candidate for the NY State Senate from the 17th State Senate District,  posted the following statement on his Facebook page along with his linked video:  

"Vito LaBella...   Monday, May 23, 2022 at 6:29 PM...  Our hearts break for the Family of Daniel Enriquez, senselessly murdered taking the Q train on a Sunday morning, We are also devastated by the treatment of (Madeline Brame) @madelineBrame and her Family still mourning the loss of her son and hero veteran who was butchered by thugs. Alvin Bragg let his killers off with a slap on the wrist. We are not safe anymore. I will not stand for this! We've had enough! VitoLaBellaforNY.com...."

Thus far, the independent Republican candidate Vito LaBella remains the only GOP candidate to publically declare his candidacy for the newly created 17th State Senate District in Brooklyn.....

It still isn't clear whether Vito LaBella will face any primary, or whether he might possibly be given the Conservative Party line in the new 17th SD.  According to the latest reports, Karim Elsammak is still waiting to make a decision on any 2022 candidacy following the official release of the newly approved State Senate districts and lines in Brooklyn.

He's been around for well over a year-and-a-half --- but does anybody really know who the so-called GOP guy Brian Fox is and/or what he is up to ???

 

He does some superficial political stuff like organizing street rallies around the routine local GOP and Conservative Party office holders and candidates, pitching their simplistic approaches to the issues of  crime and public safety  ---  and lately, Fox has been getting closer & closer to Curtis Sliwa and his red beret crew, patroling the streets of Bay Ridge with them, and marching with them in local ethnic parades  ---  Fox's most recent bit is something called a "Populist Summit" that Fox is headlining along with Curtis Sliwa and Gavin Wax  ---  but right before that was the abortive attempt to provide a forum for GOP gubernatorial candidate Andrew Guiliani at Fox's Verrazzano Republican Club

In reality, we still don't know who Brian Fox is, where he came from, or how he makes his money or otherwise supports himself  >>>  OR  >>>  what he does to while away his spare time

Here's where maybe it gets a little creepy   ---  AND  ---    From now on,  we here on this independent GOP blog for Brooklyn and Staten Island are going to call this particular stuff  "The Brian Fox Pizza Connection"

For some reason, one of our sources inside the older Brooklyn GOP establishment seem to think that Brian Fox has been hanging out at the same pizza place on Third Avenue near 86th Street in Bay Ridge almost every single day.  We've been told that whenever he's been asked or just talks about it, Fox tells people that he often meets many locals there for lunch or just to chat. 

Most of the time that he's there, he just sits for hours and hours talking on his phone, smoking his cigarettes, and eating the calorie equivalent of two big meals.  After a few hours there, the folks that he usually meets sit down with him between five and six in the evening.

Here is something else that also happens just about every day.  During part of the time that Brian is waiting around there, bunches of kids coming up from Fort Hamilton HS hang out all around that pizza joint and the corner where it's located;  and none of that seems to bother Brian at all.

 

WOW !!! --- It surely looks like somebody showed Brian Fox who's boss

 

A few days ago, Brian Fox announced the appearance of Republican gubernatorial candidate Andrew Giuliani at his Verrazzano Republican Club's May meeting at the Leif Bar

At around 9:00 PM on May 17th, this notice appeared from Brian Fox on his campaign's Meta-FB page:  

"Brian Fox for City Council...  Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 9:16 PM...  I regret to inform everyone that the May 25th Verrazzano Republicans meeting has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. We wonder if Brian's ears are still ringing from those same "unforeseen circumstances" that caused the cancellation of his club's May meeting.....

So Nicole is probably a happier camper --- but the kid needs to put his dreams away for another day

 

Nicole's newer proposed lines are better for her than the last ones that were set aside  ---   but there are no guarantees here without a "red wave" in both Brooklyn and Staten Island

But the Special Master must not like beardless young sky pilots that want to run for the NYS Senate in 2022  ---  regardless of their outfits or their grooming  

Among the Special Master's proposed State Senate Districts Nos. 17, 22, 23 or 26  ---  none looks very promising for Karim Elsammak  ---  either in a GOP primary or a general election

However, the current Democrat incumbent State Senator from Bay Ridge, Andrew Gounardes, might be out in the cold as well (and  >>>  Boy, is Boss Brannan notably unimpressed with this whole state of affairs).....

Now is the time for the GOP Pollyannas to chime in about how great these lines are for the rejuvenated Brooklyn GOP, and especially for the young leadership in the Brooklyn GOP.  Please, be sure to tell us that with these completely new lines, and all the fresh new blood that Ghorra has infused into the Brooklyn GOP, the new generation of leadership will get its chance to strut its stuff on a clean slate.....

Mass killing in Buffalo was result of bad policing --- bad mental health --- and bad education

 

Eleven months ago, Payton Gendron's prior threat to shoot up a HS graduation in 2021 was completely mishandled by several governmental institutions 

"....  Police in Broome County, New York, were called by a local high school in June 2021 after they reported that Gendron threatened a shooting at graduation or during that time, law enforcement sources familiar with the matter confirmed to ABC News. The reality is that the case of Rameek Smith is not about bail reform at all.....

It's all about the same kinds of reforms that our very young "Sky Captain" Karim is advocating himself

You see Karim appears to be very uninformed about the Rameek Smith case >>> because it's really not a case about bail at all. Karim would know that if only he had read the articles about the case in the NY Post, instead of maybe just skimming the headlines that gave a completely false picture of what happened. Rameek Smith had been indicted and pleaded guilty --- he also had a history of mental illness and his plea deal involved a diversion for treatment.

The case is not about bail at all --- the case is another failure of the mental health system, together with misguided notions of various non-incarceration diversions instead of proper prison sentences by the DAs and the courts.

Now, on the other hand, maybe the kid really knew all  that stuff when he did his Tweets and Re-tweets  ---  which would change Karim Elsammak's social media postings from uninformed blather to  >>> OUTRIGHT LIES <<<

The reason we believe this to be so is that Rameek Smith was out on the streets for exactly the kinds of criminal justice reforms advocated by Karim Elsammak on Facebook just in the last couple of weeks.  So, you see he has every reason to lie in order to cover his tracks wrt the all his WOKE, hip, and Gen-Z new generation of leadership crap that in this instance caused an NYPD officer to be shot, and Rameek Smith to be shot dead instead of locked up in prison once he had pleaded guilty.
