Were Golden and his guy "Q" behind the spreading of the Capano "Subway Beer" Shot ???

One of the county-wide newspaper operations says that they have the goods ---  in the form of captured screens  ---  with virtually identical messages showing up almost simultaneously on the Twitter accounts for @SouthBrooklynR  and for @SenMartyGolden   

For what seems like forever,  the "Subway Beer" photo has been posted on the Twitter site called "South Brooklyn Red"  ---  @SouthBrooklynR 

As a result, people in the know about the technical stuff say that the "Subway Beer" photo attack on Bob Capano most likely has >>> BOTH <<< Marty Golden's and John Quaglione's fingerprints all over it, even though it never appeared on the Golden Twitter site

BTW, the Golden crowd can't even blame Julianne Cuba for breaking this story..... The scoop about the simultaneous messages appearing on both the South Brooklyn Red site and the one for State Senator Golden was first put out there by Julianne McShane.

In addition to being able to directly link the two sites for similar messages, as reported by Ms. McShane, an analyst says that an arguably stronger link can be made between Golden and Quaglione and the now very problematic "Subway Beer" posting of Bob Capano that appeared on "South Brooklyn Red." It was posted in the middle of John Quaglione's work day [according to Twitter's timestamp, at 1:50 PM on Jun 19, 2018]  --- you know, when Golden and Quaglione are supposed to be working for the PEOPLE of the State of New York.

Dr. Mathylde Frontus' recent meeting of so-called "clergy" people had a distinctly anti-white,  and obvious anti-Catholic tint


Why else would Doctor Frontus completely ignore religious leaders from the heaviest voting demographic(s) in her district ???


Why else would the good doctor so openly attack "gentrification" in a district that has for so long been very much white working class;  and, if it is "changing" at all, is doing so driven by Asian and Middle Eastern migrants ?????


From now on call her "DOCTOR FAUSTUS" instead of  "DOCTOR FRONTUS"  ---   because,  as far as I'm concerned,  she has made her pact with "Old Scratch" himself (Now, how's that for mixing literary references ?)

Please read it yourself,  maybe I'm being unduly sensitive.....   However,  if I am right about all this,  I also wonder whether any of  the other candidates in this race for the Assembly in the 46th AD  will have the guts to openly bell this cat,  just like I have.....   

Racism and religious bigotry need to be exposed on "The Left" as much as any place else;   and Ivy League degrees like the ones held by "DOCTOR FRONTUS" are not a thick enough veneer to cover what she is really peddling as part of her religiously-based campaign.

BAM  !!!!!    There's more documentary proof that State Senator Martin Golden can't control himself or his car when he's behind the wheel  ---  he's been caught speeding three (3) times so far in 2018 on speed-cams in school safety zones 

The fact that there was NO FUNDING coming out of the GOP-controlled state senate this session for continuation of the speed-cam program,  is further proof that Marty Golden is pretty much lying to us about his "support" for the speed-cam program  ---   the fact is that he has been personally against the speed-cam program and  had complained about it in the past

Given his homicidal driving record,  Marty Golden's recently-proven record of continued speeding shows something else about him  ---  he is a sociopath

Now,  Marty will probably have to run along with Michael Grimm  ---  And anybody who has had any adverse personal dealings with Michael Grimm knows in their gut that he too is a sociopath

OMG  ---  WITH TWO SOCIOPATHS ON THE TOP OF THE BROOKLYN GOP TICKET  ---   nice folks like Steven Saperstein should just throw in their cards right now, and put their dreams away for another day.....

The Democrats are going to have a field day with this kind of stuff.....

What happened to the once-upon-a-time fairy tale "Fusion Club" of Brooklyn and Queens ???

It once was a so-called "nonpartisan" political club that united a handful outer-borough Republicans with some of their Democrat counterparts,  and its members included a bunch of folks who had jobs in various city & state agencies, and/or the courts;  however, it disappeared years ago and is now virtually forgotten

The Republican names were Queens guys like John  Haggerty, Bart Haggerty and Joe Kasper, and GOP Brooklynites included Marty Golden,  and Democrats-turned-Republicans Joe and Ann English;  among the notable Democrats often associated with the club were Queens powerhouses like Melinda Katz and Alan Hevesi 

The meetings' venues generally alternated between spots like the Bay Ridge Manor in Brooklyn and various Queens restaurants and halls in Ozone Park, Richmond Hill  and Woodhaven

The reason I thought about this particular "in the day" political hybrid is that some folks seem to be talking about reviving it  ---  or something very close to it in 2018.   Except that  ---  this time I don't think Brooklyn GOPer Marty Golden will have the inside track, either when it comes to the politics or the catering.

The Donovan-Grimm primary for congress is shaping up as another surrogate fight involving Marty Golden and his crew up against Liam McCabe and his crew

After running him over like he was a little old lady in 2017,  Marty actually looks and sounds like he is going to the mattresses for two GOP primaries in a row against Liam McCabe 

There's a lot at stake in this year's GOP primary for congress,  and a lot of it has little to do with who will represent the GOP as it's congressional candidate for the Southwest Brooklyn seat now held by Dan Donovan.   For two primaries in a space of less than seven months,  Golden is doing some serious work for a side without his name being on the ballot in any way;   in 2017 it was for John Quaglione for City Council and in 2018 it is for Dan Donovan for the U.S. Congress.

By now,  all of you should have gotten the Marty Golden robocalls and/or the personal but official-looking letter, specially made to look like it's from the "Office" of New York State Senator Golden.  So far,  it looks like Marty is going all-in for Donovan to carry the Brooklyn end of the congressional district.

Without a doubt,  the real fight for all the world to see is if Marty Golden can stop Mike Grimm from carrying Brooklyn,  which it looks like he is going to do.  That's very much how it was when Grimm first ran for the seat in a GOP primary several years back in 2010 against Michael Allegretti,  when Golden strongly backed Allegretti.   But this time the real kicking and knifing under the table isn't between the Marty-controlled Brooklyn GOP and the old LaGuardia Club,  it's between Marty's guys and those in it for Grimm aligned with Liam McCabe.

Make no mistake about it,  if Grimm carries the Brooklyn portion of the two-county congressional district,  it will be a real feather in the cap for Liam.  That's important because there is already talk of another Brooklyn GOP organizational fight in 2019 due to the very weak performance of Ted Ghorra as County Chairman ( BTW,  I don't think that his phoned-in support in the Grimm-Donovan race will count for anything).   It's obvious that Golden doesn't want Liam to rebuild any momentum whatsoever,  especially after Marty's helping to crush the lad in his 2017 primary tilt against John Quaglione.

Well,  with less than five days to go,  let's see what happens next.

Chairman Bob should have let it go.....

Try never to let them know when they hit you with a  " 'Gotcha !' moment "  that scored.....

A can of beer on a crowded subway  ---  It's not quite the stuff of a Nuremberg prosecution,  you know  ---  Certainly,  given the public intoxication standards of one or two of our local elected Republicans,  and the consequences for them,  this is very light beer indeed

Going full counter-force against various perceived "routine suspects" was neither the best tactic nor the best strategy for the top local Reform Party guy.

Instead,  I would have countered with something witty like this:   "The 'standing woman' in question (and in the photo)  really looked like she had probably chosen her spot with an eye toward some good healthy IRT-quality frottage.  I offered her my seat,  but she demurred and said that her chosen spot was where she really wanted to be....   Who was I to interfere with her life choices ?"

The incumbent is Jo Anne Simon.  A Wilson Pakula is an authorization given by a political party to a candidate for public office that allows the candidate not registered with that particular party to run as its candidate in an election. The Kings County Reform Party is expected to make additional endorsements in state races next week.

DN: Pam Harris to plead guilty today

None of what happens to Pam Harris will help elect any Republican running for any office with any footprint in the 46th AD.....  

To quote the sage, Bill Murray:  "... It just doesn't matter..."

Since the Republican Party in Brooklyn is not competitive an any district wholly within Brooklyn (other than possibly Marty Golden's 22nd SD,  where he is trying to fight off an expected Democrat onslaught by Andrew Gounardes),  any news concerning Pam Harris is unlikely to have any political consequence whatsoever  (except perhaps for a Democrat successor).

Dan Donovan can't get out of his own way because Jessica Proud is in the way.....

Without a doubt,  incumbent Republican Congressman Dan Donovan had problems going into this year's elections.   He and his handlers have made things much worse by leaving Jessica Proud in charge of a campaign that looks like it's being run by a bunch of amateurs.

That's not from me,  I'm only a humble blogger.  It's from two longtime Brooklyn pols one of whom knows Donovan and Proud very well.

Maybe, our commenters can provide more detail on what I'm talking about;  or maybe,  somebody out there can set me straight.....

Hmmmmm !!! Due to technical problems, the Reform Party "endorsement" of Marty Golden has been delayed

Treyger seems to be a little bit balky with his stalking horse in the 46th AD race  (who knows, maybe it's part of his Marty G deal)  ---   so, as of this moment, Gounardes continues to be the Dems' guy for the NYS Senate

People just keep bugging Bob Capano,  the Brooklyn Reform Chairman,  about what the Reform slate looks like  ---   And he keeps saying,  "I got nothing for yuh....."

And some folks are grumbling.....

To paraphrase a local political leader,  "That's all for now....."

Yes, it's "Gods and Monsters" all over again --- This time in Brooklyn

I hear they're doing a new movie called "Killing the Golden Goose"  (YES, ALMOST ALL OF THIS IS MADE UP,  just like so much of the pro-Golden trolling stuff that has been littering my comments lately.....)

The film supposedly opens with the farmer saying this:  "Something is beginning to feel like fingers around the throat of our beloved 'Golden Goose'..."   One of the farmhands answers,  "I'm feeling the exact same thing....."   (Spoiler:  this story doesn't end well for the goose, for the farmer or for the the hands  working on the farm  ---  the townspeople all rally together and burn down the whole farm and in a fury of bloodlust kill everything and everybody on the farm)

Sure it's derivative !!!!!    But just picture James Whale's "Frankenstein" redone as an allegory about some fowl that lays golden eggs  ---  all on glorious black and white nitro-celluloid.....

It could be very explosive !!!!!
