{Brooklyn, NY} –
Bob Capano, a staunch supporter of the NYPD and the leading Republican
City Council candidate for Brooklyn's 43rd district (Bay Ridge, Dyker
Heights, Bensonhurst) race next year, condemned Linda Sarsour, his
potential Democratic opponent, for her defense of a raucous protest at
City Hall that saw cops remove demonstrators and delayed a City Council
Contracts committee meeting for over an hour.
Linda Sarsour, who has been widely rumored to be seeking to
replace term-limited Councilman Vincent Gentile next year, defended the
protest in published reports and on twitter. One publication said the
demonstration against a City Council resolution condemning boycotts
against Israel had a "militant tone." The resolution
opposes "all efforts to delegitimize the state of Israel and the
global movement to boycott, divest from, and sanction the people of
Israel." Ms. Sarsour strongly opposes the City Council
resolution and supports the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement
against Israel. Assemblyman Charles Barron also spoke against the
resolution.
Capano, who has been the most outspoken local critic of Sarsour,
including leading a call to have her removed from Brooklyn Community
Board 10 last year stated, "Once again, Linda Sarsour demonstrated
why she is radical and wrong to serve as a member of the City Council.
She is part of the racist radical left along with her comrade and former
Black Panther, Assemblyman Charles Barron. You do not get your view
points across by shutting down a democratic institution. This latest
incident is just a continuation of her long record of extreme rhetoric
and actions." Protesters chanted "Zionism is racism" as
they were ushered out by police.
Capano also noted that Sarsour, a well-known pro-Palestinian activist and
Executive Director of the Arab-American Association of New
York, participated in an anti-police protest outside of Gracie
Mansion on December 3, 2015 where she was arrested. Video from the
protest shows one of the participants yelling in the face of a police
officer "Nobody looks at you like a hero, just a racist". It
also shows Sarsour and others chanting about "the violence
of racist police."
Capano, who was the District Director to former Republican Congressman
Bob Turner (Brooklyn-Queens), condemned the NYC Fiscal Year 2017 Expense
Budget allocation of at least $23,750 to the Arab-American Association.
He said, "It is outrageous that taxpayer money is being used to fund
an organization whose Executive Director supports halting government
meetings through protests, encourages violence, does not condemn
terrorist attacks against Israel, and views our police as
racist."
Last October, Sarsour posted on her twitter account a photo of
a Palestinian boy preparing to throw a rock at Israeli soldiers and
called it “The definition of courage". When Democratic Queens
Councilman Rory Lancman condemned Sarsour’s comments that same day
by stating, “Attacking Jews at their homes, schools, supermarkets,
cafes, buses, roads, synagogues and Seder tables is barbarous, and
enlisting children to commit those acts is even more
so,” Sarsour responded by stating, “The Zionist trolls are out
to play. You will never silence me."

BTW, isn't Bob Capano's release as important as Hillary Clinton's BS about what she wants us to think is wrong with her --- I think that HRC is more likely to have ammonia poppers in her purse than pneumonia in her lungs.... Who does she think she is Liz Taylor leaving the set and locations for "Cleopatra" ?????

At first glance, especially after a look at the headline and picture, you’d think that Amy Chozick were being allowed to do a real reporting piece in the NY Times about HRC and her recent medical issues, and not another HRC campaign“talking points” story --- NO SUCH LUCK ! ! !
The Chozick – Times piece starts off like this: “Hillary Clinton’s campaign, responding to enormous political pressure after she had to be helped into a van on Sunday — and after waiting hours before explaining that she was suffering from pneumonia — said Monday that it would release more medical information about her this week…. Even though Amy Chozick does argue that the HRC campaign wasn’t in any way transparent.on the matter of Hillary’s health issues, Chozick and the Times, nonetheless, parrot the most recent iteration of a long-evolving and rapidly changing narrative about the condition of HRC’s health; and how it’s not so different from Donald Trump’s.....

The MSM is doing a bit of an “Indian War Dance” about the mendacity of the Clinton Campaign in telling the HRC pneumonia story the way that it did..... What they don’t think you’ve noticed is that they are actually peddling that story, the whole time that they're complaining about it…..
